For those who want to knit their own version of the Sezane cardigan but aren't capable of designing their own pattern (like me), Kinvarra Cardigan by Minimi Knit Design is the pattern you're looking for on ravelry!
2:09 Some clarification polyamide and acrylic don’t have same properties. Acrilic is not for structure, it is either to make it cheaper, or easier to care (washing machine) or soemtimes for certain color/texture effect that is easier to get in acrylyc. Technically acrilic is a cheaper replacement for wool. Polyamide as you mentioned is for structure or durability (for example in socks). So when you strive for natural fabrics it is good to stay away from acrylic alltogether. When we are talking about polyamide, if you want durability or want to use a washing machine, 10% of poliamide is not too bad. If you can avoid it - great. but if it is a small amount, especially for certain projects (skirts, tight dresses, pants, socks, blankets) its good to have it!
I really appreciate you showing us your process... the sweater looks great. This sounds like it's going to be a great series! Thank you for doing this.
Beautiful! I'm loving this episode, I made my own Gaspard, a blue summer cardi, using the Lou Cardigan pattern, I just change the finishings to match the inspiration💙
Just found your channel -- and I'm amazed! Loved how you showed the process behind creating the pattern and then executing it to create such a beautiful garment. I tend to be so picky with what fiber arts content I watch, but the way you edit your videos is so appealing and fun to watch. Can't wait for the next installment of the series!
WOW… just wow! I’m amazed on how you started from an inspiration and ended up with a BEAUTIFUL cardigan❤️🙌🏽👏🏽. Your skills are incredible! This was so informative that now I’m feeling pretty inspired to attempt something like this even though I recently just started knitting 😂🤣😅. I’m so excited for more videos like this, maybe after watching a couple I’ll actually attempt it😇. Thanks for a great video!
I love your cardigan! I came across this video and was intrigued about the result... and you did it! it is really beautiful! I want to knit one myself now 😃
Thank you so much for this video! I have been trying to knit for a while.. but my nails keep breaking, especially my thumb nails.. I am going to keep trying.. so I can make this too!! I think, if you got the yarn in bulk it would be a lot more cost effective.
Woww woww woww. Great video and so impressive how great the sweater went. You have done a fantastic job. So lovely, i can not be prouder of you. Keep up the great work. My little artist ❤
I have the same issue with purl stitches and also started using a smaller needle on that side lol. Also - I just found your channel through this video, loved to see your process!
you can also try out russian/eastern purl - worked wonders for my tension, it does twist the knit stitches, but you do get used to it and imo it's worth it (easiest purl imo hands down)
That's a great job 🤩! My sister asked me to recreate the toteme sweater and it was an epic journey ! I made a series of videos about this journey on TH-cam ^_^ Having only photos to refer to is a tough task but I made it ! I can feel how proud you are and I totally relate :-)
I love your inspiration for this series, and your cardigan is absolutely stunning! Another pattern to consider is the Daydreamer cardigan by Kutovakika, which is an excellent dupe for the Emile cardigan by Sezane. (I just knit one in lilac, and it's a fun, quick, satisfying knit!)
@@colorlandpop I haven’t filmed a step by step tutorial for this and I’m not planning on reknitting it. But someone commented a pattern that would work well! It should be the top comment! 🌟
