    Very nice setup! The moment DJI unvelied the new design, I just knew that the DJI Action 2 would be perfect for riding!

    I struggle with getting decent audio - this sounds so clean. Thanks for the video looks like I'll need to step up my camera game. :)

      Good audio on a motorcycle helmet is hard to get. The struggle is real! Lol Thanks for watching!

    I noticed a few people moving to the Osmo Action camera. I started with a Hero 1, then Garmin Virb, Sony X3000 now a GoPro 8. I never had an issue with the 8. I think your footage looks great.

      I loved that Sony, i keep waiting for sony, but nothing new on that front. The Gopro is great quality and has been king for a long time.

    People may have divided opinions on the Action 2 but I see more potentials to it than what people are complaining about.

    Nice setup! Looks and sounds great. That mic is doing really well in the dirt helmet. I would have expected more wind noise without a face shield. Do you get more wind noise at higher speeds?

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Its a pretty good mic as far as reducing the wind noise.

    Can you charge while recording?

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, but not with an auxiliary microphone plugged in. DJI has not released a mic adaptor yet for power and audio. Im sure one is coming anytime now.

    Seems secure on your handlebars, Looks pretty rigid, has it ever fall off due to the heavy vibration?

    • @MobMoto
      @MobMoto  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, the mounting is very secure, it has magnets and clips to hold it in place.

    You have to think different with the Action 2, at least that´s what i learned.
    The "problem" with the external power is actually no problem with the Action 2.
    Yes i know, i had the same problem with my Gopros, because once the battery is empty, changing it while riding....just so annoying! Need to pull off your gloves, remove the camera from the mount (if you have a media mod), pull the camera from the media mod, pull the battery/sd-card, install new one, and then everything in reverse again, then you have your tiny little sd-card that you need to store somewhere so you don´t lose it and it´s protected....holy crap this fucked my up every time while i was on a trip! That´s why i also powered my Gopro with a power bank. So at least i could record until my sd-card was full...
    But with the Action 2 it´s just so easy and i don´t need to charge my cam with external power! I just stop, change pull the power/display module, throw it in my bag, install the new one, while my bike is still running and i´m wearing my gloves....so maybe a stop of 20s and i´m good to go with a full battery, an empty sd-card...so in the field this magnetic modular system is just killer!

      Yup, the ease of use is excellent. Ive been doing something similar with two cameras and swapping between them. the one on the bars I charge off the bike.
      Thanks for watching!
