      Yes! I think you're the first person to recognise the design, it's one of my all time favourite things on the internet. I really like Martin's music anyway, but the machine is amazing

      All the Ghiblis are great in their own way, but Totoro is the one I always return to

    Hi. Love your videos. Really helping me a lot. Thank you. I bought the car suction tool from Amazon on your link and it holds my coaster for about 3 seconds then it just drops off. I applied wax resist to the bottom and moistened the sucker. Could there be something I am doing wrong?

    Good video. Yes, I was wondering about stamping mugs. I tried to use a signature stamp on the bottom, but that was a mess. What is your stamp made of, metal? Any tips on stamping (or using your signature) would be appreciated

      Mine is laser cut acrylic. The real trick is getting the clay at the right level of dryness. Too soft and it just makes a mess, too dry and it doesn't leave a mark at all

    Gorgeous! How did you get it off the bat without warping? 🤯

    Did you have to trim the bottom of the coasters at all? Or do anything else to prevent from scratching a table's surface?

    Hi there. When you drip wax resist on a part of a pot you don’t want it on will the glaze be effected and if so what can you do to fix this. Thanks very much

    • @OldForgeCreations
      @OldForgeCreations  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It will, and the only way to be completely sure it has been removed is to rebisque the piece. You can scrape the wax off and you might get away with it, but the glaze can have issues even if it looks fine going into the kiln, so the safest way is to bisque fire again to completely remove it.

    How does go blue ?? I'm baffled

    • @OldForgeCreations
      @OldForgeCreations  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's the chemistry of the glaze. The raw ingredients are a different colour to the melted glass they form in the firing
