They energy of the music makes up for it. They are insanely loud and powerful live. But yes the vocals kinda bug me sometimes. Especially cuz he sings out of his range in studio. Still my fav band
He's getting too old to drum and sing at the same time. Check out their House Of Strombo live performance at the very end they bring on the Beeches drummer and the vocals get way better when he's not drumming and singing.

unfortunate to see the live versions sound much worse than the records - was hoping for better sound quality. sometimes bands try and go raw live and it's just not as effective in my humble opinion. Watch the 1975 perform "People" live - that's how you up the quality of a record.

I love this band but i feel really disappointed whenever a song gets ruined live by bad vocals. The Instrumentation is pretty good live though.
