Truly, these types of videos are the best. Also, it's so great that you saved the bundle in Ravelry - I have a bundle now that are other peoples bundles! Your ideas are great!

I love these! I should add that the edition of Pom Pom that Norah Gaughn edited (No. 27) also gives of witchy vibes! Willowwood and Nightingale are particularly good!

I knew there was another Norah Gaughan publication connection I was missing!! I then assumed that because the Stag Head was formally published I was just confused. Thank you for clearing that up :) it was bugging me.

Fun video! I enjoy the idea of taking a deep dive into a character's aesthetic and showcasing patterns that fit the vibe, and it's a neat way to find hidden gems or older patterns. I look forward to future topics (esp. dark academia!).

Loved this edition!! Have you checked out Hannah Mann of Dear Ingénue? I feel like the bulk of her patterns would be appropriate for this video’s vibe. They’re so good.

As a hereditary wican, I am compelled to point out that using stereotypical Hollywood iconography as a basis for encapsulating the idea of "what a witch would wear" is classic antitheism.
Would anyone be comfortable with a gentile (non-Jewish person) dressing up as a rabbi or cantor "in a whimsical way?"
Is everyone cool with white folks dressing in the ceremonial garb of the North American, Aleutian... indigenous, or with pagans dressing like Greek Orthodox priests "lightheartedly?"
Wican, in approximately 90% of its forms - the *true forms* not the "ooooh, look at me, I'm a 'fill in the blank witch' posers" - is a deeply held *spiritual practice* based on balance, as well as respect for & a responsibility to all life and the planet. It takes years and years and *years* of work and practice before one reaches a level of understanding in which one might be willing to label themselves as a "forest" or "hearth" or "whatever" witch. But in the *very unlikely event* that a true practitioner was to adopt a label (which most of us vehemently reject - read your history books - you'll understand why) that choice would never *NEVER* be informed by a Pintrest board or a tiktok or TH-cam video (shudder) or anything with the name "Llewellyn Publishing" on it (an abomination.)
While it's true that "there's a little witch in all of us," it is equally true that, "You can't practice witchcraft while you look down on it." Perpetuating the Hollywierd mythos of witches ~especially referencing or even a sideways glance toward heretical nonsense like "Sabrina"~ is *looking down your nose at it.*
    Please. Seriously. Just *please*.
