Which was your favourite 'Indiana Jones' game? 😇🕹👌 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= More from 1987: tinyurl.com/1987-C64-GAMES My Top Picks: tinyurl.com/CCGS-BEST-GAMES
I remember seeing the arcade version when I was a kid and the SOUND that was coming out of it just blew me away. The music alone was worth playin on the 64 :)
The only Indiana Jones games I've invested significant time playing are the Lucasarts games. Man those are good! I do remember spending money on this in the arcade though. Happy times!
Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis for the Commodore Amiga has to be one of my very favourite adventure games of all time - no doubt I'll get around to doing a video someday, all being well 😇🕹️👌
I remember ordering this from a mail order company and waited it with baited breath. I was a big Indy fan. Months passed and I had almost forgotten it when the postman finally delivered the game. With shaking hands I inserted the tape into the player and waited. And waited. And then waited for some more. When I finally got to play... Was I disappointed? I'm a fan but not of the blind kind who takes everything without questioning it. So I swallowed my disappointment and tried to get some entertainment out of it to compensate the price I paid and months I waited. When I loaded the game again after all these years it was still crap but now I found it has some moving charm to it. Oh well.
The one thing you can definitely take from all of that, is that fact that it definitely brings back a nostalgic memory.. even if it was a disappointing one hehe. I remember plenty of games that had that type of effect on me too. I was like "Gah, this is shocking. Now I have to wait a full week to get another game" and usually in a sulk I'd just fire up Paradroid and play that for the next 7 days instead 😄🕹👌
I still have this game for my Commodore 64 as a disk version in a compilation called ARCADE FORCE FOUR. And to be honest, this is much better 😺👍🕹️ than INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE: THE ACTION GAME 😹. INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE: GRAPHIC ADVENTURE and INDIANA JONES AND THE FATE OF ATLANTIS: GRAPHIC ADVENTURE are still the best on the Amiga 😺👍🕹️.
The scenery is fast scrolling, but it is multi color extended chars I guess without scrolling colors (so 4 fixed colors for the game screen). No fancy coding here. No risks. Overall it is not too bad, the theme music & sound effects are pretty good but small loop which drives you nuts. The follow up, The Last Crusade has slightly better hi-res graphics but is less smooth in gameplay. Sigh I hope one day the Indy movies are properly paid tribute by a great C64 game. The promising fan project 'Indi III' is dead as far as I know :/
lol cheeky, this game is hard to play... yet.. kid me review: 10 out of 10, classic game, will NEVER get better then this! 🤣 omg I was easy to please. Indi anything was gold to me as a kid, i used to put on my dads railroad hat, and coil a coaxial cable as my whip.. I remember putting a glass near my mom and replacing it with a bag of candy gold nuggets, i used to rub my beard and everything lol.... thank you Cheeks, I did not expect this at all. what a great life we have had here..
Ahhh the memories that flood back when playing certain types of games on the Commodore 64 really are astounding. I always see myself in my minds eye as a kid, literally sprinting to the market stall every Saturday morning... with my Mother a fair bit behind. She knows exactly where I am running to so she knows I am safe - but I just cant wait to see what new games were in stock. Pure nostalgia 😇🕹️👌
Not one i liked back in the day.thought it was a poor conversion . Messy graphics and that iconic tune grates after only several mins Played a few times then swapped at school for something else
I miss how easy it was to swap games with friends back in the day. There was so much contraband C64 games switching hands back in the day, was awesome 😇🕹👌

Hey, Dr. Jones, no time for love! Not when there's new CCG content to watch.
Haha absolutely 😄🕹👌

Ahh was that the adventure game (Indy III)? I read about that somewhere but somehow it fell off the radar 😇🕹👌
@@CheekyCommodoreGamer Yea an attempt to port the graphic point & click adventure that came out for Amiga & PC late '80s
hope the new movie is good
Yeah me too. Indy ain't retiring yet 😇🕹👌
I'd trade all four C64 Indy games for any one on the Amiga/PC.
The text adventures on the Commodore Amiga are fantastic, especially Fate Of Atlantis. Pure gold 😇🕹️👌
A wizard? It's Mola Ram.
Yeah Mola Ram is named within the video 😄🕹👌

Hope you're enjoying the nostalgia 😇🕹️👌
Too be honest. I couldn't stand this game, and playing It, I was always thinking of playing something else!
Yeah I get what you mean there... thinking about it, am pretty sure I had an ex that gave me the same vibe 😇🕹👌
