hi, do you know how can i force thist trigger? for example i have a new infra to add on zabbix, i wish to force a discovery now to add any host avaiable in the network but i don't know if i have the possibility to force this process...i'm tryng to enable/disable the discovery but seems not working
How do I deal with node that gets rebuild and gets a new IP (But the name stays the same). I want it to override the existing host, however it keeps on creating a new host with a name of "newhost_2" . Thank you in advance
Hi Dmitry, I am not able to install Zabbix agent 5 on windows machines , i am not able to uninstall the agent too completely. Earlier we had 4.4 agents we uninstalled that earlier for some problem, but i am not able to install old agent or new agent
Hello Dmitry great tutorial, I've fought with a problem for some versions my environment finds legacy devices on the network, they are not installed anymore but the zabbix finds then again and again, can you elaborate on how to troubleshoot the network discovey? @@Lleanlleawrg at the time the DNS and DHCP had the records but then they had to be rebuild for the newer windows server version and the device keeps showing. But so many things have changed that I don't know were to look, we're rebuilding our discovery and I can't look into what went wrong on this anymore.
Hi Dmitry, thank you for another awesome video! Discovery check/action is only used to add passive devices right? You cannot use it to discover machines and link these to the “Windows by Zabbix agent active” template right?

Probably that IP address still is responding and reporting on checks.
@@zabbixtraining But the device has been fiscally removed and the IP was free on the DHCP server, that is why I don't know how to resolve this issue.

You can use any MIBs. That's pure snmpd configuration. Zabbix just uses what snmpd has

Yes. If that is closed environment, you can install proxy there and do same stuff. While keeping proxy Active to the server.
