I am a teacher and upstanding citizen and CYS has targeted my family. They are a disgusting for profit organization that prey on families who they assume do not know their rights. I am a supporter and subscriber. Parents, we need to support this gentleman.

Going thru some malicious abusive behavior regarding CPS. They are not in the best interest of our children. CPS violated my due process. It's been a year and a half and still fighting for my rights to be a mother. CPS should be accountable for not doing their investigation

I beleive it is and should be the duty of care to provide the necessary ability to within the first two weeks over turn the orders and explain how if consent if given by way of force and or signing due to duress this is not legal and untill a certain point of signing by a judge are not in effect legal mayby if the necessary proof was able to be given but no proof has ever been withstanding

Privatise the contact if they try to target and do not allow them in your t house do not consent to opening your door and do not if you feel they will help you protect yourself against predetors ask them for any help they are not help self help is the only answer as when my son was assaulted physically they didn't act when they suggested eventually me having rights they suggested the use of charging with assault and intimidation they didn't follow through despite the risk to my safety my son's safety or the extra stress that may put me in fear against any other possible predatory people whom where around the hospital at the time and if the mother even went for a walk outside the room to get fresh air for even ten minutes each side that was in appropriate would endeavour to take advantage of the situation

Too hear that both parents got Clean and fought for thier kid is heartwarming to me. As a recovering addict with almost 3 years Clean I know what it is like to have CPS in your life and I know how hard it is to stay Clean because of all the stress you have to deal with. I commend both parents because thier kid is worth more than any drug on this earth

CPS is quite possibly the single best example of how the government can take a noble, important & necessary function, and pervert it so much that it becomes almost pure, unadulterated evil. I don't have kids and don't know anyone directly who's dealt with CPS, but I worked with CPS somewhat directly when I was a firefighter, and saw just how evil they could be.

My children have been documented to have been sexually abused during a forensic interview, however the case was dismissed. That being said, and speaking from direct personal observation, some CPS workers and some court counselors are extremely dangerous and power hungry. If you did not just say what EVERY single parent with CPS issues doesn't actually grasp, no one ever can. These people have set a system in place that will, without fail, make whatever issues you are facing at the origin compound then explode to a perpetual state of increasing problems.
They are making monsters from otherwise, harmless minimal at most offending good hearted human beings who need nothing more than a bit of support. They, instead, impose their will on you, pretend to have authority of over you (read: they don't), and fancy themselves into parole agents. LOL. what is the criteria to be a CPS social worker? havebeen born? not much more than that. these people are fucking halfwits that, at least in tulare county, CA are more likely to be the targetted parents in a CPS case, but because they picked a 9-5 allows them to all remain behind a "blue shield" type of wall that if looked into would prolly unravel the system to the point of abolishment. the sad fact however, us parents, being the creatures of conformity that they bully us into believing we have no other choice but to be, try to comply, get scared, hope for leniency, dont fight back and end up in a world of drugs (to numb the pain from loss of a child), law violations (assaulting someone out of absolute rage from the obstinent nature of their auto response answers and constant dragging of feet when the PARENT asks for ANYTHING in return for their compliance) or so fucking depressed (is the 100% termination of parental rights not the same as the death of a child? youre god damn right it is.) And even after youve ran their treadmill of absolution to find no resolution other than the judges decision to permanently place with ANYONE but biological parents, who wouldnt be so callous and riddled with mental health issues you find yourself no longer fit to be the parent that, if they, CWS afforded you 30 days of counseling and half an oz of compassion, you could have righted the ship before CWS systematically destroyed it.

And this is the second time they put my 9-year-old in a mental hospital because she is lonely and scared and thinks that we have forgot about her. But now they're drugging her and I'm the bad parent. And my 7-year-old is nonverbal autistic she has nobody that understands her now. The foster parents are trying to get rid of her. Who knows where my little boy is. And my wife is still in rehab. Great work! Yes it is severely broken system with zero accountability for DHS CPS etc. Civil rights of parents and children are stomped on everyday I believe the system needs a complete overhaul it should be a family protection system where the children are taken for sexual, physical, emotional , or psychological abuse or the threat of imminent harm is truly present . Speaking on substance use,Most parents parenting their children that have substance use issues love their children very much and should have every chance to rehabilitate without their child being taken from them or parental rights taken away. if there's no threat of immediate harm which is what the law states is reason for removal in Oregon. In my case the threat of immediate harm was not present and although a sheriff , and 2 CPS noted that I was Sober, working a program, the children were safe, and were resting at home
at that time of their arrival, they removed my 3 adolescent kids based on the past (a brief relapse, which I had corrected myself) my concern is that the agency has zero accountability there's no real overseer to this program or agency. children and parents are often victimized and harmed by separation. when wanting to file a complaint I was told to complain to the same agency that had violated our rights. There is no complaint form to fill out or any due process of law. this is violation of Human and our Constitutional rights. When agencies neglect to go by their own policy. I'm a loving parent and my kids are strongly bonded to me, and the shame is that we will just have to wait and see what kind of damages this has cost them Thanks for your video

THANK YOU!!!! I have never had to deal with dps. However I have witnessed a friend who was put thru hell of years. What I witnessed watching and listening to what she was going through at the time made me so sick. I had no idea how much power we have given to this organization. With a few necessary circumstances, dps can literally kidnap your children! Especially if you have a case worker who is gunning for you. For whatever reason. My friends case worker had motivation to get her child permanently taken. In the end found out that she pretty much guaremteed the foster mom that she would end up being able to adopt the child. They have no right to use foster parents willing to help. Evil. Broke her heart and destroyed my friend. But most importantly, denied her child a happy, stable and healthy childhood. Trying to keep her promise, dps intentionally designed the reunification criteria to be almost impossible. So much more, just can't get everything in this comment. THANK YOU SIR FOR GETTING CREATIVE WITH THE NEED TO TAISE FUND'S FOR THESE CASES. GOD BLESS

They have put my siblings in danger on numerous occasions and have also sent them to bed without food, because my brother with autism didn’t like the meat with nachos. My mum has been doing everything in her power to try and get the kids back, and has been following what they’re saying but they haven’t done anything in return for us. They only took the kids form mum because she has ended up in hospital quite a bit, but hasn’t been in hospital for months now!! The system is messed up. 18:00 They are trained to go out and act friendly and tell people they are their to help most of the time to lie to them. And then wait until the next day or two and write what happened from memory, and their biased opinion that they are aloud to do because of the whole profit for hire, a large portion of cps workers are also convicted felons, alot of times for child abuse long before they worked in cps. The state has no legal recourse except in extrigent circumstances which has a narrow scope although they don't think so nor do they use it that way. However the supreme court has found many times that they are not worthy of Temporary immunity most of the time, especially if they purposefully made things up in order to deprive the parents from their property (children) which is a crime, conspire to manipulate courts and other peoples to do the same, act in bad faith which is as easy to prove as catching them lying and doing all the rest because that is how you prove it. And along those lines. I wish someone like you was in upstate NY. Not to mention alot of times doctors, lawyers, and judges, are related too and or friends with the foster parents and profit from them its all one big corrupt dirty mess. So you say your a private attorney do you mean you have your own private firm or business, or are you referring to Private as in not a member of the bar but another private association?

@@brianmayer28 I'm really lost right now. I cannot believe this is happening to my family. April or 2020 my children were taken for indecating behaviors of drug use. Its been a battle to say the least.
I've done all that has been asked of me by CPS and have remained sober since November 15th 2021. They terminated my rights, I appealed it but lost the appeal. My attorney was awful. He kept things from me. Disclosed inaccurate information in my appeal brief. Completed and submitted brief without my consent or knowledge. Even though I repeatedly asked about the brief. November 15h he filed. I found out January 17th. My husband who is currently incarsarated called to tell me his attorney contacted him concerned about statements made in my brief by my attorney. March 1st, again he failed to tell me the appeal brief was denied. I believe I have grounds to file motion for reconsideration based on Ineffective Assistance of Appellate Counsel. Also, it is my right to a fair trial. How can I have a fair trial if some unfounded facts where discussed in trial, which created a bad option of me by the judge? This case has so much foul play its unreal. I really need help. Guidance, anything.
Waht your doing is amazing and is something I am very intrigued by. I have a passion for helping parents in my situation. HOW CAN WE PUT AN END TO CPS CORRUPTION? I know of a similar situation in Illinois as your first case. Apparently in Illinois a parent is not given representation and DCFS always gets whatever they want by saying that court should err on side of children. I personally went through it myself also many years ago. But here is a father losing his kids and DCFS wants to adopt them out. Kids are 8 and 11. Father is not an addict (other than Pot) but mother is. Father and mother are separated. Mother is with another addict and had 3 more kids, all taken away. Father wants kids but DCFS won't let him see them because of allegations from mother. In Illinois, an allegation is all DCFS needs. Proof or evidence is not necessary. Always been that way. Grandparents, great aunt, and great gmother wants to adopt kids. But DCFS wants no family guardianship. Family has no drug problems but family does not have lots of money either. Foster family denied medical care when one child got 3rd degree burns. DCFS does not care about that. How does family get guardianship?

First of all each state needs to vet its employees to make sure their caseworkers and supervisors are qualified for their jobs. I persuaded the Illinois governor to make change happen in the early 90’s after years of harassment by my abusive narcissistic ex. I sent a hand written report made by a supervisor written in 4th grade language to the state governor of Illinois. A state wide survey was conducted which found most employees were not qualified for their jobs. 2 supervisors in the state only had a HS diploma when the jobs calls for a Master’s degree. Change was made as the result of the state survey. The results came as no surprise to me.

Aloha Brian, this was a really interesting video, thank you for that. I have an open case with CPS in Hawaii. I paid a local attorney $30K flat fee to handle this case, which should have been an open and shut case, and we lost at trial. Even the attorney was shocked, an appeal was filed but I"m still tied up with this as they still have my child in foster care. The abuse of authority ramped up when the trial ended, they began denying my participation in my daughters medical appointments, really limiting our contact, not providing me with the services they require to get my daughter back. Services were ordered Aug. 9, 2019, first contact was made with me to begin services Jan. 27, 2020. I already located, paid for, and completed the services before they made contact to do so and they still won't give my child to me. The attorney will not do anything to protect us and I"m filing my own motion to dismiss. So, I know you can not practice law in Hawaii, I was wondering if you have time to just advise me on whether or not I'm filing this motion correctly. Thanks Lifeislafter4@gmail.com

Four years ago my granddaughter was taken from her mother by CPS. Beth has someone in her apartment, that was not suitable(the father said he was okay) but he wasn't. Simply being in the apartment was deemed enough to take the minor child away from her mother, per CPS. Minor child was put in the home of mother's friend for a year then put in the baby daddy's home that he shared with his sister and her husband. Up to date, March 6, 2021,Beth has done everything asked of her, yet minor child is still in that home. Minor child said she was touched inappropriatly by her father-CPS dismissed it because only hearsay, the latest being hurt physically by uncle-dismissed for lack of evidence (bruise on arm with thumbprint impression). CPS dismissed case for lack of evidence. The judge and CPS say minor child should stay in home of the very people she is accusing of harming her. Layer we have filed a motion to investigate guardians care of child. That's where we stand, to date.

I currently have a cps case. I've had my daughter back in my home for 5 months. Got her home in 2.5 months. I've worked my butt off and jumped through he hoops. I've been clean since the took her. My relapse lasted about 4 days, so I was lucky there was intervention so soon. They were right to take her. HOWEVER, I have been told this entire time that my case would close in April. 6 months after family maintenance started. I can't find full time work because I have to go to classes every day for cps qnd have random drug testing and don't know until that day if I'll have to go test and only have a 4 hour window to test. They're under staffed so only open for 4 hours. Employers don't care for that.
I was just told they intend to push it out until August because I DONT HAVE FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT. But they're WHY I don't. I have classes they Sen me to during the weekdays so working graveyard and going to these groups and having to sleep would mean putting my daughter in a 24 hour daycare for 16-18 hours a day. Now they're suggesting I volunteer to put her BACK in foster care until I have a full time job and close the case. But I'm scared they'll say that my 1 year to get her back is up and adopt her out. I'm terrified. I can't sleep or eat. I hold my daughter and cry. I regret my mistakes DEEPLY. I know I made a horrible choice. But the ONLY. reason they took her to begin with was a neighbor called and said I leave her ALONE all the time and leave the house. Because she didn't realize my 17 year old was home when I'd go to the store or run an errand. That's the only time I'd leave, qnd I usually took her with me. I came home to LE and a social worker. 5 deputies hollering like I had beaten her. I only admitted to using the day prior because I was scared and wanted to be honest. The original accusations came back unfounded. I've been honest since day 1 and they've lied the entire time.

It’s crazy the hoops they expect you to jump thru and that you can’t be honest with them. They won’t call your job because that can jeopardize your employment. Sometimes we have to bend the rules a little bit….🤷🏽‍♀️ Not sure what state you’re in but the federal law is you have 22 months for permanency if you’re working the case plan. I hope that things worked out for you.

They were doing it by a judge but the final hearing we have asked to have a jury trial and since covid-19 there are no jury trials so they've been pushing off the court date which is giving my daughter time to get her act together and be clean. But I'm trying to figure out is she took over 40 drug test and the first year and never failed one of them three hair strands to nail beds and several urine drug screens and they were all negative only after the kids were physically abused in foster care my daughter did turn to drugs she is currently in rehab and in waiting to get out and then have her time to be clean was her civil rights violated because she did pass on a drug test in the beginning the first year

I’m dealing with cps because of a very serious investigation and they put a one year protection order against me and now the years up and there been no police contact I e worked full time and they are reapplying for another order with no new grounds to do it so now they are saying mental health and alcoholism but I’ve been sober a year and never had any issues with mental health.

Many attorneys are not knowledgeable with CPS law and do encourage you to comply with CPS. You need to find an attorney who will defend you and challenge the decisions made by CPS and while they are few and far between, they are out there. I can’t understand why these lawyers think that you’ll hire them to do what you can do on your own. Only pay for an attorney who will DEFEND your rights.

I refused to sign my sons medical records i cought the discharge nurse lying she said the form was for the school i read it and it said cps so i threw it back at her and said im angry with them i ain't signing it. I was complying till the social worker said racist shit and railroaded me from getting my son help into a partial program becouse actually he has been hitting me he even gave me black eyes and nose. I actually was reaching out for help he from family therapy and cps and police to help me with my son due to the fact we are not safe with him like this he needs mental health treatment but now it turned into me being investigated i do not even know the allegations to be honest but after reading his medical records they are not correct they say i was on meth when he was born i have never done meth in my entire life and it says he said i said lets fight and punched him i never did he is actually the one who said that and i think he admitted that but they typed it up wrong in his report so i really didn't want that held against me and it is actually not true i found this info while i requested his med due to the school asking me for it and i asked it be sent to me and i looked before i sent it good thing i did i had not had any intention to read it. Anyway the cys worker said we are going to take the race approach sense we noticed your son response to me is better and i am black woman so she basically said to me my biracial son cant be raised by me becouse im white wtf she put and brought up race and made this about race when infact i believe something health wise is going on because my son was all good even honored roll till covid lock downs and puberty and i noticed he snapps and brakes shit always around 7pm and no one will take this time into consideration and i can't get a sleep study or hormone test no one will approve it and the one problem we don't have right now is race and they are creating it i snapped at her over the race concvo and now im really up a creek this is a nightmare that i believe was created by the lockdwns of covid.

I am coming on your video because I am a disabled veteran and mother of four which means I don't have a lot of money and I couldn't afford a lawyer are quality legal representation. Me and my common law married husband our son was in foster care for 18 months and they went through three workers. Finally we were made to sign papers terminating our parental rights and neither of us had legal representation even though we had filed for legal representation and I even went to the judge to request a specific lawyer and which he signed the paper granting me that lawyer in front of me. But that day came and the lawyer for DHR was unaware of this and lie to my face and said I had no legal representation neither did my common-law husband. We were forced to sign life often documents with no legal representation then told not to appear in court the next day because it just be a rehearse of all the bad things they said about us in court the next day. That how I was not true they put in a new petition for both me and my common law husband to both pay $8,000 a piece in child support not to our son but to the county dhr. I'm a disabled veteran he has no job and they presented a new petition for a new court order and which we were told not to attend. That's violating my 14th amendment right and which almost died defending. This further called problems and they took my daughter and placed her with someone claiming to be my common law husband's aunt but she was of no blood relation and now this lady is in contempt of all nine court orders I just have no money to fight the system. Please help very respectfully JL Gonzalez

I was an abused kid in California. CPS knew, did interviews, took photos of my bruised little body. I was being beaten 2-3 times per day on average by my mothers boyfriend. Two CPS workers came to our house, the boyfriend answered the door, told them right to their face that he was going to beat me and my sister worse than ever, and slammed the door in their faces. He then beat me and my sister with a thick leather strap until he felt done.
I never heard a peep from CPS again. They never followed up or took any action to help us, and me and my sister wanted out of that house BAD.

Dear sir, I thankyou for shining some light into a very antiquated, draconian and extremely dark part of the system, I am in the UK, similar law regarding the rights acts, I will be following you in your progressive way to shake up the outdated wrongful outcomes of which happen way too often, children in care are more likely harmed physical or mentally, equally the scarring is purely for the LA, s pockets, it's a bad club that needs to be addressed, I am going to be following your good self, I also will now be contacting the press for blatant victimisation and deformation of character, hope I'm making some sense, have a toddler in supervised contact due to a misdemeanour also historical evidence no need for it to be made admissible, also 6mths pregnant, have to see the LA for care plan v. Soon, any advice would be greatly appreciated, I appreciate you are incredibly busy but, more power to you, Thankyou, JX

Cps keeps showing up. They called and said someone complained my kid smelled like cat pee and had lice. My kid doesn't smell like cat pee and she had lice 5 years ago when their was a classroom outbreak. 🤣 They have showed up twice since yesterday, each time I've turned them away. No warrant, no entry. My home is clean and my kids are well taken care of, so bother someone else who needs your help. I don't have anything to hide but I know my parental rights and I know I forgo my 4th amendment right when they step through my door. My kids have been instructed to film any interaction and just say "no, I don't have to talk to you". This agency does nothing but overstep with power they simply do not have. 🤣

    • @daniellethurman3508
      @daniellethurman3508 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Wait?! Lice??? Someone called CPS on you about your kid having head lice, and CPS actually took that as a serious allegation? That shit spreads like wildfire in school age children. And anyone who has ever dealt with it, any medical professional, anyone, that really knows, knows that has nothing to do with cleanliness or neglect. (although not treating it could be considered neglect-however, it’s one of those things that can easily be reinvested especially if a parent doesn’t understand how to eradicate it properly. Definitely not child abuse…) This cps power trip is unreal….

I know of someone involved in a case similar to your 2nd example many years ago. Father was accused of molestation when Father was in Illinois and child was in Arizona. Father had not seen child in 6 years. The mother was in the Army and had a scam going on where she would make allegations for money. Then later the father had custody and daughter wanted to go back with mother because she was not getting along with stepmother. Daughter had been through DCFS cases at least 4 times and knew how the system worked. Daughter made allegations, daughter taken from father, no evidence, just allegations. Police did NOT believe her. Then stepmother did the same thing to father because that is just what you do in divorce/custody cases. Again, no evidence. DCFS placed a 50 year thing on fathers record which now affects 3rd wife's grandchildren more than 30 years later. Father has been around kids all their lives with no problems. Can you reopen the case and expunge that?
