This canvas does look a lot better quality than the ones I'm using. I like how you paint a little and have a bit of discussion on what you did or how you did it. The way you did around its eyes made it so realistic.

Ah! there is a detailed traceable to make it much easier AND you can keep it more simple/less detail if you like. Also I find when I challenge myself, I may not keep the final art, but I learn something from it when I look back 💕🤗

No worries! I show the colors used at 5:15 , you could just paint it all shades of what ever green you have in your studio. You could paint it with just black and white like I did with sunflower the cow ( no need to have color) no pressure, up to you 🎨🤗

What does the medium do for the paint?
It has been awhile since I painted this one 😍 I am guessing I added mat medium to some of my paint. This makes the paint more transparent for glazing color over the dry paint. (it is acrylic medium with no pigment / color in it) Sometimes I just add a little water, sometimes the paint is already transparent enough. - Let me know if this isn't what you are asking 🎨🤗
When you say “value” do you mean the light colors versus the darker shades?
If it is in a specific part of the video, let me know at what time in the video, in case I missed spoke ❤️👍 If you are referring to the title, yes, “values” are the tints and shades of a color. Example: the background is a very dark vale. There are lighter values where the light is shining on the frog. Does this help? 🎨🤗
