You're speaking my language 😎 Everywhere in the Hill Country is going to be 3-4 hours from the middle coast. I personally fish from Matagorda to Corpus and it's all 3 ish hours from me in Dripping Springs
@@livinginaustintx I love the small town affect of dripp8ng springs. 5 bedroom modern houses 8 dripp8ng springs ? Or some average to build in the next year?
@@gwentexas closest I have in Drip right now is a 4 br...not many contemporary builds in the area. th-cam.com/video/937EgJDpYN8/w-d-xo.html For a nice build, you're looking at $275-350 a foot as long as there's nothing crazy happening in the design
That's definitely an issue on Canyon. Really on most Central Texas lakes. If you want a constant water level, you're looking for lakes Inks, LBJ, Marble Falls up the Colorado between Marble Falls and lake Buchanan
I like the smaller town vibe and setting...but building a new home in today's world in America with 1 bathroom sounds really out of touch with modern essentials.
HARD NO!!! So what is there to do in this town Sir?? Looks like nothing & just a bunch of old people😭. I want Starbucks but DEF NOT Walmart & Target, that’s for the lower class😫. How far is Sugarland & the nicer areas from here? I’m in NJ, 20 minutes outside of Manhattan & looking to relocate to a nice UPSCALE area.
Lol, you are correct, sir, Blanco might not be a match for you. If you're looking for crappy coffee, might I suggest Austin? Starbucks and Dutch Brothers everywhere. But, if you want good coffee, good people, elbow room and peace, might want to reconsider Blanco or somewhere else in the Hill Country 😎 -Chris
Great video. You mentioned Bastrop when talking about Blanco's proximity to Austin, but isn't Bastrop east of Austin? Maybe you meant to say something else. Thank you for showing us Blanco.
Bastrop is definitely east of Austin, yes. I can't find the moment you're talking about in the video, but I may have mis-spoke. But yes, Bastrop is between Austin and Smithville on the way to Houston on Hwy 71. -Chris
Graduated in 2002 and was not a 1A but a 2A and Football State Champs. It's now 3A fyi.
Thanks Juan, I appreciate the correction. You guys had a hell of a team. I was coaching in Austin at that time, so I remember y'all's run

@livinginaustintx you're welcome sir. Vaaler Creek Golf Club is a great course. Used to work there too. Anyway, have a great day.

I lived on Canyon Lake for 2 years the water is either High or slow because of the dam

Does the Blanco river have a damn
There are several "dams" but nothing that creates a big boating lake
I live in brownsville texas. Is their primary, and secondary schools like high schools middle schools and elementary schools
Yes, Blanco ISD has an elementary, middle and high school. Small school district, but a growing school district as well.
Thanks for watching!

Good call, but, there is a lot of new construction going on around Blanco all of which have more modern designs
Thanks for watching!
