- At Eurosatory 2024, Hyundai Rotem, a prominent force in South Korea's defense industry, has unveiled its latest breakthrough in armored warfare technology: the Next Generation Main Battle Tank (NG-MBT), also informally known as the K3. This advanced tank marks a significant leap in response to the evolving demands of modern combat scenarios and the South Korean military's need for enhanced tactical capabilities.
PL-01 on steroids... Actually I love it and this cooperation, so important for our Europe. Great ❤
Despite my political views and stance on war the k3 ngmbt program is interesting. It's more tame now but can add the features early in the program and upgrade to those concepts later on in the future. Going forward but backwards at the same time. The gun should be an electrothermal chemical gun ( later railgun) and the laser should come back. Stealth should be shown alot of attention as well.
I think they are likely actively working on the 3 project right now looking up on their dapa advanced technology unit could be to worry
Safest configuration = engine front, soldier exit rear like transport wehicle.
It reminds me of PL-01. An earlier Polish prototype

I mean the idea and the design. Unmanned turret, with not muhc heavy armour and a central heavy armoured "cell" for the crew.
So if it any good where is t14 and I not point at the tank totally just how so bad russians invaders are other ones are doing in Ukraine so how really good is their super tank? to
@@AaronKnight-fe1vm I don't say the T 14 is good, or the Russians are good, I say the idea was good. Hyundai however will make it work, where the Russians aren't able. so far.

ok here is a list of wrongs in this build:
1. why use spike rocket, you have 120mm main gun with same characteristic ; range approx 4-5 km same as spike-- stupid
2. if you gone use intern build spike.. you have to build extra armor so no f***ing 12mm mg will detonate spike inside tower..flying rusian tower... stupid
3. adding extra armor make tank go up in weight 2-3 ton extra just to add spike rocket.. stupid
I think its also for anti air?

A modern army does not fight a ww2-style trench warfare... That's where these modern tanks come in.
