"Okay, they're not profitable, but their videos helped me." You've made progress in trading because of the work you've put in, not because some TH-camr showed you where to draw lines and rectangles on a chart (which has 0 predictive power, and proof on that here: th-cam.com/video/994Rv9UXi9Q/w-d-xo.html).

Whoever you're thinking of is not the exception (99.99% of the time). They're marketers, and nothing would be better for marketing than third-party-audited broker statements proving their profitability. It would also solidify everything they're teaching. Yet, they won't do it. They have to resort to manipulation tactics to appear profitable (if they make that claim). Broker statements are all that matter. Everything else can be manipulated and/or faked.

a lot of fakes out there. though there are some like Relentless Trader and Trading Farmer in small cap space who live stream every day for hours and they are obviously not on sim accounts(for example you cant market order on sim on TOS). also they show plenty of days when they are red.
the issue from Ross Cameron's stuff from everything I known that its way overpriced given the success ratio of students.
truth is even best 'legit' courses still will be very hard to make money and you need time and talent to make it work and his isn't even the best small cap material out there for newbies and its way overpriced(hence the FTC cracked down on him).
I really want you to do a video breakdown on Kevin Grego, of The Safety Trade System. He claims his system predicts the future and has over 99% win rate.

There’s so many free trading tips, I actually advise watching them and trying some of the strategies. Once you’ve gone through this entire process and understand trading. Sit at the charts and figure out your own technique, my technique would not work for someone else, trading is a very personal thing. Every strategy should be adapted to yourself, chart time is key, trying and failing is key - just do it in practice accounts first
Thank you Iman for your honesty and integrity. It takes 100x more effort to expose these scammers than to just join the bandwagon and profit from it. But I can assure you that you will have more to gain from educating the public and exposing these individuals than to be a part of it.

I can't believe how many things you pointed out that are traits of my current guru Moneyvest. My gut told me things I was reluctant to admit and until you pointed them out I let them slide. With your mentions of some new tactics, bells went off. The ones I realized on my own was "I'm opening up some new positions so hurry" and ""This offer expires in 3 days" then after 4 days the same offer opens up. EACH MONTH. Wow. I thought it was just accepted salesmanship.If they do just one solid recognizable scam---why wouldn't they do more. My eyes are more open and looking.Thank you sincerely, A new subscriber.

Honestly speaking, i just assume everyone is on some bs. The information they give is actually quite useful for learning so i just take pieces from everywhere until i have a trading plan that works for me.

What a great video!!! This should be posted everywhere. So many scammers out there and way too many influencers. I'm trading full-time now for 2 years and I promise you don't go into it. It's one of the hardest things I did. The only way to learn is to try it yourself and fail, fail, fail, and even then you might not be profitable. We are designed to loose with trading, the market or the house always wins in the long run! Well done with this video exposing all these fake people trading!
As someone who has 3 funded accounts I 100% agree. Passing an eval means absolutely NOTHING in the short term. How long can you keep them?
I still on eval for almost 6 months rn, haven't passed it but haven't blown it up either lol... ups and downs in equity graph but at least I still breakeven trader, its a good thing for me since I just 1+ year experience...

bro this hit hard. ive gotten funded 7 different times in 2023 and i blew all of them. i even got to the point where i could withdrawl 2k from my funded account all i had to do was request the withdraw and i still blew the account. psycology is everything in this game. strategy is only 10%

you are definitely on the right track Iman, I have just started trading in options recently, and it didn't take long to realize that this is no get rich quick vehicle. soo many "gurus" out there make it look to easy and then grift you into paying for a course or discourse which simply generates subscription and you tube income. In my opinion, and again, I'm just a brand new trader so take this with a grain of salt. however It's the people like you that are grounded in reality, and acknowledge that learning and applying yourself and not looking for shortcuts are going to be the true winners in the long run. - keep up the good work, maybe you will save many people hard earned money.😃
I agree with @patrickrundle3532, firstly good work, this is the first video I've come across of yours and I hope more people see it. I have been trading in cryptos since 2017, recently getting into ETFs etcs.. , I have been trough a lot of tough learning lessons, not with gurus, just making my own mistakes along the way. If I can add to what patrick was saying here, I would suggest, any money that you are willing to spend on a guru, take that money and go trade with it. Rather lose that money by learning the hard way. Lose your money and pay your school fees, but paying someone to do the work for you, and then they run off with your money is pointless. You haven't learnt a thing... I lost money to leverage, you know what I do today? I don't use leverage :'D those school fees were well spent, and it didn't go to a guru. Anyway, keep up the good work, I'll watch more of someone grounded in reality than listening to another pump and dump promotion any day of the week :)

I am in my fifth year of developing myself as a day trader. Now I am not profitable nor loosing much. Progress from being looser most of the times is huge, but I see a light at the end of the tunnel now. It took about a year to find out myself that almost all the ‘gurus’ are frauds, but I have really learned from all of them and incorporated in my strategy. Like the old saying ‘A wise man can learn from a fool’

Hey, thanks for this video. I am a prime target for most of these guru's. A guy with a regular job, trying to get out of the rat race. I have some disposable income, but I don't have time. So, I am starved for any shortcut that will help me make extra money. I probably fall for 2 or 3 of these programs a year. Your video specifically talks about Trading Guru's, but there are other Guru's that have turned me into another notch on their wallet only to be thrown away after hitting me up for 4 or 5 hundred dollars. Unfortunately trading attracted way too many bad apples that self proclaim to be the experts/gurus when they're less than clown making entertainment vids on TH-cam.
Just wanted to say here that I started my trading journey recently and the first guru that you exposed was 'moving average' for me so that was relatively new and it was kind of an eye opener in the whole 'guru' side. But yea just like everyone else in the comments is saying. Honestly man you have saved a lot of us from this bullshit and also lost money. I genuinely hope that you get rewarded for all of this soon and I wish you the best of luck in your journey. You can't help everyone but for the guys here and for the guys with basic reasoning capabilities once again, truly, thank you.
I'm glad you made this, I find it very difficult to even find the right content to even learn and study from nowadays, so much content is being release and flooded about forex that even a beginner wouldn't know where to begin.

This is why I started my channel. Wanted to put out free content that highlights the AVERAGE futures trader's journey. Its not glorious or fast. It is a slow and steady process that influencers and famous trading youtubers often do not teach because they would have to post their losing days and hurt their egos. Also, ACTUAL strictly educational videos do not get nearly as many views as "I MADE $50,000 in One Day!" videos that don't even highlight how they got that money or even show their PnL for the day. Great video! Only one correction, ROSS CAMERON from Warrior Trading doesn't have fake broker statements. He shows it all and is the real deal! He has many students who have become profitable and I've received his 2020 Warrior Pro members course (i won't say how) but his videos are legit and he shows it all on paper, 3rd party audit. Dig deeper into his content and broker statements, you'll see for yourself. Otherwise, great work, keep it up!

Another easy way to verify if they don't like releasing broker statements is simply ask them to cleary go through 50 trade setups in the future, laying out their stop loss, profit target and then see how many of those 50 trades work out.

great video Iman , i was curious if there are any trading channels you would actually recommend following ( asides from Tom Hougaard which you mentioned in the video that you think he is one of the few public traders that appears to be an actual profitable trader ) also what sources do you recommend for learning the fundamentals of price action ? i was thinking of Buying a course from Al brooks as he does not appear to be a guru from what i can tell however after watching many of your videos i do not know what to think anymore , thanks .
Don't buy a course from Brooks yet unless you watch his youtube videos and am prepared for his incredibly slow and stiff style. Dude is a genius, but I have a hard time staying awake.

Al's course is very long and very boring. But if you're ready for a Phd in price action then it's the way to go; just be prepared for a long haul.

The real journey of a trader sucks but it's very rewarding in the long term if you stick with it. If you're selling anything or posting videos about it, especially to flaunt your profits then most likely you're selling a pipe dream. The hard work, time and dedication will not come from any of these guys but yourself. Some spect few will guide you in the right direction though but that's it. Unfortunately, new people in the space will go with it as we go with whatever is shiniest. What's crazy is that even though they are new then they should have common sense to ask "why" or "how" since it's their hard earned money they are risking. Guess everyone wants it easy. You live and learn I guess.

So moral of the story is don't trust anyone on YT. Just because someone is selling you something that does not mean it is not worth it. A lot of people want quick success without doing the work and investing the time, they are the ones easily fooled by fake guru's.
A lot of courses are not worth it, but a FACT is that when we pay for things we are more inclined to take action and put in effort. 🕵♀
The fx industry is really full of scammers n fraudulent charlatans. In my 5 years of trading journey, i have easily spend about 10k on course fees in total. The first mentor that i purchased from is still actively selling his course without concrete proof.
After so many years of trading, the truth is that the values can only be derived from yourself
The true learning just comes from u. The backtest, data collection, and forward testing and to top it off the psychology aspects of it.

I've heard it takes on average 7 years for a trading to achieve profitability. So you still have time for sure. I am in my 4th year, and am still definitely up and down in my performance.

The trading channel has many videos on learning the market, which helped me tremendously. I don't see anything wrong with having paid courses that offer more education. I have not taken any of his paid courses because, as you said, there are many tools for free. Thanks for your research!
