I had an exam today, one of the questions was 'How do you define balance?' Of course, being a dank memer I responded with '4 Mana 7/7', Turns out that doesn't get full marks.
The right answer was 1 mana 1:2 get +1/+1 when you summon a minion with deathrattle

As a new player who doesn't get to have legendary cards.. I find this week's tavern brawl extremly satisfying ! :)
Also I want to point out about what you said about the legtimacy of 4 copies of each legendary, it is true.
kripp there are 6/7 legendaries.. multiply it by 4 you get 24/28 and then you have 6/2 offensive play cards. you're welcome :)

Not if your opponent is a Mage who has arch mage McFireball + a coin or Offensive Play. I'm speaking from experience here

+AnotherFuckingGamer While that can happen, that setup is beyond considering a legitimate threat game to game.
I had a lot of fun in this brawl. It actually involves strategy (usually) by deciding what to use the offensive play on and get out earlier/bring the game back. Of course it can happen that you or your opponent can get 4 copies of a 3 or 2 cost good legendary and just zerg them out early, but that is not really all that likely, though it did happen once in my 20-something games played. Over all, a perfect 5/7 from me.
I have to say the past few rounds of Tavern Brawls have been a blast.

Best moment of this Tavern Brawl so far:
Playing as Priest against a Rogue, I have Majordomo Executus on the field, and two Prophet Velens in my hands.Turn 7 I force him into a situation where he has to kill Majordomo and turning me into Ragnaros. Turn 8 I trade and he plays Hogger, Doom of Elewynn and drops me down to 2 HP. Turn 9 I droppped the second Velen and roll the dice, clicking my hero power.
32 to the face for 2 mana will kill just about anyone. :)
I actually won a triple cho play. The key is to play offensive play afterwards whichs means he gets 3 of those. He will probably play them right away afterwards which means you get maxed out. From there out it's easy, just play them each turn to prevent your opponent from drawing any new cards. The same thing will happen to you but if you got the stronger legendaries it means your opponent is forced to kill all Lorewalkers while all you need to do is protect them. Easy win and you get some awesome screenshots out of it!

Thats why you use your offensive play turn 1
If I am without the coin and I see mukla I immediately Mulligan every other card. Turn 1 offensive play into triple Mukla puts 15 power into play and burns their offensive play it is the single strongest play available in this brawl.
Someone did 2 on turn 1 and another on turn 2, likely to say I won with my Darkbane and Fjola Lightbane lol

4 vancleefs with coin puts over 30 damage on board on turn one. That is the strongest possible turn
Looking back, I really wish I had taken a record of it when it happened, but I had a pretty cool brawl win against a strong opponent opener. I am first, I pass, and then my opponent OP's out 2 Mukla's. However, I had a Fiola Lightbane in hand, so on turn 2 I dropped her and put 2 bananas on her. My opponent daggers up and trades his board in so I don't just demolish him with my remaining 2 bananas. He ended up conceding though, as soon as I dropped my topdecked 2nd Fiola on the next turn.
Kripp, i think you've miss understood it.
It's ment in that way; You'll get random legendarys in your deck, not every single legendary.
But every random legendary that is in your deck, is in it x4.

I had a great run yesterday with 3 Loathebs. Coined out the first one with the 3 mana reduction and played one each turn. :D GG turn 3
best one is 3 muklas in opening hand, milled your enemy for his "offensive play". Concede

If you know you're going to use it, casting the offensive play straight away stops an opponent with cho from getting another copy. And it works across turns.

It's always fun when your opponent plays 2 chos and you just start multiplying the offensive plays and eventually you both have a board full of expensive cards on turn 6.

Legend has it, that their still asking people for the artifact..
The one good thing to be said about this brawl is that it's quick. You often see who is going to win by turn 2 - 3, and even if not the games rarely drag on for long. By far the worst RNG brawls are the ones where games take forever and once they're over you realize you never even had a chance because RNGsus decided to fuck with you.

16:12 takes Kripp 8 seconds to calculate 1/(2^5 * 6) correctly to the third decimal

I've had a blast with this one. I've won 22 so far. One time I started off with 4 Elise.. Was fun at 1 mana. Also the skeletons are fun as well as once I had 3 lothebs and they couldn't use thier 0 mana legendary card lol
i had the most sucess with hunter. the access to thise early game legendaries were great
This was my favourite brawl back when I played.
I was F2P, so I didn't use kegendaries very often.
I was also very bad at the gane

There's actually a total of 31 cards in your deck in this brawl. If you go second you can see that your deck counts 24 cards, while you have four in your hand= 28. But as your first turn starts the three Offensive Plays are shuffled into it.
I see quit a bit of people didn't like this brawl, but I actually quite liked it
I hope Blizzard sees how popular this one is and goes full Deck of Legends sometime soon after this.
I had a full hand of Soggoth the Slitherer's on day 1, around 8 soggoths and 1 coin... so yeah, there's way more than 4 copies.

My opponent played Ragnaros on turn 2 and 3 - but I got really lucky and turned both into squirrels right away :p Actually won that game. Funniest stuff that happened today xD

If someone wonders about the question kripp asked (if there is any legendary to buff C'thun so the twin emperor spawns his buddy), yes there is. In one game i played 4 mistcallers so my cthun was on 10/10 and the twin emperor summoned his friend ^-^
@kripparian thought about damn thaurissan? Instant win if you play it turn 2/3. Oh and the game selects random legendaries at the beginning of the game and then gives you 4 of that one. Can be duplicates, so if the last one is a dupe of another one, you only get 1 because of the offensive play cards.

How I interpreted it is that there are 4 other copies of a random legendary so there are 5 copies of some legendary, making it so each deck has 6 different legendaries in it.
Emperor Thaurissan is amazing in this. I have yet to lose a game when he is in my opening hand. :3
Craziest opener I've had so far was millhouse manastorm into offensive play into three vancleefs. Lol craziest shit ever.
Playing Gormok there was beyond stupid. Even without what ended up happening. KRIPP screws a legendary comeback.
I preferred Tavern Brawl 51, 2 classes was some of the funniest times I've ever had.
It was somewhat meh for me. Would have worked a lot better if you could have built your own multi-classed deck.

one of my games.... i control early board and put him to 24 health, deathwing comes down on turn 7, and turn 8 I finish with offensive play + quad leeroy.
i got offensive play, 3 times millhouse and 1 nat pagle + coin in my hand on turn 1. could play all of these, gg :D luckiest hs moment of my life :D
I've never gone through a full deck, but in my experience there were 5 legendaries and 4 copies of those which would leave 5 offensive plays in the deck.
Do you even math? 5x2 = 20 + 5 = 25. But there are 30 cards in a deck.

You have the gall to ask if I even math? Since when does 5x2 = 20? I said 5 cards and 4 copies of them. that mean 5x1 and then 5x4 5+20=25. Add 5 offensive plays and you get 30.
Jiian Sure I might've accidentally typoed 5x4 as 5x2. Doesn't matter though, because we're both wrong. The deck has THREE offensive play cards, but the first card exceeds the card limit, so it's a 31 card deck. It has seven legendaries, four copies of each, plus three offensive plays. That's 4x7 = 28 + 3 = 31.
Btw if you claim you have four copies of X, it means you have four identical cards, it does not mean you have 1+4 identical cards.

I got 8 Nat Pagles in one. As well as the rest of my deck being Bran, Elise, Nozdormu, and Prophet Velen.
At 16:40 he says if he had Gormok he would've won, but wasn't "wasting" Gormok earlier the only reason he lived till this turn? He was at 4 HP and Gormok absorbed 6 damage (A hit from Chromaggus). Am I missing something?
He's talking about the quantum possibility of both states being true at the same time, having played gormok and still having it in hand.
Simply put, Kripp wants to have the cake and eat it too.
just played a game against Kripp in the tavernbrawl, i drew 1 Feugan, 1 Eydis and 6 Malganis. I did not live to see Malganis.

anyway this brawl was awesome. Not sure why people are complaining so much about luck. Strat is to mulligan for midgame duplicates, tempo from there

Fear the 4 cho combo. I had the same reaction and went face, however after a few turns of just facing he spams about 4 offensive plays taking up like 10 minutes just going through them, filling my entire hand and repeatedly doing it over and over again to waste as much time possible. I conceded just out of pure fucking boredom.
The way i is intended is you have 4 different copies of 7 legendaries and you automatically get one offensive play at the start. The other two are shuffled into your deck so that makes 30 cards
In my second game, I got a full board of Mrrgltons down by turn 3 thanks to a legendary that gives you 3 copies of an allied minion. My opponent immediately conceded.

Golden Monkey was so OP in this brawl, you could literally turn your whole deck and hand into random legendaries KappaPride
I think druid and rogue are the best classes because of Malorne and especially Anub'Arak (probably best card in this brawl).

First game in this brawl, against a Sylvanas + Hogger, my legendary unlucky on this game.
The most powerful is Varian Wrynn imo. Had seen him only once in like over 50 matches.

I had a funny game s priest, got two confessors and two offensive plays through some crazy luck.so I played my 1 cost confessorturn three then it just spiraled out of control then I ended the game on a turn 4 victory

I recently got a Deck with Lorewalker Cho, Lvl 70 ETC, Yog, and That hunter legendary that activates all your deathrattles
Are you sure you play the game? There is no hunter legendary that activates all your deathrattles. There was a hunter card that does that (Feign Death), but 1) It's not legendary and 2) It's not in Standard.
Princess Huhuran is a legendary that activates a deathrattle of ONE minion.
