Skull being an F1 racer makes sense because it takes place earlier

One thing about Black Shadow being "incompetent" in the main series... I don't think he's actually supposed to be evil so much as he is the equivalent of a wrestling heel. His pilot profile video implies F-Zero GX's story mode was actually a movie in-universe. So instead of actually being an effective villain, he's playing a character, hamming things up but not actually doing anything.

Leon didn't get much of any screentime in the anime, only being in one episode that's also more focused on Beastman that I didn't really like, but I do still think the concept of the adrenaline of F-Zero being way too much for him to control is kinda cool, even if I prefer him not being a werewolf in the first place. His human form has one of the worst haircut designs I've ever seen, which is something notable about that episode I guess.
Also, somewhat related, I always found it funny how Leon looks more like a cougar or some other big cat in his X art, especially in his GP victory art, but then is clearly much more canine in everything afterwards. Wonder why they decided to change that.

2:10 Similar tiny differences also exist for Antonio Guster and Silver Nelson. In the mainline series, Antonio was specifically turned in to the police by Goroh. While in the anime, he is simply kicked out of Goroh's team. But the overall point of Goroh abandoning Antonio is still the same.
As for Silver Nelson, he does have a new relation with Anthony Ropkin, who used to be rivals back in the day. But there's nothing that contradicts such a relation in the mainline games. And with Silver Nelson's age, he has probably even had more than one prominent rival in his many years of racing.
2:52 I'd personally put Samurai Goroh in "major changes" instead. Since pretty much every aspect of his character apart from his appearance has been changed. Not only is he less aggressive, but he is also much more of a good guy despite his profession having changed entirely to piracy. He also appears to be significantly more competent in the anime, but we haven't exactly seen much of his skills as a pirate or bounty hunter in the mainline games.
12:21 Link-Zero - "That's quite a lot more than the *1* that exists in the main universe."

Other than Goroh's placement in this list, I agree with all of it. Even the point about Leon being a really boring character in both timelines. Though I honestly prefer the version that didn't just go "Hm... He looks like an anthro wolf... Make him a werewolf then!"

Wait no. I checked. Silver Nelson has actually *won* _several_ races in the anime timeline!
Gotta put him in characters that were _COMPLETELY CHANGED_ now! D:

@vulduv, to be fair, it says that Silver Neelsen has yet to win a grand prix; it didn't specify whether that meant an individual race or the whole championship as the term "grand prix" can be used to refer to either one.

You're a top tier F-zerotuber (is this a real word?) that does so good to the series.
Not only you play nice but you also give an in-depth explanation of the (thin) lore of the series.

John Tanaka in the anime does remind me a bit of Antoine from Sonic SatAM, just without the French accent on him.
Tho I do wish a new anime on F-Zero should be interesting endeavor considering the battle royale plotline is very popular now. Mach Go Go Go should consider a new anime too now that I think about it.

I was waiting to watch this for a special occasion, this was amazing and would point anyone to this video about gx vs anime lore characters. A GX 2 that focuses on the anime would be great considering the characters that missed out on the big releases.

Anime Samurai Goroh is in my opinion is very different than in the games.
Not only is he more tame but he's also more competent in skill, is a more likable person who doesn't betray his Alies unlike in the games and he also has a moral compass with the people he robs or hurts unlike in the games where he probably doesn't even have them.
He also is more of a stoic bad ass that can actually give captain falcon a run for his money but unfortunately we didn't even get those two interacting once unfortunately.
Still Goroh is a great character in the games and in the anime still i prefer the stoic wise and badass one a little bit more.

    Hi!
I just wanted to say that I really like the content you produce but I think you could do an even better job.
When I discovered your channel I really liked the videos, but I had a hard time understanding most of your voiceovers. I’m not criticizing your English, as it is excellent. I’m also not a native speaker and would probably do an even worse job (not that your job is bad, just saying) so i fully understand the difficulty in speaking a foreign language.
But if you maybe try to talk a little slower, like you have done in this video a few times, we could understand every word you say.
Again I don’t want to disrespect you in any way. It’s just a friendly advice from one F-Zero-Fan to another. There is no other TH-cam channel who goes so much into details regarding F-Zero, so for that reason you are doing an outstanding job.
Keep up the great work, because YOU GOT BOOST POWER!

I really appreciate feedback like this. I'm always trying to improve that part of my videos, but even after two years, its still not as good as I want it to be, so don't worry, I criticize myself more than anyone else :)
It may be a combination of my anxiety and general fast talking but through comments like yours I am able to understand what exactly the problems are so I can work on them!
Thank you for commenting and watching o/
