Damn The h7 bulb is changed through a special hole in the plastic cover under the wheel fender. To replace, for example, the right bulb, you need to turn the wheel to the right, then open the plug, there is good access to the h7 bulb
Big Thanks Ben I had the same bulb fail this week, so i thought id go down to Halfords, let them scrape their knuckles, not mine , got told this is a "Dealer Only" job, wheel off, bumper off etc etc" , surely not. I bought the bulb and thought id tune in and hey presto, 10 minute job, Ben you are a top man. Thankyou PS "No Thanks to Halfords Farnborough Hants".

Bought that car in a hurry cuz I thought it was a good idea to send my B6 into the garage to get the flywheel changed to speed things up but a 2 day job turned into a year and 2 month job chacing mechanics and solicitors around the place. But anyways I end up buying another car and thats this one. Needed it in a hurry but this car is a flyer im pleased with it an its gonna be done up soon. But I would get something like a 190bhp GT even a 230 they won’t be easy found but they are an absolute animal 👌🏼 well wear
Hey fella, great video! I've just bought a 2016 B8 which I pick up on Friday! I'd appreciate any pointers on the bulbs you bought for this. Also, did you switch the DRL from the outside light to the inside?? Slightly puzzled on that part lol I'm looking to switch out the yellow bulbs for white literally the day I get the car! ha! Appreciate any pointers you can fire my way :)
Steve Courtney hey man thanks for watching and sorry for the late reply. Cant seem to switch over as both socket fittings are diffrent. The DRL uses w21w and the fogs uses h8/h11 I used the led with balanced conversions for the fogs and the w21w drl bulbs didnt work to well because it had a very loose fitting even with the metal spikes were pryed out and worked intermittently but I will upgrade better ones later with better fitting. Maybe give VCDS a try? I havent looked deep into that. But the diagnostic may be able to switch lighting over.
DeNiS -_- they actually look the buisness. Just after bought new ones from CF sounds outside longford. Gonna change them and chuck the chineese crap over the hedge 😂
Did you see the covers to remove on the inner wheel arch liner? Makes the headlamp bulb replacement easy. Best LED Option I have found with no Canbus warning and no radio interference are online from transporterhq.co.uk they are expensive, but the quality is fantastic and they are pure white.

Not sure havent looked but make sure they are canbus error free ones. could be an ebay job
