My daughter became a widow at 32 and she collects her widows pension maybe you need to contact social security office and find out we live in San Diego California USA

In the United States, if your wife has a social security number and you lived together for more than 12 months before expiring, at her age of 50, she would be entitle to widows benefit. If you have any minor children when the husband pass away, those children would be entitle to survivors benefit effective right away from the day he passed away.

Its unfortunately very late to think of securing something for your wife now, when the husband gets old/sick (and likely will have more medical/hospital bills to pay), if He has friends/family maybe he could set up a Fundme collection. Try to save a littel buffer , hopefully the wife owns the land/house so she would not also be homeless besides being with out funds (medical and funeral cost will likely drain all cash reserves). The Philippines has Inflation too, so its very diffecult to live here on a fixed pension (unless you live more or less native style). All expats must have a plan B, a Cash reserve if all goes south, a health insurance (that at least covers some), a paid house/condo so expences is lower. Good luck

Before I am bringing my filipina into my life to share our after life goals will be met or they won't. I am setting things up for her, but with everything else when I have passed, it will totally in God's hands. We are in good hands.

Kidney failure doesn't mean dead penalty so be positive you can get a kidney transplant and dialysis in the mean time and about diabetic just try to keep it under control and you will live for a long time. Take your medicine for a possible high blood pressure, check your cholesterol and keep active, I am a diabetic type 1 and I have a normal life because I'm taking care of my condition, I have a Omni Pod 5 and Dexcom G6 and until now I don't have any problems and I am a diabetic since 1998 now with 67 years of age, so keep a good diet, and enjoy your life like I do. God Bless you.
postdate , No that picture its not from me but my dear father who died several years ago.

And others vloggers have said you can't leave her a lump sum of cash because the relatives will soon see her as a cash cow. In record time.

My Filipina will get a pension from me, but we backed it up with a nice house, and a cottage property. She should be OK.

Two good TH-cam channels to follow would be Dr. Jason Fung - to cure or reverse type 2 diabetes and Dr. Ken Berry - to reverse or halt the progression of kidney disease. Neither of these are a death sentence and there are things you can do to improve your health and allow you and your wife many more years together.

When my wife will be 60 she will be eligible for 20% of my pension, at her age 65 she will get almost 40%.
So, we look agter each other snd our kids, dince the longer we both live the better financially we will be. 😊😊
Plus, we build a plan of investment to produce modest income that will be enough.
