    Thanks so much. Questions, recs, comments...I love the idea of the Manduko Pro but I am petrified of the slip and slide factor. I've heard about it from so many as a turnoff. Love that it's 6" thick, which is probably my sweet spot (as long as you don't sink into the mat). I know it takes a heck of a lot of time to wear it in. I know so many who have given up on it. Not sure I have the patience to wait for nirvana. Grip and stability are key for me so I went with the Jade Harmony. The grip is the best I've found. I wish it were a lil thicker and a tad wider but I feel super safe. I practice vinyasa. The only downside is that because of the surface it's hard to slip into poses because of the grip.... I always wanted to try the Lifeorme but the 4" thickness seemed like a downside. I think 5" is the lowest I can go. I need some cushion. Wasn't a fan of the Lulu. I slipped on it. I know others who love it. Darn it, I wish someone would review the B Mat. I have heard so many good reviews (just not a heck online).

      Don't worry! It was lovely to hear from you again. And you are right about all the issues you mentioned with the mats. Here's some good news.. I've just ordered the B Yoga Mat :-) So you'll get to see that review you've been waiting for!

      How are you liking it? I got mine a week ago and have done the salt scrubs... I've been sliding all over the place it's actually makes me scared to do yoga. May return it.

      @@Sparksy I love it. It took a good 6 weeks of regular use to break it in but it was worth it. If I had to do it again I would have left it unrolled in a spot in the house were I walk with bare feet a lot. I do get it though. It was strange at first.

    Used Manduka Pro over 6 years. No issues, but recently purchased a Lululemon and have to say, it’s an excellent mat as well. Wish I could combine the best features of both mats into one.

    Please consider reviewing the Tiggar rubber mats (amazon) incredibly affordable (compared to Manduka Eko), great colors and best of all they're 26 inches wide! I used to be DEVOTED to my Manduka Eko 5mm.....My original was 26 and last me 5 yrs before the rubber started to peel. My replacement the width shrank to 24 and the quality suffered as it started to peel and show signs of wear after 3 months! Manduka Eko's have the BEST grip ever right out of the box but they won't even go back to their original width of 26 and are charging more....so I'm becoming disillusioned with them.

      Leslie I'll have to look into the Tiger rubber mats as I've not heard of them! I have a Manduka Eko, though I can't say it's my favorite yoga mat.

    Does your White liforme yoga mat has stain issue from the clothes you’re wearing during yoga classes?

    I'm looking for a mat that doesn't collect dust on the surface, for example, my lululemon smooth surface become bit "dusty" feel after a year and my very dry hands slides easily when performing downdog.

    • @AlexiaKYoga
      @AlexiaKYoga  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting, perhaps then you may want a mat with a slightly rougher surface? Such as the Jade?

      I’m sorry this is a year later lol but I understand. A humidifier helps. But even with carpet and a humidifier and vacuuming daily, I am still dusting constantly... I am going to blame the dog and the kids 😉 for my dust.
