- In this video I show you guys how I use Navionics and google earth to help me find high percentage fishing spots before I even get to the lake. Hope you enjoy it and send me a lake near you and I might break it down in my next video. #fishgarmin #garminpro

Bradley, the way you talked about highways being interstates and where they are going to stop is so much better than most fisherman who use this method .
Glad it helped! Thanks 🙏
This was an awesome video. You are a good teacher Mr. Hallman.
Thanks Jon glad you liked it!
Great work Brad👍wish you the best on up coming season
Excellent video thanks for posting!
great video, This really helps me understand what to look for in a lake, I usually just run banks with no clue, and waste a lot of time, not knowing how to find the productive parts, ty again.
This is one of the most informative videos I’ve ever seen Brad. Thank you so much for putting this out here for guys like me who want to learn but don’t really have anyone to teach them!!!!
Absolutely! Thanks for continuing to watch.
Hey I have no idea why I'm just know seeing this since it's been on here for over a year, I watch most all of your videos and you do a really great job of explaining things so people that don't really fish as much as some of us do. Great job with all your content. Oh by the way, you got anything on Douglas Lake in East Tennessee? My buddy's have a derby there April 11. If not that's fine. Keep up the good work. Stay safe out there on and off the water. Tight lines and Semper Fi!
Lake James in North Carolina Great info
Thanks for this. I'm more of a hands on learner than a visual learner. But this definitely helped out
I shared this on my Facebook page for our high school fishing team lots of good info.
Thanks for the the share.
I enjoyed the why behind the location chosen.....I live in NE Arkansas.....smaller flat lakes
Thanks Tom
Very cool, thanks for the lesson!!!!
Yes Sir!
Thanks Bradley, great info! Google Earth Pro is a great tool 💯👍
Thanks for the break down information! Looking back at Sam Rayburn now from this weekends fishing trip to try and piece together where and why I got bit.
Great stuff Bradley!! If you have time could you breakdown Table Rock Lake. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the suggestion man I appreciate it love Table Rock!
I fish Ellsworth and Lawtonka as they’re just up the road from my house. Watching you break down this lake as fast as you did is pretty awesome. That brush line you found is one of my go to spots on Ellsworth. If you ever get the chance, come back down and fish lawtonka. You won’t be disappointed
I’ve heard that! Appreciate you sharing
So glad I found this, if you are still looking for lakes to do there is a lake here in Oregon that has a tone of pressure that would be interesting to see your take for summer fishing. Tenmile lakes, lakeside Or.
Excellent I’ll study this and follow thru with what I’ve learned on the High Desert lake here in Southern Utah !
KR
St. George, Utah
Love the video so much info that I hav es t thought about thankyou .
Bro you seem like a great person. I fish tournaments as a boater but when it comes to the bigger tournies like flw, u.s. open I fish as a non boater. Yes we all want to win but I always respect the boater and never want to give him a reason to have a gripe with me. You seem like the same kind of person. God bless you and I hope you have a fantastic 2021.
Appreciated
Great video, 79 and still learning. Excellent teacher. Thanks.
Thanks Richard appreciate the support
Very informative please do more
This was very educational. I like hearing you talk thru how you think about what you are seeing right as you are seeing it. That process translates quickly to other lakes. Please do more of these types of breakdowns!
Thanks for feedback. Will have a fall breakdown coming soon.
Not exactly a small Lake by any means but it would be interesting to see how you break down one of my favorite Lakes Clear Lake in California.
I may do that sometime it is very unique in that it’s a natural lake but does not lay out like one. I will keep this one in mind thanks for the suggestion!
Great information again! This is a freaking game changer for sure. I have commented back and forth with you about Weiss Lake . You said it’s a bucket list trip. So when you coming to north east Alabama and fishing Weiss. I’d love to see you fish all that TON of skinny backwaters on the upper end of the lake.
I have an aluminum bass boat that is absolutely a necessity up there and I have a nice extra bedroom for ya and a freezer
Full of crappie. FISH FRY
Thanks David!
I love this type of content thank you Bradley. When you have time, take a look at Raystown lake in central Pa. I would like a little help with where to start on this impoundment again thank you and take care .
Hi Bradley, enjoyed this video very much. I know you are from Oklahoma but I also know you are very well versed on Texas lakes. I would like to see you
break down Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend please, as these are the two lakes I fish most often!!! As a matter of fact, they are the only two I fish. I also realize that they are Really large lakes and it would be hard to cover the entire lake in one video, but I fish the south to mid lake areas in Toledo Bend,
and Black Forrest to and including Amish Bayou and Bear Creek areas. These are the areas I would be most interested in on both lakes. Thank you so much for your time and efforts!!! You do a.great job and you make it easy to follow and understand!!!
Really enjoyed this! Thanks!
👊
Great video!Thanks for making them!
Thanks 🙏 for the feedback
This is outstanding, thank you sir!!
Glad you liked it!
This would have been great to know 10 years ago... I would have prolly succeeded better at the long road trip first time lakes... now we know, now we know!
Thanks for another great few pointers appreciate it more then you know sir!
Hindsight is always 20/20 for all in all situations
Another great video again buddy! A++
Thanks again Luke!
HEY..... I just subscribed to your channel after watching this video.. You really broken it down for me, definitely something I will use after this quarantine is over. If you need a lake in Texas, Please breakdown Ray Roberts!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the suggestion and the scrib!
Would love to see you do this for some northern lakes for us northern guys
I have some natural lakes coming soon!
Good video keep up the good work
Chattanoga, TN Chickamauga Lake! Liking the channel! Great info!
Thanks man! So much out there on Chick already but I love that place!
This is so informative. Would love to see this for Lake Cumberland
Cumberland is a tough one with all the smallies
Love this I learned a lot from this video
Good deal!
Great video. Thanks a million.
Thank you
I have a more difficult time breaking down a larger lake. Get lost in the size. I would love to see you break down something larger like Grand Lake. We were supposed to fish it this week with my bass club and I’ve never been there, but like everything else, it got cancelled. I really enjoyed this video.
I have that in mind I swear. Lots of guys asking the same. I will get to I promise.
Awesome video Brad. I have never fished Lake Ellsworth for bass but look forward to the fishing video. I know u probably have fished Arbuckle, but would sure love for you to break it down. I caught a 10 lb there in June 2019.
Arbuckle has some awesome fish in it right now! Thanks for the feedback.
Well I'll take a shot here. My home lake is Foster Joseph Sayers dam in howard pa. Or another close lake is Raystown Lake in Huntingdon Pa. Would be cool to see a breakdown of one of those to see the way you would approach it. Another awesome video!!
Appreciate the suggestion I am going to do more than one so hang tight I may get to yours! Thanks for watching.
I am not really into fishing ran across your video very educational so I am a new sub I am enjoying this my husband and I have a v dive boat be careful out there
Thanks 😊
Thanks some good juice. Thanks Hallman
Just a tip worth noting: If you click on the navionics symbol on the lower left of screen you can choose sonar option. It will give you all the contour lines instead of just the basic lines navionics gives you.
Thanks very much for the feedback. That’s what this is about my friend!
Please do a easy TN lake. Our lakes are alot different from what you've done so far
Norris is a lot like the last one as is Melton Hill. I may do on for Watts Bar in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.
Got one in Missouri. 1700 acre lake. One major river channel then two major creeks. Grew up on the lake. Love the lake. Would like to see how you attack it. Clearwater lake in peidmont, Missouri.
Hey Mr Hallman
Would love to see you break down
Lake Catoma it’s in Cullman Alabama (Roll Tide)
But it’s a city lake it has giants in it but would love to see how you would break it down
Thanks for the suggestion!
Fantastic information sir! Madison Chain, WI is a glacial lake. Not much structure.
Natural lakes are on my agenda to come! Thanks for the feedback.
Fantastic video!
Thanks Kyle
Love this!
Thank you!
awesome info thanks man
You bet
Lake Pleasant in Arizona! This lake seems to get harder and harder to crack. It would be great to see a pro’s break down.
I’m going to do some west coast water! Thanks for the suggestion.
Could you do a breakdown of Taylorsville lake in Kentucky? Looking to learn about it more and get the kids out on it.
I’d love for you to do sante fe lake in Florida or the St. John’s river!!
St Johns has a good chance because it covers like three things with it being tidal, river, and natural
Bradley Hallman that would be awesome. Love the videos man.
Can’t wait to see how the trip goes now!
It’s coming next.
I know this video is a little older but if you're still interested in doing another lake. I'm a beginner and I tried to do my local lake but I wouldn't mind seeing how good I did by someone like you doing it. Okmulgee lake. It's a pretty small lake
Good stuff
This is awesome! Can’t wait to see more.
More to come soon.
Hey Brad, would love for you to break down my home lake of Lake Greenwood in South Carolina. Love the videos man. Lee
Thanks for the suggestion I will keep it in mind. Blueback lake?
Yes it has blueback hearing.
Lake Anna, Virginia would be great to see broke down
Awesome Video! Really appreciate you taking the time to make an informative video like this.
Thanks.... have more coming soon
I don't have any lakes nearby but I have several river systems. I would like to see you break down a section of Altamaha river near Jesup ga.
Thank you for this series! This is such a tremendous help. I learned a lot.
Glad you like it!
Nice job
Ok, I would like to see you break down lake of the Arbuckle’s when the fish are not spawning. Haha
Ok 👌 this is the one we all want! That place can get stingy in the summer. I feel your pain and have struggled there just like everyone else at times out of the spawn.
Great break down. If you can get to it Pomme de terre north of Springfield Mo.no grass all rocks with some trees and brush
Thanks for the suggestion man truly appreciated.
@@BradleyHallmanFishing It would cool to see if you break it down like I do to see if I am on point thanks
Im like you If i'm not catching fish I go back to the river channel and work my why in from here follow the highway and it always works
You should do Bankhead lake on the black warrior river in Alabama. It's a really unique lake that I would love to see your perspective on!
That river system is a unique in itself! Love the idea man thanks.
Excellent Hallman! Really is going to help me out. Can’t wait to see you fish it. Thanks!
That video is coming next! Thanks
Excellent instructional breakdown.
Every pro angler who breaks down Oklahoma lakes never seem to get past Grand. I am very glad you do. How about Skiatook Lake, my base camp, if you please? Thanks,
Absolutely love to do that one as well! Thanks for the suggestion. I’m with you Grand has been beaten like a dead horse. Although that is the pond I probably know the best just because that’s where all the money has gone down over the last 20 years.
Killing it bud
Just Working and Grinding!
Great insight! Do Pueblo Red in Colorado
Colorado is an interesting idea. I know a little about those lakes.
Bradley Hallman just moves here the last year and just picked up a bass in January ready to hit the water. Problem is with all the closures can’t get the boat registered anytime soon.
I have 5 lakes I’m gonna research in Texas and one here in New Mexico where I have lived since 95 and fished.
Great video! Thanks for the insight.
Thank you
This is awesome! Do more of these! I like the idea of you going out and putting it into practice on lakes around you. I'm up in MN so would love to see you do one up around me and how you break those type of lakes down, even thought you couldn't do the follow up part.
Thanks Matt. I have had lots of request for a natural lake breakdown. I will definitely do one in the future for maybe a summer or fall pattern.
@@BradleyHallmanFishing Look up Leech Lake in Cass County MN or Green Lake in Kandiyohi for a couple good ones to break down in MN, we only have about 11,000 to choose from!
Bankhead Lake - part of the Warrior River in Alabama and Lay Lake in Alabama
I have an Alabama lake coming tomorrow bro!
thank you for sharing what most certainly is many years of experience! Most guys would not be so forthcoming . Well done Bradley! and thanks again.
Thanks Tim
I am so glad I stumbled upon your channel. Great information without all the bravado that some have.
Briery creek lake FarmVille va would be great! Awesome lake it’s known as the pig pin
Cool nick name!
Great video Dude! Keep’em coming! Best map study breakdown I’ve seen.
Appreciate that!
Great information. Would love to have you do the same for Northern CA. Lake Berryessa or the Delta. Thanks.
West coast is coming soon!
Great Job Bradley, this is my first time watching one of your videos, this was GREAT very educational. Just subscribed looking forward to more content. I may be a little lake but a break down of Lake Hopatcong in NJ would be awesome. Thank You
Thanks for the suggestion Juan!
Great video Brad. I learned a lot watching it. Thank you for making this video.
Appreciate you watching!
Great video! Could you try a northern lake up in NY. We got a lot of natural lakes with deep water and fairly straight without obvious creek channels so its kinda hard to apply some of the concepts you went over in this video. Check out Conesus Lake or Hemlock Lake in NY. Thanks!
I’m going to do a natural lake for sure! Thanks for the suggestion.
Canyon Lake in Canyon Lake TX, just outside of San Antonio!
Thanks for the suggestion. I will look at it.
Another great video Bradley...... I enjoy your perspective of how you break a lake down...Our styles are very similar... Question: You stated that you will drop way points on specific areas....... Do you do that on the Navionics web app and import it into your electronics or will you just physically pull up your mapping on the units and do it there.... Still working on being more tech savvy.... but importing the way points from couch research would be awesome.... Thanks again for the great info.....
Garmin Active Captin! It’s a big deal for me. On my iPad I drop waypoints and the all I have to do is carry to my boat and when I go fishing they are loaded by WiFi
Bradley Hallman dude... That's perfect.... Running Lowrance and as I stated before... Running behind on doing this... Thanks for the response....!!!!!
Thank you Bradley.
I learned a tremendous amount . I am working with a local radio station here in Lake Havasu , Arizona to get a talk show started. A break down of our lake would go a long way . We have snow birds come every year and want to know how to fish this lake and your information would be most helpful. Thanks again for considering us,
Awesome idea with the everyone landing to winter there. Thanks for the suggestion.
Just go ahead and go to Meade. You can fish in a little puddle and hope you don’t hook into a dead body. They have found 4 already. That was a beautiful lake. I don’t think it’s going to come back up being in the middle of the desert.
This might be one of the most informational videos on bass fishing I’ve watched on TH-cam for a bass angler. Outstanding job man
Thank you bud! Just trying to make something worth watching.
You should do a show on Frederick Lake. You're an Oklahoma angler and I'm curious how you would break it down. It looks a lot like dirty bird. I'm talking chocolate milk. I've got some really big bass out of it but some days I catch zero. I dont know where they go when I cant catch em on the bank.
I will look it up and see. I’m always game for Okie lakes. It’s probably like Tbird in that it has big fish but not a lot of fish. I have days a Tbird that suck! It happens
New to your channel and love it! Great work. Keep giving out real and good advice and you'll grow like TB. We know the channels that don't give much real info and they usually don't last. Again, great work
Thanks Rocket Man
Love this 💪🏻
Great video! Would love to see a breakdown of Belton Lake or Stillhouse Hollow Lake near Belton, TX. Keep up the great videos! Let's all get out and fish!
Appreciate the feedback
Bradley, Awesome video! Looking forward to the next video and the on the water comparison! Be safe out there!!
Thanks it’s coming next!
Awesome, I feel like I waited my whole life for this video.
Thanks Noah more to come!
Man my daughter lives In Oklahoma City, I’m in north east Ohio. Mosquito lake is my home field tons of grass heavy fishing pressure derby’s every weekend and Thursday nighters. Great population of healthy fish I think there’s a state record in there. It can humble the best. I’ve had 16 lb days and in a bfl two years ago I didn’t get bit. After 29lbs in two practice days, very frustrating. It doesn’t have a lot of obvious features but there’s plenty of hidden of shore stuff. Curious how you would break it down. I love Navionics and google earth greatest thing since white bread lol. Thanks for sharing it’s awesome. Peace and God bless brother.
Side image little sneaky places is usually the best bet on places like this. Also google earth if you can find pic with the water really low gives you a good starting point to side image. Good luck out there and don’t forget the brush piles!
@@BradleyHallmanFishing thanks I have seen some of the google earth at drawdown so many things exposed, especially spawning areas. This year though the water didn’t come up early enough for them big girls to go to the bank, they spawned in 5-6’ in the big weed openings. Totally changed everything. Now I’m finding bigger fish in 10’ weed lines. It’s pretty amazing how they adapt to certain situations. I have Garmin 93sv and panoptix really awesome images. I’ll really pick it apart after I locate with side image go back with panoptix and see who’s eating. Thanks again.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I'll put it to good use.
Awesome! Hope it helps you.
Great video. A lot of good info. Keep up the good work and keep them coming. Anxious to see you fish this lake to see how it looks compared to maps and how you do. Good luck.
Thanks Rick it’s on there! Think my boy catches his PB on one of the highlighted spots!
Awesome video. I would like to see lake Monroe in Bloomington Indiana
Thanks for the suggestion!
How far off the bank do you start when fishing the points in a spawning creek?
Lake Whitney in Texas resembles grand in some ways
Thanks for the suggestion.
