I thoroughly enjoyed Expiry Dating. Not even because there's 3 Doctors in the story, it was just a really good premise. You could feel the Doctor really begin to trust River.
The conversations via psychic paper plot device was inspired too.

I thought there were a lot of great River episodes. At the very least she propped up weaker episodes. I love River.
Hi Mr TARDIS, I noticed recently that you've retroactively added to Dalekcember with your recent Revolution of the Daleks review, I was wondering if you plan on reviewing any Dalek audio stories in the future as part of Big Finish Friday? I'd love to hear your thoughts on some of the classics like Jubilee, The Juggernauts, Blood of the Daleks etc but also some of the newer Dalek audios like Order of the Daleks and We Are The Daleks. I really liked your Big Finish Cybercember reviews and there are some really good Dalek audio stories out there that are as good as the best Dalek TV stories
I only now realise I have a lot of improved feelings for the River Song character because of her box sets done by big finish. Already pre-ordered the next release due later this month with her and various robots from the series. Her having her own adventures where she can be morally dubious but still an engaging protagonist is really great, and in my opinion redeems her from stuff like "Let's kill hitler"
Imagine if David Tennant was in series 5, so he was in Time Of Angels.
I actually can. (since I can see him bring there is honestly, the script/performance wouldn't really change as all.)

This has been on my to buy list since release, but I'm so relieved to know that this River is more in character to her Silence in the Library appearance.
I'm still very new to Big Finish so this one might be one of the first stories I'll try out

You should check out the Diary of River Song series; especially the fifth one with four different versions of The Master with River
Haven’t listened to any big finish for a while, but you convinced me to buy within 5 mins of this video. Loving it so far, the scene with the fifth Doctor is brilliant

I haven't listened to any major River Song Big Finish stories as I wasn't a fan of the character in the TV Series. But she's in the first story of the Legacy of Time and she was written a lot better and worked better with Paul McGann's Doctor. I just don't want to dedicate a lot of money to a character I never invested in

The Day Of The Doctor already display 10 and River together before her death and his regeneration. Unfortunately, it was written by Steven Moffat so details the fact that they were in a roman bath together and The Doctor refused to remove his clothes, whereas River...eugh

Overall I'm not a big fan of River these although I do like The Husbands of River Song. I did listen to first series of the Diary of River Song but I wasn't very impressed so I haven't carried on with that. I was kind of Curios about this boxset but Masterful was higher on the priority list maybe someday.

That's exactly how I felt and Davidson and Billie Piper did the exact same thing and Billie Piper's character Rose till the doctor she loves him and you faded out and couldn't even said in 2 minutes to talk on and on and on about the other stuff that didn't matter to me but he could not would not say I love you I don't think it's the fact that the doctor is a romantic I think it's the fact that the doctor is afraid of commitment and relationship sorry doctor that's what I think we're all that's right you proved me right
You lost me at cringe worthy. She is iconic.
MR.TARDIS I Highly Recommend that you review one of the audios from the Doctor Who Unbound Range! It’s very underrated!
Also on a personal note: I don’t like River Song. I hate her attitude and how she consistently brags about all the things she’s done that make it sound like she’s trying to 1-up the Doctor. To be Honest she’s a rip-off of a many better and enjoyable character Bernice Summerfield.
What is an epilogue you throw words in that I don't even know what they mean that's a David Tennant move and I don't like it not him just that particular way of throwing something at someone

It's such a shame that you have to pay for individual stories. I'd love for Big Finish to do a subscription service, I reckon they'd really grow their audience that way. But I guess it probably won't work financially.
Audible is £7.99, Big Finish productions are like £9.99 for each story, doing tiered system would definitely work.

I suspect this is a software development issue. They're not willing to put the effort & money into the investment to provide a better service.
@@TonksMoriarty audible is owned by amazon, one of the richest corporations in the world. Big finish is an independent company whose releases sometimes take years just to sell enough to break even. Comparing the two is ridiculous.
