This is super ironic cuz I watched your first King Arthur video just yesterday. Started playing Skul recently as it dropped on PlayStation Plus, and ended up finding your channel because of that. I've been stuck on Level 1 Dark Mirror for about 10 runs now, and it feels like I've wasted 8 hours. I wish the meta progression was fleshed out a bit more.

Aaaaaaa all my favorite stuff got buffed in this update but THE SWITCH VERSION DOESN'T HAVE 1.9.0 YET!! Dominator is also the type of skul who focuses as a warmonger skull or in the past he was alive to only wish to rule the world with an iron fist.😅 muscle version as well
I still think the best bonus for maxed fairy tale is +1 inscription, and the extra damage gets baselined. The biggest problem with Oberon runs is that you are severely limited on your inscriptions, and treasure 4's +1 inscription has even more bonuses while being far easier to attain.
I feel the optimum evolution to have titania should be a new quintescence to add to the needed collection. It could even BE titania, but if you have oberon it also summons her as a permanant summon

Just beat the first part of the game and saved the demon king! I had a really strong duo with the absolute and the ninja master and an absurd health pool of about 380. Love the game.

I really wished that they made it so that slyph, gnome, and salamander (I think that's the names) combined into 1 item and maybe some of the exsisting pair items also combined. It'd allow for some flexibility and space. Also obberon should increase all the other tags of the fairy tail items by 1. (Excluding Omen) It'd be an interesting way to make it better then just more damage though I don't disagree that more damage would be nice.
I actually got a natural 5 fairies plus the blessing once BEFORE dark mirror got introduced, so essentially I got all fairytale items from pure luck lmao
Titania could be transform to legendary quintessence like king Dwarf. 0-4 fairies the quint does a heal over time max 10hp and at 5 fairies it transforms to Legendary Titania that does an instant 15hp heal and 10% max hp damage to enemies(5% max hp to adventures and bosses)
I'm not surprised the damage falls off near the end. I had the same experience in my Oberon run a little while ago. The buff only applying to the last 2 bosses makes it almost worthless, as I didn't even want to bother with dad when I saw how much my damage dropped. I thought you would do far better than me. I guess Oberon is still weak, and the flashy effects don't help.
I would have prefered you only rig in 3 items like last time: The Omen, Lou, and the Blessing. That way you got the hardest items to acquire out of the way and still had a good use for gold. That's what I do with a lot of my themed runs, with the only exception being the skulls they added before Dominator because they each have 4 items made for them.

Ik it’s hard to edit videos like this but i wish I could watch more before work or at night but they’re longggg. Which is good in moments but still. As for the "bite size" videos, when I first started following you in mid 2021 after I got Skul, a lot of your videos were much more heavily edited, at least with Skul content; cuts between rooms if nothing interesting happened, even cuts in boss fights if the fight was going long. I personally prefer the full run (sometimes) but I didn't dislike that video format either
Personally i believe salamander deserves a transformation like the water spirit like an amulet of hellfire or smh would be pretty neat dont ya guys think si
So...two things. One, inscription machines. Second, has anyone considered trying to turn things like Oberon or Suonisio into modded Skulls themselves, so you can experience their power with more control?
I’ve only done the fight a few times but dark skul seems like more of a punishing fight than dad, dad has a lot of hard to dodge attacks but only a few that really do that insane damage, dark skul feels the other way around, he doesn’t have that many insanely hard to evade moves but everything he does hurts so much
I feel the complete opposite about it. Dark Skul doesn't have any armour penetration on any of his attacks, so defensive builds can completely negate him. Ghoul walks all over that fight with ease. An Ent build would also laugh at him. Dad on the other hand has built in armour penetrating effects on some of his more dangerous attacks so you can't deal with it exclusively thanks to the build. Dad forces you to fight him better. Same logic goes for the alexander fight because he doesn't have any armour pen either. To me, dad is still the main fight that can screw over a run at the end, even under ideal circumstances.
I have yet to try a defensive build against skul and also when I get more familiar with his move set I may come to the same conclusion but currently dad feels telegraphed, slower, and doesn’t shave nearly as much health, I suppose dad is the tank counter and skul is the glass cannon counter because I’ve been hit by his meteorite strike ult for 200 damage and died.
@Beelz you know how you said it's unrealistic to get all of them in one run without insane luck well your right my first win in skull after picking it up on console was due to Oberon and the game was such a tease cause it gavee every fairy tale item, all of them except for light spirit Lou😢, I even had a prince box that had the fairy tale inscription on it that got replaced with the gold ring at the end and then my first run after unlocking the omen chests I had reaper and all the fairy tale inscriptions again even desair but again no light spirit Lou the game absolutely refused to give me my perfect Oberon run😭😂
I was literally just finishing a run where i couldnt find the the last fairytale. Little did i know how close to greatness i was. Random side question do the hero fights change because i fought ninja but he had his clone out for i 90% of the fight. May have been the whole time but i got lost in the sauce and couldnt see the slippery bugger
yo beelz you should do a jack in the box clown run all physical and build it around hidden blade and tons of crit items ex: Gps hunters long bow and also have hope slasher it melts bosses
i kinda wish a hollow knight based skull was in here because, the head of little ghost(player character because little ghost is not named hollow knight) could be like a skull pretty easily and it is either a rare or uni and then as it goes up it could either get taller and legendary becomes the hollow knight because that would be a funny nod of how the fanart usually makes adult little ghost look. or you could go the skul route like how they did with prisoner from deadcells
oh and the attacks could be sword swings in all directions and the skills could be 4/5 at rare his skills would be his 3 spells and his lil pets. etc. actually imma make a full thing of this hold

I'm not saying I find it boring but it isn't as fun when we just start a run with items already started like the previous video where we "showed off how good the dominator was" which is yeah its pretty damn good but also it kinda ruins the find the items and build crafting when you are already nearly guranteed to complete the run everytime from the start. I do understand it is meant to be more of a "what this build COULD do" but also just like the dominator video it is so out of reality of what would normally happen in a run

Just did my first Oberon build, on accident. I was working on Sword Skul with brawl, when I picked up Grim Reaper. The items just fell together.(PS5)

Shield breaks for 5, Clown breaks for 11. By swapping them out Clown gets broken and Shield is traded. I wanted to keep Skul himself.

I still am of the opinion that ideal Oberon is five (5) fairytale and the rest in the beefiest magic damage items you can stuff in. Nether Mana Suppressor, early Stone of the Heir, etc, taking care to get 4 Wisdom and 2 Artifact. Now I know what yer thinkin, "At that point, why even bother with Oberon?"
