Can you do an update on SNMP in zabbix 6.0 as they changed it and I can't correlate anything on it and there's 0 instructions by what I can find that actually tells you what each box means. For example, wtf is context and security name? Where does the user name go? How come I can't just choose SHA or AES?
Your videos are excellent for beginners like me. but I would like to ask, if I am deploying zabbix docker and I wish to monitor network devices using snmp. do I add the MIBs to the host computer or in the zabbix sever container using docker exec it?
I am using SNMP V3 , get bulk command to fetch 700 + parameters. The parameters values are floating point , for example they are values of voltage, current, temperature, KW, etc. Often values are missing all are not received in Zaabix. The device is a RTU of Emerson / Vertiv make .
Hi, Does Zabbix could automatically discovery all Network assets such as printer, PC's, router switches, servers etc...Like namp or lansweeper? I want to apply zabbix in LAN environment? tnx
Does Zabbix 6.2 requires zabbix server to be installed ?? In the documentation it only says proxy, agent , agent2 and java gateway... does it mean it does not need zabbix server ??
Hello Dmitry Lambert, I have a question about snmp monitoring, is it possible to monitor two different network interfaces within the same host? When one interface is unavailable, the other automatically becomes the default.
DO we need 3 different machines to successfully run Zabbix ? 1 for Zabbix component, 1 for database and 1 for Web server ? OR 1 machine would be enough to test it for like 20-30 machines ?? and what is the most stable version of Zabbix to run with Centos ?? and if possible please suggest the cpu, memory , requirements to monitor up to 50 machines ..
I was hoping to learn if I could use Zabbix to monitor devices with SNMP and what the process would look like. Additionally I want to know what it looks like 24 or 48 hours later to see what it does and if it is easy to set up, but I guess I'll never know. This video doesn't cover how zabbix works with snmp devices. It's a waste of time.
Hi! your course is helpful. Thanks . and I would like ask if you could do a video about zabbix on mysql replication that will be great !! Thank you again bro.

Thank you. Fixed that in recent videos

In 5.0 version has to be configured on interface level

1 machine is sufficient for testing. 2 recommended for production
