- I finally got the airbag in!! So in today's video I'm going to be showing you how to replace the passenger side airbag in my 2003 silverado! Please comment if you any questions or even just want to say hi!!! I will be more than happy to answer all!!!

Usually disconnect negative side is slightly safer though you would not think of it ○ The aribag would obviously have a reserve power since total electric fail would be common in accident ○This helps me greatly since I am an accomplished DIY Shade Tree as I can see the connector can be grasped

Just a Amazon rebuild kit and a white led strip for the back lights!
I re installed and my airbag light came on as well as service airbag message

I think so, but I’m not 100% sure.

Thanks!! And yes I did I’m using eBay leds but some have already burned out so I’m looking into better options! I’ll be doing a video on changing the lights and stuff when I get it all figured out!!

Is there a SENCOR right by. Air bag ?
No. The airbag sensors are attached to the front of the frame I believe.
I have a horrable. Vibration. That may make air bag. Igniter operational. Can i unplug air bag. And drive ?
@@mikemaben7485 you technically could but I don’t recommend it.. the vibration you have shouldn’t affect the airbags functionality.
