By the way; here is the route! www.strava.com/routes/3272841413416640678 I suggest doing it early in the morning as the Pacific Highway and Burns Bay Road section can be busy with cars during peak hour. You can swap that out with Gore hill Freeway bike path and the Epping Road bikepath for some portions :)
Thank you Josh for posting these videos. Got into riding because of your videos and finding that there are cycling groups to join. Keep up the good work and more power to your channel 👍
Its great to see some rides around town being mapped out/shown, so there is somewhere to go, even if its not fast, you can at least spin the legs and get some fresh air/mental health time. Cheers for the Vid, Happy Birthday Nicole
a ride before work? I have enough problems getting up on time for work! Looks like a great ride with friends though. That Lark mic looks so much smaller than the RODE. Seeing a number of people use them now. Competition is great! 6:12 nice pastie 7:18 redeemed yourself there, I'll give your tour guide hat back 10:54 nice angle for showing a brown item Happy birthday Nicole!
Hahaha, just build it into your routine and it will be easy! Lark Mic is great and works really well for its size. If you come to Sydney I will be your tour guide :)
Josh you can turn right off the Anzac Bridge the follow the water around to the Pyrmont Bridge. A little nicer than the stop start direct route through Pyrmont
Its great riding around exploring the CBD. A few years back I stayed in a hotel in Darling Habour, Sydney Harbour bridge out one window and Anzac Bridge out another (it was a penthouse gig). Did a bit of mooching around during the days, fun spot. This reminded me of that trip, cheers 🍻
I have the same setup with the ace pro put the mic and dead cat on the inside of your clothes and the tiny magnet on the outside. Being under your clothes it never going to fall off and get lost Also the small magnet isn’t noticeable put some black tape I over the white logo on the magnet
Hey Josh could you potentially make a video about all your gears like helmet, shoes etcs it’ll be helpful guide for beginner riders! Love your vids from US
Awesome! I hope you have a good trip, the route is in the description of the video. I suggest doing it early morning as the Burns Bay Road section can be quite busy with cars. (The rest of the route is mainly bike path)
What's the optimal way to get to Town Hall from Lane Cove as a commute - would it be going through Drummoyne? Is there an easy way to plan this route using any online tools? Thanks mate!
Hi mate, I would say Epping road (cycleway) > Gore hill freeway (cycleway) > Slade Street > Brook Street > West Street > (variety of bike paths in North Sydney > Harbour bridge > Kent Street cycleway. Best way I’ve found to plan routes is Strava or Garmin Connect. You can turn on the route to favour bike paths, or turn in heat map to see what other people do

Send me your invoice already

Thanks very much! Enjoy your cycling journey and stay safe!

Thank you mate, there’s a few more routes like this. I should probably make a video to showcase them 😜

Cool chilled vid, these are great. Keep up the great work Josh
Thank you :) glad you are enjoying the videos
Happy Birthday!
Amazing vids! Really enjoy watching while drinking a coffee!
Thank you! You must be in a different time zone, else it’s a late coffee for you 😅
@@joshkwan over 16 000km (CET) between Sydney and me :D
Fun ride!
The view from the top of Gladesville Bridge is one of my favourites.
Love your weather app - a finger point to the sky. It’s probably more accurate too. Another top vid. Thanks
Better than the BOM right now 😅
Thanks for watching mate!
Sick vid! Basically the 7 bridges running route which I do once in a while and I’ve had good at Creasian before, so good
Yep! With Woolich added on. Running routes inspiring me to make cycling routes, that’s something I didn’t expect 😅
Very pleasant. Love the Anzac Bridge.
Beautiful day to be out on a bike
Josh you can turn right off the Anzac Bridge the follow the water around to the Pyrmont Bridge. A little nicer than the stop start direct route through Pyrmont
Yes I love that route along the water. Beautiful spot through Pyrmont. I’ll have to redo the route another day and include that!
Yo the music is a vibe bro. Giving off sonic vibes.
i've been always wanted to try the Lark M2! sound quality during ride sounds amazing!
It’s quite good. The best part is how small and light it is. Barely notice it on me
Man! I woul dhave loved this ride
When you come visit I’ll take you on all the scenic rides 🤓

Sounds like some fond memories :)
Glad I could show you round Sydney city
Love your vids!
Thanks!
7 bridges is my go to route when I haven't planned a long run or short ride, and easy to add the bay run in for some extra kms
Scenic, mostly bike path and also quite hilly. It’s definitely a workout
Another good vid! Another day in the life would be sick!
Judging by how much everyone else loved the last one, I must make another!
Maybe weekend in the life :)
Josh: Cycling is about friendship and the social aspect
Me as i watch this video doing a solo indoor trainer ride: 😮
Next time I’ll film with the 360 camera and you can watch it with a VR headset for full immersion
I have the same setup with the ace pro

That’s a good idea, I’ll give that a go next time
Probably works even better for reducing sound
@@joshkwan Plus you can’t see the mic 👍
Where is Creasion located??? I remember when the cafe was at Alberta st in the cbd…
Eden Street in north Sydney. A little bit of a walk up the hill but well worth it!
Hey Josh could you potentially make a video about all your gears like helmet, shoes etcs it’ll be helpful guide for beginner riders!

Hey mate, that is a good idea. I’ve thought about making a video like that for a while so maybe it’s about time that I do 🤓
Maybe a new series: From XXX to Sydney CBD
Good idea :)
oh beautiful bridges mate, I am going to visit Sydney in 2 weeks time, cant wait to try your route! is it in your strava?

@@joshkwan nice one. anyway do you have any suggestion on any open ride that I can join around 13-18th Oct?
Wednesday Rapha ride from Taylor Square at 6am
Thursday Pastries ride from Centennial park at 6:30am
@@joshkwan nice! thanks mate

I thought I was the only wuss who walked down the steps at Nth Syd end of the Bridge.
We all wuss’s 🫡
wahhh thats the same mic ishowspeed used in his seasia trip 😲🤯
That’s where the similarities between myself and iShowSpeed end 🤣🤣🤣
Bro Josh, do you have idea if I can bring my wahoo kickr core in Australia? Do you have friends import their wahoo kickr and haven't got any problems?
I don’t see why not? You will have to use a wall plug adaptor though
@@joshkwan thank you bro. I mean if there will be no issue in the Australian customs because of battery etc., ?
Sorry cannot say I’ve had any experience with this.
@@joshkwanHowever, is there someone there with wahoo trainer? If so, I can bring it without any problem too.
@@dave_mariano Zero idea mate. Better off going on reddit or some other online forum.
