Different grift = different ad revenue.
You're making a different type of video, and expecting the same rates. IDK if making low RPM videos will impact your overall RPM on other videos, but I'd not risk it. Stick with your high RPM vids.
you arent selling the illusion of riches through trading so its not as appealing. this industry is nothing but pathological liars and scammers. this comment alone with probably lower the RPM once the AI reads it lol
In my country, and since we don't have english here, the cpm is about 1$ or less. It's interesting how then I just becomes pointless. But there are millionaire twitch streamers and good living TH-camrs here as well. Mostly eventually selling courses or etc. Even in other fields.

I’ve been trading full time for a little over a year and I’ve learned everything from TH-cam videos and trial and error. I have probably gotten more bad information or half ass useless information that I had to figure out on my own the hard way. The most important thing I can tell you is that there is no magic indicator, only take trades you’re super confident in and it’s ok to be wrong sometimes.

My boyfriend and I have been full-time trading for a little over a month. Quit our jobs and took a gamble on this. When I tell you we have probably learned all of this and more in 30 days than what most people probably learn in years, it's crazy. We trade OTC binary, sometimes regular markets, and if you know anything about binary, then you know what I'm talking about. Some of the binary channels are such BS. So much fluff and unnecessary information. And once I cracked the code on their affiliate links and referrals, I vowed to never watch another binary options youtuber again. Buckled down on my price action and technical analysis and I have never had better gains. Slow and steady with none of that "get rich quick" scheme that side of TH-cam has going on.
I did the same. Ended up sticking to books from reputable people plus it’s easier to hop back to the exact information I need.
All the gold is on yt, just have to find it!

I majored in psychology and worked as a substance abuse counselor for a couple of years. I've been creating content for a different channel related to mental health, "self improvement" and some finance here and there, mostly metaphysics though. I had no idea the RPM was that high for trading channels. I'm about to start a trading channel 💀

Thats really cool man. But i wouldn't go as far as to insult those bigger youtubers. Not all of them are bad and they want to make money, like we all do, they're good at what they do and they use that skill to make a living. The knowledge they share still helps a lot of people and ultimately its our decision whether we want to buy a course.. or keep learning off free youtube videos. Aside from that, I think your insight is awesome and what you do is really cool though 👍
W vid. Was just talking to my friends about this today. When u are on the producer side of the equation rather than consumer it’s like seeing through the veil. All these guys re upload the same videos and for God’s sake, they do not have to be 40+ min long each. You can explain this shit a lot quicker.

Brilliant video, always makes me laugh at all these so called Gurus making 100k a day trading yet they seem to focus a lot of their energy making TH-cam content and courses, I smell BS. The only way to learn trading is a plain old chart and screen time, lots of it, the only thing I take into account is time of day, 30 minutes after open with volume.

Oh! The truth comes out every time.
My numbers are similar. If you work out monthly channel views though you'll find that only the biggest channels pull in more than the equivalent of a six figure job out of TH-cam alone. So the courses and other goodies are necessary to really support them. This is probably why you see them invest their time and attention where you do. If you look at tech channels like Linus Tech Tips they show tons of investment back into making content for the channel. Trading TH-camrs seem to spend more of their time making courses, and the level of their content stays the same. Because really the algorithm doesn't reward the most informative content.

There are crazier niches too. I used to get $60 in a cancer-related niche. The highest click I ever got from Adsense was $35 from one click.
