+Kat Ploszay What trail did you take? Is it doable for a half day hike or so? Im going to try to find them this weekend and am wondering where is best to look.
Brian- I have a question, are the ponies ever a nuisance at all, I mean do they ever try to eat your food or anything? I know that the wild horses on assateague island are.
I've got a week long vacation coming up in june, i was planning on doing a swimming hole loop through the smoky mts but this looks awesome. do you know if this section of the AT can be part of a loop hike? I'll be solo and loops are just easier.
Being able to see wild pone ones up close is a treat
