As like the other people who have commented i thoroughly enjoyed the video here and the sights of Sydney and keep up the variety of your presentation! Cool music choice
Thanks for the early morning sight seeing tour Josh! I normally cycle under the bridge at the Rocks and thru Circular Quay to Woolloomoolo at that time of the morning
Nice Video Josh. I love riding around our city of Sydney especially on a Sunday morning when traffic is almost non-existant. I did an early morning video ride during covid and the city was sparkling clean and empty so I got some great footage of our lovely foreshore and iconic buildings for the various and varied vantage points. Keep up the good work.
Weekday riding during Covid was awesome too. Because the clear ways were still observed but the traffic was almost non existent Thanks for watching the vids!
Love your videos Josh. If possible would you be able to do some more footage of the southern approach to the harbour bridge going north. Believe or not I have never used that bike path. I have used the roadway a few times during cycling events though. Thanks Mate and keep up the awesomeness!!
Josh fantastic clip. You really have that perfect flare for putting it all so beautifully together. For me total enjoyment to watch. Sydney looks so beautiful and for such a busy city the tranquility to be found gives it a real richness. Fantastic photos along the way too. I think you should re-evaluate your career path. You should be a cinema photographer or something in the visual arts.
Thanks very much mate. I really enjoyed filming this video as well as putting it together. I think most cities if you get up early enough, you can find a nice peaceful period ☺️ Hahahaha whilst I do love creating vlogs and taking photos, I think it best remain as a side hobby, lest I rely on it for my livelihood and it becomes stressful
I really enjoy your vids. Back in the early 2000s I used to visit Sydney regularly so I see massive changes around the city since then. These days I visit Melbourne more( from NZ) as I have a daughter living there. I love the cycling culture and infrastructure there.
Some say Sydney peaked in 2000 during the olynpics and when we had the monorail 🥲 I need to visit Melbourne, I have alot of people saying I need to check it out.
Thanks mate! It’s a fantastic camera. A bit of a shame it’s become so expensive on the grey market. I’m thankful I bought mine years ago before the hype
Wow that’s super generous of you! I really appreciate it. Any money I make on the channel gets invested back into the videos (software, camera equipment etc) so thanks for the donation 🙏🫡 Thanks for enjoying the vids ☺️
Loved this chill vlog, I can tell you had the time to frame up the static shots beautifully riding and shooting solo. I feel like this is a vlog I’ve had in my ideas 💡 book for years but never executed as all my training sessions are aimed at improving performance 🥹 You really did the locations justice with awesome shots, facts & real time naturalness 🙌 On the odd occasion I ride with a mirrorless camera I like the to ride with a soomom all round fixing strap that stops the peak design strap & camera from sliding around. Although you mustn’t really have that prob✌️
Thanks mate! Similar to you, a lot of my focus goes to training or group riding. So it’s a nice little switch up to go for a solo ride with no real aim or goal other than sightseeing. I will check out the Soomom strap, my set up only works if I ride very relaxed and don’t get out of the saddle.
@@joshkwan What time do you usually sleep? I'm a classic night owl but the few times I had an early start I do feel more productive too. Maybe I need to do that a bit more...
Usually try and get in bed at 10:30pm… but not good at sticking to that. Through highschool and uni I was a massive night owl. I’d love to stay up and play video games. But current lifestyle forced a change 🤪
We truely are. I know Sydney siders love to complain, but I reckon everyone needs to go outside, look at the sunrise from our beautiful coastline and recognise that we are definitely the lucky ones. My boys are thankfully very happy to sit at the cafe all morning long ☺️
Great vlog yet again. One day I followed the coast as much as could from Bondi through to The Maritime Museum, it was a fun morning out. Your bunch rides are great content but it doesn't hurt to fly solo occasionally 😉 👍🍻 I missed the Nero show where you featured but tbh I've lost a bit of interest in that channel 🤷♂️
That’s a beautiful coastal route, but also very hilly 🤣 I think I’ll try and do the occasional solo ride. It’s quite relaxing and a good way to clear my head.
The cycle haters smash bottles on bike lanes. The bike lane along Captain Cook Drive to Kurnell almost always has at least one smashed bottle on it. Keep your eyes pealed for glass on that ride
@ if you watch the Cade Media bikepacking series, Lawrence Carpenter caries the camera on his back using a specific kind of strap. I might just try that one. Just gotta make sure that I don't crash lol. I'm also considering getting a small mirrorless but I'd still keep the zooms because you can't shoot birds with a small lens unless you're a ninja.
The strap they use is a 3 point strap. You can only use it while stationary, unless you’re very goood at fiddling with stuff while riding (and also riding with one hand) A good option to transport the camera, and I did think about it for a while. My camera is small enough it doesn’t need the stabilisation strap though.
Hehe, the doggos on that thin sidewalk, side by side,, with their leashes crossed - too cute.
Hahaha it is cute. Makes me want to get a third one, but that would be way too much work 😝
Nice video! Really enjoyed your photography 👌
As like the other people who have commented i thoroughly enjoyed the video here and the sights of Sydney and keep up the variety of your presentation! Cool music choice
Thank you very much! Music choice can be super hard sometimes so thanks for appreciating it ☺️
You do a great job Josh. Great video. Really showing our beautiful city in great light. Thank you for your channel.
Thanks so much :) glad you enjoyed the vlog
Always great cycling videos, really calm and relax music, it reminds me of the good old days back at UTS 20 years ago.
Thank you :)
Glad I could take you back a few decades. The city has changed a lot, but there’s a lot of character which also has stayed the same.
Thanks for taking us around. Such beautiful photos you took. Made me miss Sydney.
Thanks very much for watching the vlog :)
One of your best yet. Sometimes the easy rolls are the best 👌
Thank you for watching. I agree with you.
Smiles instead of miles ☺️
Josh, nothing but impressive, I do forget some of the brilliant Sydney locations which you have reminded me of !!
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the early morning sight seeing tour Josh! I normally cycle under the bridge at the Rocks and thru Circular Quay to Woolloomoolo at that time of the morning
Yea that is a great route. If I had more time I would have included that

I will keep it in mind mate!
Thanks for watching :)
what a beautiful and peaceful video! Just sitting and relaxing
Thank you Kristina! It was a beautiful morning on the bike
This city inspires me to make content ☺️

bro!!! them landscape shots are SICK!
Thank you bro! 🙏
I still love photography but I love cycling more 🤪
Great casual ride and video Josh. Your song choice is really on point mate. You've nearly convinced me to get that Fuji X100f!
Thanks mate! It’s a fantastic camera. A bit of a shame it’s become so expensive on the grey market. I’m thankful I bought mine years ago before the hype
Hey Josh, Great Vlog. Cheers 😻
Wow that’s super generous of you! I really appreciate it.

Thanks for enjoying the vids ☺️
Great video mate. Love this aspect of urban cycling, chilling and just exploring what the city has to offer.
Yes! So much to see, architecture, nature and just everyday life. It’s great :)

Great Sydney showcase
Thank you for watching :)
Wow Josh, those pics are seriously good👍
Thank you!! 🙏🙏🙏
Just a bit of fun, and a way to get the creative juices flowing
They're on point, bro.
So chill. I'm amazed at how much you can do before work! Also you definitely get your tour guide hat back!
I wake up pretty early! Most days around 5-5:30am
I love getting a lot done at the start of the day. Makes me feel productive haha

Nice day for a casual ride mate. We all need some downtime to ride solo and enjoy our beautiful harbour ❤️
Solo ride is often rare for us social butterflies. So I’m glad I could enjoy the sunrise and beautiful scenery this morning.
Love watching your channel, over in Perth wishing we had a few more site to see like Sydney
Thank you! I’ve heard that Perth is a bit of a cycling gem too!
@ it’s got lots of great cycle paths, and new dedicated lanes get added along main routes which is great!
youre a superstar!
Thank you :)))
I rode across pyrmont bridge for my first ebike commute and stopped to take a photo, it really is so nice. I had no idea it moved though lol
Pretty spectacular view hey! We live in such a beautiful city
love this id love to go for a ride with you
Thanks Bob! Sydney is an inspiring city and it makes me want to get out there and ride my bike!
Nice one!
Thank you :)
Amazing video mate keep it up
Thanks for watching!
Should have rode down to McDougall St at Kirribilli for the Jacarandas in bloom. Missed opportunity!
That’s a great spot! Especially this time of the year. I actually went there last week and took photos 🫢
We are so lucky to live in such an amazing city. The Westies look very well behaved. Not sure my Wilbur would let me have coffee.

Blues point, where I used to go for NYE under 18 😂 great spot tho!
Hahahahaha likewise :) that feels like a long time ago 🤪
Damn I miss Sydney!
I think no matter where you go Sota, you always find the way to make the best of it. Can’t wait to see your next adventures
Great video - capturing harbour bridge! What bike do you ride?
Trek Emonda SLR!
Is this an ad to live in Sydney ;)? Lovely vid!
It’s a pretty good city 🫢
That being said I would mind exploring some others on my bike

Love your videos man, what camera strap you are using? 🤔
Peak design is the name of the brand, they have a few variants of the strap I am using.
You should try the Newcastle overnight ride.
Haha I hear that’s very soon, unfortunately I’m going on holiday this weekend so I’ll miss it this year.
@ ooh, enjoy.
Sunrise at West Head.
Probably one of the most picturesque spots in Sydney. But also 50km away!! That’s an early start

Barangaroo Reserve 😍😍
Barangaroo is S tier
Hate those green cycle lanes. Not sure what they put in it but it feels rough to ride on.
I think my main issue is all the debris and also they put all the utility covers in the bike lane 🫠
The cycle haters smash bottles on bike lanes. The bike lane along Captain Cook Drive to Kurnell almost always has at least one smashed bottle on it. Keep your eyes pealed for glass on that ride
Do you have video on msgong ride?
Sorry mate, I didn’t ride MS Gong this year. But if you go all the way to the start of my channel, I made an MS Gong video two years ago.
Come out to parra park 🚲
Yesss I need to go back. There’s a group that do laps on Tuesday morning. Been meaning to join
@ yeah I think it’s the park bike group they go hard it’s a good turn out usually
Are you ever gonna travel interstate and check out the roads in other places?
I’d live to go to Melbourne and do some riding down there. Or Adelaide.
Just haven’t found the time to do it yet
Hey josh. Did you do the gong ride this year?
No I didn’t, but I’ll try and do it next year. It looked awesome this year
What camera strap are you using?
Peak Design!
Is any of Sydney actually flat? I just wanna do some zone 2 on eternally flat roads lol 😵😵
Sorry but it is not flat. Every direction has hills
Bay Run laps is fairly flat and good for zone 2. The loop is 7kms,
W
I'd love to do this. I just need a better way to carry my fat camera.
I’ve got a larger camera and found it too hard to ride around with 🥲 settled for using the Fujifilm and just shooting jpegs
