When you start creating money by taking smart decisions only using money, things get kind of interesting. How much money is it worth to do all the developing and coding to have a running multichain token? Perhaps his time alone is worth the million $ because after all he is a TechLead.
I don't bug enough with these ideas, I don't care to look into the token and figure out how it's distributed and what's MM Tokenomics. Who cares. It is just NATURAL to follow the rabbit hole and dig like he is doing, don't JUDGE the guy. He is doing great.

I always thought it was weird how a while back, Techlead was making himself out to be a victim by saying that his ex-wife went back to Japan with their son, cut off all contact with him, and wouldn't allow him to see their son. TH-cam removed the dislike counter from the platform entirely a few months ago mate, It's not just Australia...You need to install an extension to be able to see it, I'm using (Return youtube dislike extension). Works very well

I miss when TH-cam showed the actual amount of dislikes on a video. It was such a time saver; especially when you’re in the middle of fixing some random thing that broke and you head to TH-cam on a tutorial to fix it.

I don’t think it really matters, he was hired to do a job. Im sure there are plenty of terrible people that live normal daily lives with regular jobs.
To be honest, I don't even think Tech Lead worked at Facebook or Google or whatever he claims to have worked at. He's got this weird superiority complex and he keeps talking about how smart he is, how rich he is and how he's better than everyone. If he really was like that, he'd never make it past junior engineer, since he's just impossible to work with. Programming in big codebases in a team is incredibly collaborative and requires you to be able to adapt to other peoples' programming styles and paradigms used in the code bases.
Tech Lead strikes me as impossibly difficult to work with, incredibly stubborn and unable to compromise.
I think he's just a con artist. I also suspect that his crypto scam is likely the only time he's cracked $1 mil.
I could absolutely see him being hired at Google in a junior position, and then either getting fired or quitting because he thinks he should be a senior level programmer right off the bat and no one appreciates his genius, but just getting hired is enough to brag about it the rest of his life

The vast majority of the Asian community that I know wouldn’t embarrass themselves like this publicly. Now they might have “no knowledge” as to how you ended up feeling so “uncomfortable” after screwing with them - that’d be a little more like it.
I have a dear friend that I consider my brother and he’s a kind and gentle soul except when he’s a cold and dangerous motherfucker that is protecting himself and anyone he calls family. He had some rough times a kid, growing up as a south east asian refugee at the edge of the ‘hood - and his father is the same way. The experience of fleeing unlimited persecution after fighting the Khmer Rouge to the USA via Thailand to save your family defies description.
If you’ve never seen a stumbling drunk sober up lightning fast, it’s when faced with a man coiled up like a cobra, mentally counting the number of steps you get to take before they flatten or ventilate you. Even the other Asians that I know with less harsh stories are generally very honorable and strong people that would never show this kind of behavior in public or on record.

The first and only video I saw from him was about his divorce at the time. He spent the first 25% of it talking about how expensive the lawyers are and kept bringing up money throughout the video. Yeah i remember coming across his videos during my research on programming careers and he gives quite a bit of advice that has held up, however his overall vibe and attitude towards money and its importance was very opposite to my view. eventually i came across his video about his divorce and i approached it with skepticism since this was one side of the story but his overemphasis on the monetary aspect of it was odd. It seemed like he couldnt understand that lots of money wasnt enough to keep a family together. Sad really, sounds like a man who prioritized wealth over his relationships as many do. But clicking this video is the first ive heard of him in a long time i hadnt heard about all of fthis.

Sometimes when my life is going to well, I tune in to techlead to question my path in life and possibly duck it up good.
I wonder if the filter on the video whenever he plays tech lead clips is to go and get around some automated copy striking.
The man is an ex-Google, and he constantly expresses the elitism that I hate so much in the high-tech world (a world I am part of)
There is such a thing where people in the high-tech world treat themselves as the intellectual spearhead, and everyone else is not smart enough to be a part of the world of technological development.
So every time I encounter typical human stupidity in such people, the irony is striking

Dealt with many a-holes in my tech career. Now I find ways to show them to the door. I protect my teams as much as possible because I will be damned if I knowingly allow the bullying I went through the first half of my career to be done to others. A well functioning team can almost always outperform a couple of rockstars any day.
It's a common problem in every industry. Because of their position people feel like they are superior or more intelligent than the people who support or work under them. Most of the time, they only hold their position BECAUSE of the people who support or work under them. I'm an A&P mechanic and we have this problem with engineers all the time. My step dad does as well and he owns his own home audio business. Engineers calling in and asserting their education makes them more intelligent than him. I'm over here like... This dude owns his own SUCCESSFUL business, built and maintains his own website, R&D's his own products, works in production AND quality control in his own business, and is NOT COLLEGE EDUCATED. Education =\= intellect. Neither does IQ.

The asshole software engineer was an enormous problem in the 2000's and 2010's, since the internet was still finding it's way and we relied on software prowess more than people skills. But in recent years I find that applicants are much more level headed. As tech education becomes more accessible there's a bigger pool of people to choose from than there was just a decade ago.
If there's any hint of elitism or someone that doesn't work well with others in an interview it's an easy pass. No matter how long their resume is.

Good man coffee, I'm studying IT at uni and I'm invested in crypto. I watched this guy to try and gain insight on the industry but I trusted this sense I had that something was wrong with this guy and was lucky. I think I'll do that more often now and be more cautious on people. I didn't realise he was full evil but now that's confirmed.
Crypto was a good idea in principle. In practice it's nothing but a disappointment now. Don't invest yourself into crypto.

I don't know why, but "Techlead" has always seemed like a scam artist. Like everything he says just sounds like BS. I could be completely wrong, but those are just the vibes I get from him.

Power is very off putting. but mostly I don't like the responsibility over my shoulders at all. I just want to create.
I saw a few Techlead videos, but the more and more I saw the more I realized that anything that he doesn't like he likes to bash completely. He goes around calling things he doesn't like meaningless or useless or a waste of time. It's hard to find some humanity from him and this response video shows that as well. The effort to come off as a high-end tech guy appeals to some, but comes off as pretentious to most and is quite off-putting even to those who do understand the tech industry.
How the mighty have fallen. TechLead had good tech career advice, now he's just sad and bitter since his wife took his kid and fled back to Asia. Seeing his behavior of late, its no longer a mystery why she seized her chance to flee.

These kind of mix elements are dangerous, I think he’s actually a menace to society and probably fits the profile of someone hiring people to put down somebody else out of vengeance or resentment, while thinking at the same time “he deserved it, I’m not the bad guy here”.
