    I built one from my blow up saluspa hot tub when it started leaking. I used an IBC tank and put the unit in the stairs I built to get in and out. Insulated and barn boarded everything then made an insulated lid with handles. I build a bench on one side and the pump in and out lines attach to a 2x6 going down one corner. Still uses the puck holder and filter from the blow up saluspa. Bin going strong for many months now. 🇨🇦

    Why does everyone post their text box at the bottom of the video knowing we can’t read it when YT puts so much stuff at the bottom of the screen?

    • @AndrewLeeW1
      @AndrewLeeW1 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Much of what is on YT is stolen from other platforms where that is not an issue. Things are stolen like that from YT and placed onto other platforms as well. Happens both ways. So this is likely not the origin of this particular video clip.

    Add a $20 solar water fountain that you just use as a submerged water circulation aid; comes with everything you need except a $10 deer camera 6V battery from walmart to hook up so you have power at night. You don't need much

    Hola, que le echaste a la caldera? Cómo se llama, imagino que es para acelerar el proceso de encendido.
    Podrías enviarme por favor, una foto que muestre la tapa de tu tinaja por abajo para ver como van los palos por debajo

    how does it get air in if most of the container is under water and u close off the inlet?

    • @michaelrogers3857
      @michaelrogers3857 ปีที่แล้ว

      So its hard to see but the lid doesnt have to be coving 100% on the hole, you can slide it back and forth and also you can just run the fire with the lid completely off if you want, theres is a plate that runs from the lid area down to thr bottom of the fire area so fresh air can get in to burn but its hard to see on video

    • @ryanfowler5201
      @ryanfowler5201  ปีที่แล้ว

      there's a little stainless steel scoop that comes with it when you purchase an alumitubs. It's the device seen in the video used to mix the hot tub (works as a very large spoon for that purpose too!)

    • @ryanfowler5201
      @ryanfowler5201  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes definitely but typically we are using this in very cold temps so we just pop the top off and let the natural air cool it / slow down on loading in more wood.

    Chlorine or salt??

    • @ryanfowler5201
      @ryanfowler5201  ปีที่แล้ว

      We use chlorine. We're in a rural setting where water refills are straining on our infrastructure so try to let the water last as long as possible. We also rent out our home so want to ensure that guests have safe water to use (albeit chlorine is obviously less enjoyable on your skin... at least it's clean and safe).
