Hi from Norway love ur content. Keep up the good work ^^ Also I used to have a JBL speaker too, it was a JBL flip 5 but some water got in the charging port and it stopped working. I thought it was suposed to be waterproof since JBL removed the charging plugg protector oh well One last thing the reason JBL dont want people to use the lfm for the speakers is because they can get damaged from it if u play too loud
Good explanation on the bass harmonics and some cheap speakers produce harmonic distortion all by themselves and fool people into thinking that they go super low when in reality they don't hear real frequency.
Something interesting but also sorta predictable is that the tunes you usually put out that are probably made with your monitors or headphones which you're accustomed to always have the same sort of tuning regarding the EQ. So the highs always have a certain loudness etc... Now everytime you put a tune together that was made with a different speaker it just sounds different.
this was so chill, i love how it just comes together. u made music with those other red n black 8inch Max speakers in the past, were they easy to work with and would you recommend??
I EQ'd them flat when I was using them, they didn't sound great otherwise, especially for producing. If you're new to music making just get some monitors :3
I still think that it's pretty good Freq response for the size of the speaker tho. That 55 Hz + Passive Radiators can make little things shake in the house.
@@followthebass its in my channel, the demo of a frequency test, it actually reponds from 10hz but only noticable decent volume from 35hz onwards ,which still smashes the JBL
Nice demo. I don't know why these lil cans even attempt to reproduce frequencies lower than 60hz. They rely on just like you said....harmonics... I have an 18" home theater sub connected to my computer using an outboard DAC, and it did nothing until the closing credits. THEN I felt the floor vibrate.
There's a speaker that been out for couple years was 300 when I come out now it's 54 pound nearly every where right now at that price it's the best home speaker I can suggest someone it's crazy for the price it is right now the urbanears stammen Please can you review this as I think it'll blow this JBL out the water and may even suprise you
the bugani speaker was also only £50 ( £70 in some seasons ) but its louder and more bassier and picks up lower bass range ( from 15hz ) JBL is good but like with all known brands u pay for the brand
@@girlsdrinkfeck 10 chinese watts louder doesnt make much difference and the jbl picks up frequency that low too which means nothing because it aint audible on either speaker. i bet the quality is better on jbl i have heard demos of bugani and treble sounds harsh
girlsdrinkfeck That wont make a difference. It is about what the amplifier can output and the drivers can monitor. I use Edifier Airpulse A200's which are about 900 euros, and they dont go lower than 44hz
I remember subscribing at 1000 subs. Always knew your personality and interest in interesting things would pay off! Props 🙏
I remember you being around for a while, much love!
I think harmonic bass sounds sweet in a lot of music.
Well its just the fact that you miss out the true fundemetal low waveforms. For me, as a basshead, you NEED that punchy sexy 20Hz

Watching this video using a JBL Xtreme 2

At least when you make music with these, your audience can also hear your base. 😀
Yes i can hear bass it very clear

Loved the video keep it up :)
Can't hear any of the lows through my hearing aids 😒, even with harmonics.
Great stuff here.
I got LFM confused with the regular mode since the regular mode seems more bassy sometimes, i realized the LFM is really just a eq flattener

Hey man do u recommande to mix with the jbl flip 5 ?
no I would say use proper monitor speakers. You can only really mix with the JBL if you know what you're doing already
@@MyStonerMind420 thanks man for ur response 🙌
Hey i wonder if my speakers and a equaliser is good the name of them is: panasonic FW750C
it looks like it would do just about as good as a jbl
a version where there are no harmonics for the bass would be nice
it WAS nice without harmonics but more people get to enjoy the bass when it has them. Also old track, no longer have the files for it.

Just use the sone wh1000 3s cuz it can make 4hz sounds

Id like to see a JBL boombox compared to this. The only reason i like it is because i can just throw the whole thing in the pool
