@Guitario666 so comfortable, best controls yet on a handheld love it...just need a more powerful chipset on a 7" screen and the layout and controls of this
Great review! This may be my first retro handheld. I am confused by one thing: I saw your spec screenshot that said "4.0 inch AMOLED screen" but then it also says 4.0 inch IPS screen. I checked the webpage and it confirms to be IPS. My understanding is AMOLED is OLED and cannot be IPS. Where did this screenshot come from?
I really like this thing but it's so close to price to the RP5. The 4:3 screen is cool but doesn't play the games as good. I would save up a little more and get the RP5 first atleast cause that thing is cool. I think the 406v is more special though because it's vertical it's less competition there.
Valuable points made man, I think anbernic have gone for the option of making handhelds suitable for everyone not one specific person..a smart move in my opinion. But we have never been spoiled as much as we are today with choices. I can't wait to see what we get in 2025...and yes the RP5 is a great choice at a awesome price.
I considered it but went with the RP5 which has some ergo issues but plays gamecube and ps2 games very well also with a fair bit of switch. I think I made the right choice.
@@Raphtor13 oh definitely, it's a shame as I feel anbernic is falling behind. Especially with the release of the retroid pocket 5 and it being very powerful and most of all cheap with amazing quality. They need to boost the Chipset and come up with something even like the portal, 7 inch screen and mega powerful
right thoughts on ur decision however this device can also run switch games. Just not as powerful as the others. I'm surprised it was able to run Pokemon Mystery Dungeon remake.
Overpriced poop. "RP5" is kinda misleading because in terms of power it's like a retroid 4 pro **+*.😬 Not worth it as you said at all. 👉What's truly worth it tho is waiting for either a 5 pro or a 6. Anbernic hit a home run & funny thing is the RG Cube is the best designed hand held in terms of feel / comfort...."RP5" isn't even close to that. What Anbernic offers probably more bang for your buck. Anbernic gives you what you need...RP5 is almost pure luxury... Except it's inferior in comfortability to the RG CUBE so not that much luxury.😊
I ordered 406H last december and one week from usage the screen had light bleed and green screen. Really loved this device and want to order again but having doubts about the screen durability... I fully refunded the defective unit posted the issue on my channel
@@neilphilippeocampo4420 thats not good, well glad you got a refund man. Fingers crossed is was a one off. I would give it another go and hopefully no issues this time.
@neilphilippeocampo4420 I know, I had it with the 556 got doing videos for it and then it just stopped working...had it a lot over the years...pot luck sometimes with defective products...joys of electronics
Have to say am surprised how good this is best part is the controls I think. They nailed them
I just got mine, I can't wait to load games up on it! 🤩
I love it them sticks are everything
@@Lisa313shoe best I have used
Great review, thanks for sharing ❤
Not a problem man, thank you for watching 🙏
The RG406H, RG406V, and the RG-CUBE are the T820 Trifecta!!!
Ha ha
Wow 😮 this looks really good
@@zockeromi1970 it's a very nice handheld, just a shame we get the same chipset again
I'm probably gonna get this system to and it looks nice thankyou for showing the video it was very interesting 😊🎮🕹📻☕
Not a problem at all
I liked the video you made of the retroid pocket 5 and I'm gonna get one 😊🕹🎮📻☕
The RP5 is a great handheld I would get a grip for it if you can though
And thanks for the views man much appreciated 🙏
thankyou Sonic Love 😊🎮🕹📻☕
@davidclement5665 not a problem
wow I didn't know it could play playstation 2 emulators and Gamecube emulators on it thankyou for the info now I'm really gonna get one 😊🕹🎮📻☕
Enjoy this is a very nice handheld not the most powerful but from controls screen and overall feel this is good
@@SonicLoveEmulationi agree. It feels fanrastic unlike the rp5 for dual analogue sticks

@SonicLoveEmulation that would be sweet
@Guitario666 it definitely would, I think it will happen now the rp5 is a cheap option and ayn portal on its way...they will fall behind if they don't
Princess Crown will be great on this Handheld. 😊
I do, think the 406h is a awesome handheld but I still feel this chipset needs a make over
@@SonicLoveEmulation Sega Saturn Emulation is pretty good with the Beetle Core in Retro Arch.
@Pridetoons definitely a nice handheld and awesome if you like Sega saturn

can you player regular xbox games on it
Sadly not, it's not powerful enough you would need to get something like the oden 2
oh ok thankyou for letting me know probably this year I should probably get an odin 2
@davidclement5665 I would get the ayn portal that's going to be amazing. Watch some videos on it man
There's no Android Xbox emulator unfortunately.
