Oh the joys of MGTF clutch master cylinder 😂, arms seize up without use 🤔 ! My neighbour and I bled the clutch together, now we need a new clutch 😢 Car still in bits on the drive 😂, good luck 👍
Happy endings normally cost extra. Well they do at our local massage parlour anyway. And there are some clever people out there that make modified clutch arms with a grease nipple on so you can prevent them from seizing up. Sadly, as far as I know, no one has yet found a way of fitting them without removing the gearbox.
Got my TF recently, hadn't been used for a bit when I picked it up and man that clutch was stiff. It'd sort of sit there, and then just jump up off the floor in its own time Made for a fun drive home
@@ProjectNigel I've heard they are frustrating, and the rumours weren't wrong I'll admit I've sworn at mine a lot, since it seems unable to keep rain out. But when they are running, there's a lot of fun to be had at least
What are they like? Iv had a inkling for one. I used to have a mk 1 mx 5 but I have missed the boat for a decent one of them now. But to tbf iv always likes the mid engined lay out if the mg and the performance
Hate to say I was right, but I was right. Jack the passenger side up and douse what you can see of the clutch arm in penetrating oil. Hopefully it will run down the shaft , keep giving it a wiggle and more oil for a few days. It can sometimes work. Fixed my F like this, but my TF 160 refused and had to replace the clutch arm
There's one of your little tunes that for weeks has been puzzling me what it reminds me of, and its My Humps by The Black Eyed Peas!
I don't know that
Hope you get the MG fixed 🚘🚙🚗👍👍👍👍👍🍺
I will
The actual lyrics to the song are…
“Wear your head-hat, wear your head-hat, wear your head-hat…”
Ah I see
You will get there in the end but who knows how far the end is lol.😂😂
Now THAT should be a merch t shirt slogan. lol
@@SmashingPistons Great Idea lol.🤔😂

Oh dear...
Dribble hot water around your frozen areas. They soon warm up and open much easier.
I'll leave you with whatever mental picture is conjured.

That’s me, the retired 😮one with the dogs 🐶
😅
It's not that cold! I'm still in my shorts 😆😆👍
Yeah I bet you are 😅
