DC you are the man. You have a wealth of knowledge for such a young dude. Its the passion you have for fishing that makes you so good I think. Googan picked the right pro to represent the brand from almost the very beginning. I'm one of youre biggest fans and appreciate everything you share with us.
DC just wanted to say thanks for taking time out of your day yesterday to take a picture with my son and speak to him at the gas station. It made his day.
Great work Brett. Love the final production. We only want to watch those who truly love chasing the brown, green, & black fish and NOBODY loves angling more than DC. Carry on gentlemen, we'll keep watching.
Man that was awesome seeing Brett catching a bass on TH-cam again. Gave me a bit of the ole BFishing Outdoors throwback. I got him and Chris on his first smallie years ago, but I'm just a regularly old local guy on Pickwick and not a hammer like DC. I would absolutely flip my lid to go on a one day trip and soak up some knowledge from DC.
That was some sick footage keep slaying them bass bro 😎 the tug is the drug! Personally I been getting out dangling for smallies. Used to be one of them natural brook trout guys! But filming videos and meeting new anglers has really opened me up to all kinds of fisheries!!!
DC, that was freaking awesome... "He jumped in the f-ing boat". So, find the depth, find the fish... learning to catch 5 in the Saturday derbies has been a learning experience. Thank you for the help.
I live in upstate NY and so happy to see you cone up here and crush it. I thought ibwas so fortunate to have the finger lakes in my back yard and now people get to see that . You and Jacob showed how good of large and small mouth that these lakes produce. Congrats on the win brother and ding !!!!
Hey DC I am such a huge fan of yours and almost got the chance to talk to you yesterday I was going by Kowaliga and saw you getting ready to leave the boat ramp and I actually last you on the way to the boat ramp but such a huge fan and wish I would have stopped. Keep doing what you do and bring an inspiration to young anglers like me. I actually have a tourney on Martin next weekend if you have any advicr
I love your video’s man!! You are my favorite by far… I noticed you using the same minnow style bait in the tourney is it a zoom baby fluke or zman please let us know. I seen Scott Martin drop shorting a gulp minnow but yours looks more fluke style. Thanks bud!!!
DC great video. Brett good job and nice catch. DC that tiger looking smallmouth was awesome. I don’t understand why these guys have a problem with live scope. 🛎🎣🦃🦌
Great video. So do you use live or 2D to find the grass edges? With Mille lacs not having much grass where do think the smallmouth will setup? Good luck up there and safe travels.
Hey man learned alot from you on how to offshore fish! Was just wondering, you were fishing around 15' of water. Why on your graph were you mapping all the way out along the 50-60' contour lines in front of the flats?
Awesome vid man. Cool to see you are teamed up with Googan also. Just subscribed. Have the camera guy show more of whats happening on the fishfinders so we can learn to read them a bit better though.
The only people crying about electronics are the people that can't afford them, self included 😢...you could send me one money bag's, lol..your the best man. LETS GO...
@@DCFishing saw that later in the video. Broke my cardinal rule of commenting before it was over. Thinking of taking the triton out there tomorrow. Nice win on cayuga brother !
Such a great ambassador for the sport of fishing, and I firmly believe when it’s all said and done he’ll be one of the best to have ever done it on a pro level. Makes me want to be a better fisherman, and a better person. #kingofding
It definitely doesn’t figure it out for you. But it is another tool that can be utilized just like 2D and side imaging. It really just helps you be more efficient at finding good areas vs bad areas
This wasn't as helpful as i expected it would be. You started off saying the first thing you look for is water clarity and then never explained it. Then you found them right away and just talked about depth. How did you decide to use a drop shot? Why did you start in 20ft instead of in 10ft or instead of on docks? those are the things I was hoping to learn
Those are the things that are hard to show. Water was very clear so it is best to go light line and finesse. I started on the most obvious place on the lake, a main point, and worked my was from 8ft to 30ft and found where they were holding. I did explain the docks. It was public knowledge it was a small mouth fishery and with it being summer they should be off shore. So away from docks. I am sorry I didn’t make that more clear but some of that is hard to convey because in most cases when you eliminate nothing is actually happening in those moments
Not being smart here, but I don't have high dollar electronics.....other than "Hey, over there looks like a good spot!" how would a weekend warrior like me go about breaking this lake down? I can see points and weeds yes, but I can't see flats or rocks or trees in 30 feet of water let alone schools of baitfish. I don't have a high dollar sponsor either....anyone wanna sponsor me? I'll put your name on my boat in letters 3 feet tall for a sweet Lowrance HDS Live! 🤣

Love the vids DC, where can we get one of the DING hats? My offer still stands - kayaks hunting the VA state record LMB - say when.

I’ve lived a 1/4 mile from that boat launch for 20 years. Hope you enjoyed it DC. Cheers!
What was the name of the lake he was fishing ? Was it keuka?
Owasco
@@DCFishing Emmerson Park's two jetties is a dead giveaway. If he thought Owasco was clear, I wonder what his take on Skaneateles would have been.

You gave up some juicy fruit, but you're still not sharing the whole pack.... LMAO!!!!
All you pros have a system and keep a tight lid on it...I know!
