Everything you make and wear is just stunning and stylish! Your description of the tulip sweater makes me think it would not be out of reach for a new-ish knitter. The little orange top would be cute over a bathing suit, maybe paired with gauzy pants. I loved it!

You're too kind!!! Yes! You can absolutely knit the Tulip as a new-ish knitter. It is a simple raglan with a scalloped hem, but as I mentioned in my chat, there is a video that you can follow along with to help you knit-up the hemline. You can do it!!!

Thanks for the quick and dirty podcast Jennifer 😂 Looking forward to seing the finished slipover. The tulip sweater looks great on you. I am working on the "Knowe" cowl/caplet/snug? Not sure what others would call it...mini poncho? By Kate Davies. Using natural grey Alpaca from Brigadoon Fiber Farm in Hoyt, NB and other stash from Fleece and Harmony in PEI. Hope to see you soon! 🇨🇦🥰Sharon.

So happy you're here, Sharon! Yes, it was a quick and dirty one indeed.🤓 Your cowl/caplet/shrug sounds delightful in your choice of yarn. Sooooo autumnal, which I am drooling for right now!

I just cast off the Alpengluhen by Isabell Kraemer, a lovely little simply cable knit cardigan. I started it in July, knowing that I wanted it to be done by early fall! So happy it worked out! Love your podcast.

Hi!! I was wondering how you added the 10 stitches back in to the total stitchcount of the Tulip sweater, since you mentioned casting on 10 less stitches. I really want to knit the Tulip, but have been very hesitant because of the neckline. Your neckline however is perfect!!

Great question! I make the appropriate increases (to meet the stitch count of the pattern at the neckline) on the first row after my last rib row. So, for the Tulip, I increased 10 stitches in this row, before moving on to the next instructions of the pattern. I hope that makes sense.
