    Hey there o/
This video is over a week late. I kept on making little changes which resulted in it taking longer than I expected...but all that matters is that it is here, right?
The next video should not take me that long but who knows if I suddenly want to change things halfway through it...only time will tell.
As always, I hope to see you in the next short or whenever the next video is done! :)

Much appreciated for spreading the word about this topic. This all started when we met one of our team members, Lifescythe, and they simply asked us the question: "Who is Jay Gonso Snaky?" What started as a simple presumption of fan fiction quickly snowballed into something massive. It felt like a major F-Zero archaeological dig. It felt like we had stumbled across some ancient ruins or something, and it was a blast working as a team and F-Zero community to get to the bottom of this. It was especially fun contacting people with connections to the old website and being like "Do you remember that one website from 1997 you referenced online about 20 years ago?"

Thanks for casting light on our investigation. By sheer coincidence the Snaky Lore did manage to get a number of things right
The Snaky Lore uniquely called the following things in the mainstream continuity:
    1. Black Shadow wants Falcon dead due to the loss of a minion (F-Zero X never said why Black Shadow wanted Falcon Dead-it took GX to confirm that he wanted Falcon dead due to the loss of foot soldiers
    2. There are underground (illegal) races (This was confirmed when Deathborn claimed to be the grandprix champion of the underworld-as of 2020 we got confirmation that the term "underworld" meant criminal underworld not hell)
    3. There was a "pilot school" of sorts (Baba's profile says he was recruited by "F-ZERO Pilot Selection Committee" and that his machine was built by the "F-Zero Execution Project Committee’s Pilot Training School’s Machine Workshop)" While not the same pilot school of the Snaky Lore which was allegedly run by the Arrows, the Snaky Lore did correctly predict that a pilot training of some sort did indeed exist.
With respect to the anime, the snaky lore was correct by coincidence on two points
    1. Falcon was rumored to be part of something called the "Internova Police Force," (a similar idea was used in the anime where he was a cop before he embraced the identity of Falcon)
    2. Super Arrow uses his bird to talk to Mrs. Arrow (this idea was used verbatim in the anime)

I'm honestly quite glad that most of the snaky lore is considered non-canon as I prefer most of the canon lore from F-Zero, that said, I do personally think Jody Summer's backstory in the Snaky lore is much better than her canon one.

To be fair, Nintendo of Japan has adopted NoA localized names as canon before, and not just minor obscure characters, I'm talking ones that played big roles in their games. The Koopa Kids (Iggy, Larry, Wendy, etc.) as well as Ganondorf's last name (Dragmire) were created by Nintendo of America and NoJ would later just use them in future media. Douglas J. Falcon might not be canon, but Nintendo of Japan adopting it isn't unrealistic. The main issue is more they haven't touched F-Zero in forever so have had no reason to.

Very interesting! Though just some constructive criticism, I think the music is slightly too loud, so it makes your voice a little hard to hear sometimes.

I just use the name Falcon gets in the anime, I know the show isn’t canon but I don’t even care, it’s my head canon😂
