Her description of their final day together sounds like something a nurse or caretaker would do for an elderly patient in a nursing home. If she's going for spousal abuse theory, she's painting herself as the bad person in this relationship.

She smirked and smiled because she was on stage, the center of attention and is hoping to soak up loads of sympathy and concern from people. She thinks she's about to get people to think she's an amazing person who is always being victimized by everyone and gain their pity and support. Also, her lawyer asks about why she was surprised Jorge was interested in her because he wants to convince the jury that she has low self-esteem, feelings of worthlessness, and other poor self image traits like those who are abused/ have battered spouse syndrome often have. They want the jury to think she's very vulnerable to victimized by a predator. She even tried to spin getting engaged as her being victimized or coerced.
About the blown-up photos: when the defense tried to enter them into evidence the judge's response was like 'whoa, no way am I accepting those giant boards of photos already admitted into evidence... you can use them to demonstrate but they are yours to keep'. He definitely didn't want the state to have to store those boards...😂
Why then would you be leaving a baseball bat leaning against your diner table (you used on his hand coming out of the suitcase)? If you are constantly afraid of your life, Ma'am?
Thinking the moment someone is fearing for their life is the safe moment for you to have a conversation, that must be the whole NPD diagnosis, or maybe worst.
Boone's Farm, Mad Dog, Thunderbird, Night Train. Yes, Ian, we have had all the good stuff here south of the border. Hand me your best bottle of ripple, Sir!
I remember my classmates from high school would talk about getting Mad Dog and beer from the convince store in town that didn't card back then. Never had any of that stuff, but have drank some of the cheap wines. Wine coolers became popular when I was in my early 20's. BTW, I currently have a bottle of Arbor Mist in my fridge.
If you were to object to all of this leading you would miss out on her admission of motive, why she unlawfully confined him; to force him to listen, and impose her will on him. it wasn't playing, or fun, or accidental, she saw him vulnerable and saw her chance to abuse his position for her own gain. This isn't exculpatory testimony, she's admitting to unlawfully confining him so she can badger him while he's defenseless, force agreements while under duress, or just retaliation for her "constantly scared and afraid" habit. This is pure gold, and the prosecution is going to use every word of it to their benefit
Around 1:58:00 it's giving me serious Amber Heard vibes. "Please stop doing this to me" "It was a split second decision to hit him". Ma'am, he's fighting for his life after you put him in danger. You preventing him from getting out of a life threatening situation isn't self defense. Him desperately trying to free himself from the confinement you caused him to be in does not warrant you taking a baseball bat to his hands, body, and face.
I think people make more grammatical errors when they are lying, they keep wanting to change what they are about to say, so they say things like, "I hid into our shower." She was trying to choose between 'went into' and 'hid in', but she is mentally overtaxed with the lying, also being kinda dumb.
@@valerielevasseur8674 what was my comment? I don’t see it now.. but I am in recovery too, if I made an off-color joke, my apologies! I meant no harm 💜
Okay, I admit to not reading all of the comments, but in her testimony, am I the only one to notice that she states that George’s ‘threat’ was that he was going to ‘fucking end her’? And interestingly, that was EXACTLY her words used in her text to whomever about what she was going to do about George, shortly before she ‘ended’ him?!? This woman is just sick evil.
I am going to edit this to add that I am a survivor of DV. I woke up to someone strangling me. So yeah. I may be a bit biased. 🤷♀️ THAT being said, their vernacular may have been the same after being together for however long. Just something that stood out to me. And I believe in ‘equal opportunity abuse’. As sick as that sounds, it IS the truth.
I'm watching this early on Friday morning at 3:52 a.m.. I didn't get a chance to watch it yet. Today in the audio and different police cam videos she made of them in today's was were very telling that she was extremely controlling and abusive to Jorge. It was so eerie and creepy and gut wrenching to watch especially knowing he died being locked in a suitcase at her hands! Intentional or NOT! I think she probably forced Jorge into the suitcase with the baseball bat after watching that evidence! It was utterly sickening to see how she treated him! It's been bothering me all night. Hence, that's why I am still up at this time! I'm SO GRATEFUL to hear your response to her behavior, and you hadn't even seen this new evidence they published close to the end of today! I think she might be a sadistic psychopath more than a Narssissit! Hopefully the jurors see who she really is and put her away! Thanks for making me feel normal!😜 Bwahahaha! Thanks again! ❤🍁❤
Hi Runkle! Replay crew here. I understand your response to her dominance - yuk. However, i think you might be missing the point of her testifying... She wanted to tell her story & believed she was sympathetic. I think she limited her defense counsel so she could do that. She went thru 8 other lawyers because that was her goal - to tell HER story.
3:03:25 the 1.75 l bottles are called handles because usually the bottle itself has a handle on it. I’ve only ever heard the big bottles called the a handle. The small ones are usually called like a pint or a half.
RUNKLE, You don't need two different calendars because of the holidays. The calendars I get in the US have holidays listed for multiple countries. Just make sure the printer includes holidays for the countries you want to sell this in.
Yes but if it’s a U.S. calendar they always say “Canadian Thanksgiving” and the other is just “Thanksgiving” if they list both. It’s kinda annoying and I’m American 🇺🇸 😒
Sorry Ian, this case brings up so much trauma for me. I advocated for a narcissist once, and this case has brought back nightmares of that case 20+ years ago. I still ask myself, WTF is wrong with humans??? I prefer non-verbal Children over adults with an agenda.
That she has the nerve to trash talk her ex, after all he has done for her, and while he is raising the son alone, shows her true character…in addition to being a crap mom, mean drunk, and murderer.
She doesn't miss an opportunity to throw him under the bus. How many times does she have to tell us that he doesn't have a job? Yet Sarah does not work and lives off her ex-husband!
from what sarah said during her testimony, I think SHE get's bored very easily. So she thinks up all the stuff to do and ropes (aka forces) jorge to do them as well bc she doesn't want to do them alone. Even if the guy seems like someone who'd like to chill or maybe play some videogames but not paint some picture his fiancee/girlfriend forces on him.
I'm so glad this case is over and she didn't get away with it- no thanks to the judge or the prosecutor. 1:12:55 Sidney takes a nap in Scream (spoilers?) immediately after school the day the school announces 2 students had their lives taken the day before. However, it's not like she gets attacked by Ghostface and while being attacked, runs to her room and locks the flimsy bedroom door and goes to bed. It's just the closest I could think of. 2:23:10 Yeah, the prosecutor was disappointing, but why isn't this a sufficient argument?? She was committing assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment, but she gets to argue self defense? Is this judge really trying to tell me that if I get kidnapped, I f'ing better not injure my kidnapper or I am going to be charged? Is that REALLY what this judge is saying? If I get attacked by someone wielding a baseball bat, and I curse at them to f'ing stop beating me, they're justified in finishing the job because my cursing victimized them? That can't be how laws work. That can't be reality. 2:23:43 ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I know this guy is an old white man, but consent can be revoked at ANY TIME, and once that consent is revoked and the imprisonment doesn't end, it's no longer consensual- it's a crime. JFC, Owens, stop telling on yourself. Actually, the "old white guy" I guess explains why Kraynick agrees that Jorge victimized Sarah Boone by revoking consent. 2:27:45 No. Are you seriously telling me that as long as I say it was self-defense, I can go and m-word any random person I want to and legally I can argue self-defense? I can fly to Florida and announce that some random stranger is actually stalking me and threatening my life, and I can make up things they said to me, like racial slurs, for example, and that's self defense? I get to put the random stranger on trial, no problem? No. That's the dumbest thing I have EVER heard. That makes me want to go spend a bunch of quality time with Jorge Torres, Betty White, Albert Einstein, my grandmother, and George Floyd and never think of how stupid life actually was again. 2:29:23 I swear to GOD, if you lock me in a suitcase and do not open it when I say to open it, I guess you absolutely could argue self defense because I will get spicier than Runkle likes in his hot sauce about exactly what will happen when I get out- your life will be in danger. Especially if I know where you sleep. (I literally told my partner that if he ever fails to unzip a suitcase I'm in for more than 2 minutes and he wants to survive, he better Sarah Boone me.)
After their rebuttal closing argument we know, why the prosecutors didn't object to the leading or hammer her more on cross. With those new videos all the lies here became clear af. No need to hammer "the poor battered spouse" or have her scramble for some explanations.
Watching this again after watching the rebuttal videos, I think her lawyers actually did great with getting her to come across more likable. It's just that they had so much of a task in getting her to be less snide about everyone around her that getting her face under control was something they just couldn't get to.

I felt like I had to wash my brain with shampoo because it was so heavy and shocking to me but then again she is so unaware of how awful she truly is. 1:12:06 our chocolate Lab always gave us away when we played hide and seek. Indoors or outdoors - she would sit about 3 feet from someone in hiding.
Mr Runkle - you always make me laugh. I thank you for your humour!!
1:10:30 Did she just say that after being tagged it, she went to hide? Does Sarah not even understand how hide and seek works?
Yes, and also yes.
Wow! Runkle! You were up late streaming! Replay crew after midnight!
Wonderful fundraising cause! Love it! 24 hour livestream = amazing! Your calendar looks terrific- how awesome. Good form!
Replay crew here ° thanks for covering this and the commentary
Abused people certainly do not talk and act in the way she does. Abusers do
About the blown-up photos: when the defense tried to enter them into evidence the judge's response was like 'whoa, no way am I accepting those giant boards of photos already admitted into evidence... you can use them to demonstrate but they are yours to keep'.
Thanks for your coverage 🎉 Ms Boone also needed to watch her face at cross exam, she's noticeably more hostile towards the prosecutor.
Him desperately trying to free himself from the confinement you caused him to be in does not warrant you taking a baseball bat to his hands, body, and face.
ohh she definitely studied that book about BSS and was acting it.
I think people make more grammatical errors when they are lying, they keep wanting to change what they are about to say, so they say things like, "I hid into our shower." She was trying to choose between 'went into' and 'hid in', but she is mentally overtaxed with the lying, also being kinda dumb.
But she got straight A’s! Oh… in Alcoholics Anonymous lol
@Mstunner What does this mean to you? It sounds like you have something against alcoholics in recovery, and maybe AA itself. Am I getting this wrong?
@@valerielevasseur8674huh? This person doesn’t mention AA or drinking or anything that you said?
@@valerielevasseur8674 what was my comment? I don’t see it now.. but I am in recovery too, if I made an off-color joke, my apologies! I meant no harm 💜
"I decided to maintain and focus him."
Classic battered wife syndrome behavior!!!
(not)
She tried to study for battered wife syndrome, like she's fooling anyone..she's a ridiculous little narcissist isn't she
Okay, I admit to not reading all of the comments, but in her testimony, am I the only one to notice that she states that George’s ‘threat’ was that he was going to ‘fucking end her’? And interestingly, that was EXACTLY her words used in her text to whomever about what she was going to do about George, shortly before she ‘ended’ him?!? This woman is just sick evil.
I am going to edit this to add that I am a survivor of DV. I woke up to someone strangling me. So yeah. I may be a bit biased. 🤷♀️ THAT being said, their vernacular may have been the same after being together for however long. Just something that stood out to me. And I believe in ‘equal opportunity abuse’. As sick as that sounds, it IS the truth.
Oh, wow, I didn't notice that. Great observation!
Replay crew here! I agree with S Tier judges... but would add judge from Darryl Brooks!
After Thursday in court, her testimony is even more gross. 🤮
Thanks for making me feel normal!😜
Bwahahaha!
Thanks again!

I was up til the early hours too after the rebuttal videos. I think we all need some Runkle-isms today 🙏🏻❤️

1:56:36 who grabs a baseball bat to “poke”? She’s still trying to minimise. No chance of seeing remorse or her taking accountability.

The whole story of hide and seek is obviously just to cover up something. I think it was how she tricked George into getting into the suitcase.
“Even by horror movie logic” love it😂😂😂😂
Referring to the controlling nature of Boone: “I’d FLEE and go into Witness Protection…” 😆😆 Same here. And definitely no puzzles for me.
Sorry Ian, this case brings up so much trauma for me. I advocated for a narcissist once, and this case has brought back nightmares of that case 20+ years ago. I still ask myself, WTF is wrong with humans??? I prefer non-verbal Children over adults with an agenda.
Boone's Farm is also in the US. It's in the bracket of cheap wines, like Mad Dog.
Runkle I was surprised there were not more objections.
from what sarah said during her testimony, I think SHE get's bored very easily. So she thinks up all the stuff to do and ropes (aka forces) jorge to do them as well bc she doesn't want to do them alone. Even if the guy seems like someone who'd like to chill or maybe play some videogames but not paint some picture his fiancee/girlfriend forces on him.
As a 🇨🇦 living in 🇺🇸 your txgiving comment was hilarious 😂

Watching the parts i missed from the live 😊
2:28:57 Comes Now: Failure to Unzip
After their rebuttal closing argument we know, why the prosecutors didn't object to the leading or hammer her more on cross.
With those new videos all the lies here became clear af. No need to hammer "the poor battered spouse" or have her scramble for some explanations.
Watching this again after watching the rebuttal videos, I think her lawyers actually did great with getting her to come across more likable. It's just that they had so much of a task in getting her to be less snide about everyone around her that getting her face under control was something they just couldn't get to.
Love your commentary too funny. @runkle I hope you so commentary on rebuttal from Thursday. Lots to say I’m sure with the videos they showed. Much clearer pic of her control.
Awe Runkle puzzles are cool, especially the ones with no pictures on them
1:10:56 lol takes me back to the Seinfeld episode where they quarrel over rounds of ínka-dink and whether being "it" was good / is the winner or not. loll Good scene
She continues to use Lucas as a shield against consequences.
This whole case was insane and during that time I knew of some of the video and bodycam footage but never in my life did I think we would see THOSE videos of her behaviour. I felt like I had to wash my brain with shampoo because it was so heavy and shocking to me but then again she is so unaware of how awful she truly is. Jorge got to speak through this case and I am grateful that the jury saw her for who she truly was ‘the blue eyed devil’… 🙄🇦🇺🙏
Re: the judge who thought your client should try pounding the streets to find a new job.
Did he consider that your client wouldn't even be able to create a resume without a computer? I mean, maybe he can find a typewriter, but you would probably need to buy it online and have it shipped...
I could not stand how irritated she sounded at her own attorney
Well, he is her 9th. A few had schedule conflicts, but most begged to be excused. Wonder why...
I saw he was live earlier when I woke up... I didn't realize it would end like 9-15 minutes ago. Anyways this will be a fun watch for.... 6 HOURS? This will be interesting.
Soooo....if she was in fear....all she had to do was leave. Call the police and tell them.

2:10:33 YES THANK YOU, I don't think I'd even be able to sleep if I thought someone in my house wanted to kill or severely beat me and even MIGHT be able to get out of the thing they were in downstairs.
To me, Sarah Boone kinda looks like Zorg from "The Fifth Element", if Zorg ended up being a trans woman.
That's offensive to snappy dressers. Sarah has the fashion sense of overcooked pasta.
