He also did an album of quite different music (Swing music from the likes of Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr, etc...) and followed this up with a live concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. One of Sinatra's musicians heard the album and mentioned it to Sinatra's family. They were impressed enough to allow a 'virtual duet' between Robbie & Frank Sinatra.

"Me And My Monkey", "Love Supreme", "Feel" - also entirely amazing performances from that Knebworth concert. He played for over a million people in 3 days across 3 concerts, each performance just as epic as the last. He started off in the huge band Take That in the 90s but got frustrated with not being given enough lead vocals so left the band to pursue a solo career and boy did he hit the ground running. He's from Burslem/Tunstall in is now the City of Stoke on Trent, famous for Wedgewood fine china pottery, but now lives with his wife and kids in LA, he can walk down the street without even being recognised. I recommend the entire Live at Knebworth concert if you want to see him perform Angels live. He uses it as the closer to that concert and it's absolutely fantastic, just like the rest of the show. But there's just something special about Robbie performing Angels in front of a British crowd (yes, he is indeed British himself). The crowd could have performed the entire song on their own. Some other recommendations (not necessarily from that show): * No Regrets * Let Me Entertain You * Feel * Advertising Space And then basically the entire Swings Both Ways album. I absolutely love Robbie's foray into swing music.

Everybody recommends the Knebworth one. Which is totally fine. Two more recommendations from me: Cologne in 2001 (audience is louder in the mix than Knebworth) and Live 8 in 2005 (which shows his stardom, because it isn't his concert and a neutral crowd).

Robbie is one of those artists that are better experienced live. Watch Feel, let me entertain you or Angels live, you will be blown away
