Ledwall update

This is a short video with the latest update from Mark Sanders.

Another project you got me interested in! What measurement did you use to space the led strips? I know leds are 1.65 centre to centre so what did you decide on centre to centre of your strips? Nice one

Hey James.. long time no speak. Hope you are well.. my build is very very rough ! From edge to edge of the led was about 22.5mm. I did the same measurements down. If your happy with centre measurements then that will work too. So same distance side to side as well as up and down. It's 30 leds wide and 8 down. The code from the github does need editing to suit. Also the font needs changing. So download my version and edit the font and dimensions to match and your good to go.

Cine-Lights yeah all good thanks mate, hope you are well too. Was intending to use your version, got the older version all up and running just on a long strip of leds to check I can get it all working so will set about making it up when I can find some time! Yeah all good thanks..., very very busy at the mo.. finding it hard to find the time for all the projects i have half done, And also learning about new boards.. slowly getting there though. bought any new cubes lately ?

Nah no new cubes, the ones I do have are on a wardrobe gathering dust! Same as you mate, busy and very little time to work on anything these days. Done the moodlite project, 7 segment clocks, Rubik’s cube solving robot and a few other little projects but that’s about it. Keep thinking about the 12x12 rgb cube but not bothered yet, too time consuming! Got the bits to do your magic mirror when I can find the time, on the look out for some kind of interactive table to build if you know of any.

I would like to ask if you thought you could combine this project with your VFD Clock / Vu meter Review. Having collected it on the factory matrix 8x64-96, so that it can be placed under the TV, and enjoy color music and equalizer. Thank.
