For the goshawk section it says "red shouldered hawk" in the corner and the narrator says "cooper's hawk" at one point FYI. Great video though, thanks.

As a youngster we called the American Kestrel a Sparrow Hawk.
Funny, I've often heard the sound of a red tailed hawk. The Red tail's don't often visit our densely oaked yard, so unusual. I finally discovered it was the scrub jays imitating hawk sounds.

The Merlin is a species of falcon. I call them Merlin falcons.

Generally nicely done. Thanks for doing that. It is somewhat odd to not separate the hawks and the falcons and discuss them in two groupings, in a sort of natural sequence and the use of the word "hawk" when describing various of the falcons is unhelpful. As in by grouping them, it is easier for people to make the distinctions. Eg better to put the Cooper's Hawk and the Sharp-shinned hawks together. I get the impression that the wavy lines have no connection whatever to the sound being played. The wavy lines continue when there is no sound. So why bother? Worth stating the annoying fact that the call of the Red-tailed Hawk has been dumped into sound effects of movies for decades, even in places where the species does not occur, as a poor excuse to imagine the sound of any sort of predatory bird, around the world. The caption of "Red-shouldered Hawk" stays on screen much too long. Philip (from Canberra Australia)
