Helicoils are an absolute must have for bikes. Brilliant things. Machine Mart do a mixed size set reasonably priced,every size you'll ever need on a bike. Saves a fortune over the long run.

My 78 GL1000 has nine of the sixteen floatbowl screws Helicoiled.
My pre unit 350 Bullet has three Helicoils in the rocker caps.

Great advice mate they are absolute life savers tbh. With soft metals these days it's very easy to strip a thread 👍
