Hello, my name is João, and I'm from Brazil. I spend 8 months in India doing a exchange, just dive into the day to day and the culture. Today I found your video, I went to some places of the video, Goa and Agra are my favorites. And I get really emotional watching, cried some times. Thank you for sharing your experience and the richness culture that India have! I love the way that you explain and edit, congratulations you have my respect!
Many thanks for this video my brother. I'm born and raised in the US. I've covered 38 states, so far, hopping freight trains, over the course of 6 years. India and Thailand are my destinations, and videos like this provide encouragement. Much love from a fellow traveler. ✌️🤘
Hi from South Africa yes your interpretation of India as you saw it is very true I found it interesting to watch and listen to you it was an "honest opinion and I agree it has its dos and don'ts and I like the way you speak and explain yes I have been to india and know first hand what you were talking about 🙏👌
Just wanted to say Mo just how much I loved your India trip video. A great start to my research for a trip in October. You have the makings of a truly popular travel channel. Thank you 🙏😊🙏
Goa is one of the most relaxing seaside places I have visited. Hyderabad is a great juxtaposition of the old and new, the ancient and modern. He did not even mention the Salar Jung museum, the Hussein Sagar lake, the Falaknuma Palace and a few other attractions of Hyderabad. But yes, it is mainly a crowded city. Rishikesh might have become commercial but it still has a serenity that touches your soul.
I watched this travelogue 3 times. Every time I watched, get amazed. Al Amin’s expression, smiles, intelligentsia and senses are absolutely present him as my little Hero. Love him, and wish his healthy bright future. Needs more videos about Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Srilanka. Unfortunate experience about racism in India. You’re very welcome in USA. Wish to see you one day here in New York.
mcmatt9332 I suggest you do more research on places to visit. There are hundreds. MoAlamin has visited a few but not necessarily described them authentically. Goa is a tourist paradise, but he seems to have disliked it!

I have my law exams coming up but this seems better to watch. And also I'm finally planning my first solo trip to all 29 States of India I hope it turns out nice
I m glad you put that racism thing in.... Unfortunately that's true....but there are approximately 20million+ illigal Bangladeshi immigrants live in India right now ..
Yeah even though Bangladesh have higher per capita income and better GDP than India but still they are swarming our country and especially my state of West Bengal
I absolutely loved your film. Watching it felt like traveling with you. It is informative and personal at the same time, honest, and very well put together. Truly impressed by your amazing work. THANK YOU !
Thanks for your video, I enjoyed it. I just got back from India 6 weeks ago and am going again in October. It's an incredible place and like you said at the end, there are things you will hate but there is so much to love, and I found the people for the most part, so nice and friendly.
Probably this is one of the best vlogs about India in my opinion. I’ve really enjoyed this vlog. I would like to say, you have got excellent voice and brilliant way of describing situations. Wish you all the best, bro!
It's a long but very relevant video. In the times where youtubers hardly keep you engaged for 10 min video, this vlog is very well produced and true to its nature. Al Amin (if that's the presenters name) is very very good, never pretending, provided honest review. Being an Indian, can totally relate to what is said. And concluded very well...India is a too vast a country to love or hate completely.
Heey!!!!... I´m from Bolivia... I really enjoyed your video and also liked your opion about being there so honest....Congrats!!!!!...I´m traveling India on March so I found your Documentary helpful....🤗🙏🙏🙏...Have a wonderful day!!!...Send you my best vibes 🙇♀🙏🦅🦅

this was amazing dude, you did such a great job of capturing all aspects of what a trip to India is really like--more comprehensively than anything else I've watched so far honestly! I'm heading there for the first time in February and I'm even more pumped to go after watching your video. Cheers!
A quick suggestion bro.. India is not all about a relaxing vacation... But it is about knowing how different religions, cultures, languages, landscapes and many other things living together for so many years .. and thats what is called Unity in Diversity .. Proud to be Indian.. We have problems we are overcoming one by one.. We will one day most craving nation for each and tourist... And about trains visit Europe you will know about the cost of trains..
Big thanks for the raw, blunt review of India, which you can rarely find online when planing and searching before going on a vacation. Hope you can also make same kind of videos for other counties ...
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. But I won't do this kind of stuff again. It's way to much work for little to no payoff. Plus I don't travel with camera equipment anymore :)
It was good for the time but if I made it today I would change a lot of things within the doc. But I guess thats how you change and learn in life! Glad you enjoyed it. Have a nice day :)
Also i loved your video, me and my bf watched it before bed time as it felt so chill like a nature documentary, you're really likeable too and have given us motivation to travel ourselves!!!
That's good to watch this video.. India is the country where the different religions and cultures and traditions are in.. you will come to know everything in the journey!! Hope you had a good journey! Very informative
TRAINS. 2 months before I go to India, reservations were already difficult. so I used the services of 12go. Even so, I have all sorts of reservations from AC1 to sleepers hahahaha but I welcome it so I can experience all train classes. Reservation for train seats most especially for long distance trip is opened 4 months b4 the actual trip. Not able to have reservations, I am forced to fly from Chennai to Mumbai, then to Kolkatta. My train reservations will only start from Kolkata until Jaisalmer stopping along the way 4days per city then back to New Delhi for my flight to Nepal. I am excited.
I saw this travel documentary. Unfortunately you had a bitter experience in India. Your attitude is really good and keep it up ! Forget the bad and eventually you will see good things...Nice video 👍🏻
This is such a good video. It's been the most helpful, entertaining and educational video I've watched on travelling India. It is also the best shot and edited! Thank you! Please make more!
In India, there is much more. In this video, Seems, He has only tried to focus on the bad experiences only. Please check the particular videos on the cities he has shared. For example: He was having only 500 INR /day room in Jaipur. Jaipur is costlier because its the capital of Rajasthan State, and also near India's Capital Delhi. Please try another videos on youtube about the royal experiences and great architecture in this City. We have like everything in India, from a great cruise to a rich living experience. I must say brother you are very honest but at the same time let me be honest with you there are good number of Bangladeshi brothers living in India and working here, so you being Bangladeshi can't be an issue. I know there had been discrimination against Muslims in India I have to accept but trust me it is far far less than all other non Muslim countries, reason of discrimination is less to do with religion but more to with some history of terrorist incidents and politics. My country is largest hindu population country and one of the largest Muslim populated country as well, it is not easy to control 130 crore people with so much of diversity :).I am sorry for all inconvenience you faced here and as you know already we are very far from perfect. I appreciate your good work and honesty as it was not just experience but useful information (which even I didn't know). Just subscribed you.cheers brother.
Hey Man, I like it a lot and your comments about many aspects, it looks very honest. You thank us for watching, we thank you for sharing. Cheers Brother !! :)
Dear Mo--As an Indian living in the UK-I apologise for your feelings being hurt while in Rishikesh. In the 80's I cycled through Europe with little money in my pocket and never faced any discrimination. The Germans were the kindest and not one shopkeeper in Schleswig Holstein charged me for milk and bread -I asked Why- the reply was that I was the 1st brown skinned person travelling through their village.I organise tours to Germany and India and just returned from some of the places covered e.g. Varanasi/Allahabad/Delhi/Agra/Jaipur/Hardwar/Rishikesh and guided a group on bus/train/Tuk Tuks/Rickshaws and had many positive experiences.I have done a fair share of travelling all around the world and each experience enriches us.Please do not give up on your discovery of India and making further videos due to one bad experience.I have been to your country Bangladesh umpteen times and have always been treated like a king.I always say to friends and others - keep travelling and keep smiling-there is a world to discover and we have only one lifetime left to do it.Regards
BIG thanks !!! I LOVED every single minute of this video. It is so much true, there are moments of both love and hate as we travel through this magnificent country. As I cannot travel due to corona situation, this video makes me feel happy in life, makes me feel connected to both trzvelling as India. Am SO sorry to hear about racism. I am a single white female. I never will understand the difference in colour, to me it doesn’t matter at all. It the people who matters the most. Big hug from Belgium and I will definately watch this video again 🙏🙏🙏
Did you find South India to be more travel friendly than North India? I've heard that South India is better for first time travelers to the country. Is that true? The towns near the mountains like Rishikesh also seem more chill and travel friendly. What do you think?
Manali, Rishikesh, Simla , Chandigarh are very travel friendly. Further, udaipur, Jaipur and Pushkar is also quite good for backpackers. Delhi, Varanasi, Haridwar can be a little exhilarating for new persons. But the whole India is vast and every state and city has something new and exciting to offer. Do visit south India and North India for a complete India experience.
Thanks for Visiting India. We are very sorry for the inconvenience you had in this country. Thanks for sharing your experiences around the country. Thank you Brother🙏
Thanks for the cool documentary. I lived in India for close to a decade and I am ashamed to say I've only been to two places. I'm def planning on coming back and going to a bunch of places.
That was the best explanation of train travel in India i have ever heard. BRAVO. I am coming next month for my 5th trip. This time i will be travelling for 9 weeks. I SO WANT to try general, but i am still chicken :) And you explanation of Rishikesh was SPOT ON! i laughed outloud when i watched. Yes! people buy the bangles and tshirts and headgear and henna and anklets and malas and beads and force themselves to be "spiritual" in these places, but you are so right. You cant make it happen by putting on a costume or going somewhere supposed to be spiritual. I found northern India in the Himalayans to be much more spiritual, or even the dirty alleyways in Varanasi.
Thanks for being brutally honest. It's kinda rare because all I have seen is youtubers exagerating indian food and indian culture just to get more views
This is a great vid. It's a lot to digest all at once. I cracked up at your review of Hyderabad and stopped there for the moment. Hampi looked amazing.
Dear Al Amin, Goa has two parts North Goa and south Goa. All beaches you mentioned you have visited there are in northern part, which is like all crowded and Russians. And the other part is the heart, very less people, not like party vibe it’s so different- best time you are here please visit- Cola beach, Palolem beach, butterfly beach and more in the southern side. :)
only 45 days...then just cover only two or three states of west or north or north east or south india... otherwise u will get sick because of sudden change in food water humidity temperature when u move from one to another part of India. OR u can use Kesari tour company packages which are famous in india. They are affordable and provide everything to make your trip memorable.
I love this video and your easy style of narration..I live in candolim in Goa about 5 minutes from where you shot your 'in restaurant' video . I wish I had had the opportunity to meet you:)
I watched your full video and like it. There is almost 20 million illegal Bangladeshi immigrants living in india, in delhi alone there population is about 1 million, so that is why may be you faced some rude behavior. But this should not be happened at all to any one who visits India from any country in the world and i apologise for that. I also like your smile, it is the indication that you like your trip to India. And don't mind negative comments, will love to see you again in India if you want to come again 🇮🇳
Traveling India soon, arriving september 3rd. I will keep in mind the wisedom you bestowed upon us when going gets hard. Thanks for that insightful vlog!
Great Doc, been backpacking India. I must say I enjoyed going back to the places you travelled. I was scammed too. Travelling to India is a bittersweet experience of mixed experiences. Its both sad and happy but overall thats India. Hope to do the India-Nepal too.
100% true mate. You're always pushing and pulling between hating and loving the country. Also, you will definitely enjoy Nepal, its so much calmer there and the people are absolutely lovely. Enjoy backpacking mate :)
I went from Mysore to Hampi in an old, rattly citybus without padding on the seats and stopping to let off and take on new passengers all the time, took forever getting there. So, yeah - I'll go with trains when I visit in december. Really great upload btw, looking to have a been a great trek. Only, you should have gone inland while in Goa. There is some good stuff going on in the forested areas bordering Kanataka.
Jesus! a lot of haters. Just enjoy the documentary and appreciate his effort to share his experience. @MoAlamin good job on the documentary. I hope you do more documentary and hey maybe I can come and join you someday. Stay safe.
Just found your channel. Really really enjoying it. So well edited and excellent mix narration. Great channel my friend. Sub from me. Greetings from Ireland 🍀🇮🇪😊
I really enjoyed this video. Have been to India many times and I agree with most of the things he said. However, as suggested go visit the country yourself. As an African American I've experienced a tremendous amount of racism. However, on the other hand I've had some equally amazingly positive experiences. With all the anti muslim rhetoric today it's to be expected and most of the bombings allegedly, have been done by muslims. Same here in the states the Muslims are looked at suspiciously. Shameful but it's the world we have created. Anyway, loved traveling with you and thank you for taking us with you.

3000 years ago The Jesus statue floated in and British put it in front of the church. Christianity isn’t even 3000 thousand years old...
Sorry about that, I think he meant 300 years ago.
Jesus statue made from stone floated, is that statue planted just to make a church at prime place??as story dont sound to be true
christian missionaries
we all make mistakes, lol.
Christianity is just 1500 yrs old. During that time Christianity was just limited to few western provinces not in India.

Thanks for Visiting India. We are very sorry for the inconvenience you had in this country. Thanks for sharing your experiences around the country. Thank you Brother🙏
Closed Netflix for ur documentary....great work
Thanks for the cool documentary.
Being an indian it's crazy to watch own country from a foreigner perspective but owsm video keep it up
Excellent documentary. The most good part is you were really honest and informative. Keep it up brother....../.
Thanks for being brutally honest. It's kinda rare because all I have seen is youtubers exagerating indian food and indian culture just to get more views
Best place to vist in Kerala is Alappuzha and Varkala cliff !!! it's heaven..
My kind of dream...will do north east india coming year
Great video! I love India!
I wish I'll go to India for about 45 days like you on Jan 2020. Please keep fingers crossed for me..
Go and have fun.
only 45 days...then just cover only two or three states of west or north or north east or south india... otherwise u will get sick because of sudden change in food water humidity temperature when u move from one to another part of India.
OR u can use Kesari tour company packages which are famous in india. They are affordable and provide everything to make your trip memorable.
Awesome documentary
This was awesome. I loved it.
Amazing video of India.... totally agreed with many of your views about the country 😊 thanks for posting
Thanks youu....dear you experience indian train....😘😘
Great Doc, been backpacking India. I must say I enjoyed going back to the places you travelled. I was scammed too. Travelling to India is a bittersweet experience of mixed experiences. Its both sad and happy but overall thats India. Hope to do the India-Nepal too.
100% true mate. You're always pushing and pulling between hating and loving the country. Also, you will definitely enjoy Nepal, its so much calmer there and the people are absolutely lovely. Enjoy backpacking mate :)
@@AlAminOYT I did not like the documentary ..... others are welcome to visit India....but @MoAlamin you are not welcome in India .... dont come again
Good work man, Loved it. Thanks for visiting!!!!!!!!
Jesus! a lot of haters. Just enjoy the documentary and appreciate his effort to share his experience. @MoAlamin good job on the documentary. I hope you do more documentary and hey maybe I can come and join you someday. Stay safe.
I am waiting this video again and again.. Because he presented it honestly.. ✌✌
Just found your channel. Really really enjoying it. So well edited and excellent mix narration. Great channel my friend. Sub from me. Greetings from Ireland 🍀🇮🇪😊
Gread Video! Kudos!
Great work
Thank you for this excellent film!
I will travel whole India
Good luck
