Good time to add a battery tender connection when this battery is out.

To points, when undoing the battery leads, cut a finger off a rubber glove and wrap the lead after you take them off. Second, Go Lithium save some weight.

Many thanks, great video. Just wondering why you didn't replace with a higher cranking current battery like 240A compared with the standard 200A

Hi There! Love your videos!! I have a question I life in Scotland and store my bike over the winter the lock up has no access to power, would I do any harm removing the battery all together while the bike is stored? It’s a 2018 1200 GSA. Appreciate any advice!!

Hi and thanks for your comment and support.
I have in my bike conected a battery tender , just take out the little triangular plastic cover and connect it one side to the positive and the other end to de frame. Or directly to the battery.
      Best regards from Texas.

When you unplug the battery doesn't the instrument cluster loses the information like the service indicator, milage, etc?
That was what I was afraid off.

No problem at all, the system have a internal battery and it keeps all the information.

If you don’t keep these batteries on a battery maintainer, they will go bad.
