    He's make a good bongo drummer.
    Such majestic, observant animals though aren't they? And their sense of balance is amazing. How they're able to sit and stand on beams and small areas with ease.

      To: @davidtsmith33 - Astonishing is it not. The circumference of the pillar can not be much more than the length of the foot but they are so confident in their ability that they do not even need to look where they place their feet.
      Ha, ha! I have to chuckle to myself when I see these 'quadrupeds' walking freehand on a tightrope whilst it takes many years of training and select specimens for we 'accomplished' bipeds to achieve such results.

There's a video on here of a gorilla breaking the glass trying to merk a little girl just because she beat her chest playfully. In the wild just looking a gorilla in the eyes would cause him to end u, so don't be under the impression that they're peace loving creatures, gorillas are extremely aggresive and territorial beasts of nature.

    I love how much he's turning into his daddy. 🥰 I would dare say he's even more silly and entertaining. I'm so impatient to see how he will be as a father. To me, he's learned from the most unique, empathetic, playful, silly, protective, observant (and many more qualities) silverback I've ever seen and adore. I love watching how much Kiyo is absorbing, learning, copying and has taken in so much from Shabani. It's such a beautiful thing to watch.❤❤❤

      @davidvanderkin9324 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      You may love watching them but if you could "see" then you would know how sad it is for them to be prisoners of this tiny concrete prison. All the gorillas look to thin and the monkeys look unhealthy and a lot of hair loss. They are bored and stressed daily. There is tension everyday between all the groups . The behavior of the gorilla says it all about how he is feeling. They are not happy or content. Locked up isn't where they want to be nor should be. The zoo only has them because the gorillas are the bread and butter for the zoo. The gorillas are the main attraction people want to see at zoo. Life for these gorillas isn't a happy or good life , it's quite sad . If you look into there eyes you will "see" the sadness they hold. How do you think you would feel if you were a prisoner ( not of your own actions) in a concrete jungle that was way to small while adding more to the groups and being gawked at daily by loud people? There isn't anything to stimulate their mind and everyday is the same over and over . Boredom, stresses them all . The tension will never stop for any of them. The zoo's aren't keeping them to help them (as they claim) they aquire them because it means more profit.

    I know this is probably random af, but my favorite xmen has been nightcrawler. After watching these male Silverback gorillas. Nah, beast is definitely favorite now. He is seriously a Silverback but sophisticated and highly intelligent. Yeah NC can teleport, but beast can swing just as fast. Plus dude can pound the tar out of people. Yeah, random as hell thought. Good video

      One gorilla can easily beat up 4 chimps at once , I assure you that is not anxiety. Gorillas are no where near as aggressive as chimps but that should not be confused with fear or anxiety.

    Primates as well as a variety of other animals have bee found to have clinical depression. There is just too much that could be done these days
    Do you show them their own videos?? I’ve seen other places do that and even owners of pets like birds - parrots face time each other look it up

    Am I the only one who finds this video with gorillas disturbing? It seems like zoos are more focused on entertainment than animal welfare. Gorillas and chimpanzees are natural enemies, and reports show that chimps can attack young gorillas. The stress on the gorilla's face here is undeniable, even from a distance. Are the zoo professionals not aware of this, or are they intentionally causing stress to make the gorillas more active for visitors?

    • @msantoferreira
      @msantoferreira 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Even in separate enclosures, the sight and presence of each other cause significant stress for gorillas, as their survival instincts kick in. This constant stress is harmful and cruel.

    Gorillas are amazing. I'm always astounded by their ability to balance and their fearlessness when it comes to heights. At 4:05 Kiyomasa is standing on top of that column, probably a good 30 feet above the ground, not holding on to anything, and he's rapidly drumming away and shifting his feet, without a worry about falling. Very few humans could get away with that but to gorillas it's nothing.

    The amount of stress Kiyomasa showed on his platform was stunning. His discomfort regarding his noisy and belligerent neighbors was obvious. I was surprised that gorillas had to live in such a noisy environment (concrete floor, echoing rooms), it seems so poles apart from their habitat....

    As someone who has spent alot of time in prison, I know when I'm looking at a yard of incarceration. The behaviours shown and the way people physically interact with their own thought's. Definitely just witnessed some mentally ill people and get laughed at. And in a bigger way it looked like metaphor for our own tedious lives.

      If you knew anything about chimps, you would understand why. Male chimps are very aggressive. They will even wage all out wars and raiding parties on other tribes.hell females have to give birth away from their tribe and keep a distance from them till the babies are a few months old as the males will kill it to induce heat in the females
