Warning for first time faire goers: These are all SUPER cute, but faires typically have you in direct sun for many hours, so if you wear more hot pieces like crochet, be very mindful to stay HYDRATED with water, gatorade, pickle juice (cut with water), and remember to eat throughout the day! So many people have gotten heatstroke at faires and needed medical attention even out of warmer clothing, so be mindful of that, it can be quite dangerous!
Lacy crochet pieces in the right fibers are not hot at all. It's all about picking the right pattern with the right yarn. Not all crochet pieces are thick and hot.
also as a tip: if you’re going as a fairy or nymph or something the dragon scale dice bag looks like a pinecone if you use brown yarn! i made some for my friend and i when we went to ren faire as fairies last year so we had bags to carry our phones and wallets in that matched our theme and i got a lot of compliments on them :) edit to add: i also did less? chains i think on the points of the “scales” to make them more rounded instead of pointy and it makes it look even more like a pinecone
As a beginner crochet-er, your videos like this have really inspired me and I've made multiple things you've suggested just in the month I've been crocheting Please don't stop these!
A quick note so no one else is disappointed --- the adorable leaf gauntlets (the green wrist warmers) come from a knitting pattern, not a crochet pattern. I was sad to find that out since they would have been perfect with the rest of my outfit. But there are some great ideas on this list.
Listen, the hooded corset was what got me to ACTUALLY pay attention to what she was saying. Like, I cared, but I didn’t see anything that really interested me. After the corset it just went uphill for me. Hope everyone is having a good day!
I dont do Ren fares but oh mah lawd!! I love almost everything you showed. I never thought to look for fantasy type patterns so this info is GOLD to me. Thanks for booking me as busy for the rest of the summer! ❤❤
I act at RenFaire and our group strives for historical accuracy but I love seeing the fantasy stuff customers wear. My favs of course are the more historically accurate but I appreciate all the creativity. Last year there was a slew of mushroom hats, the mushroom purses would be cute with them. All your stuff screams fantasy faire or festival to me which is what RenFaire seems to have become rather than history inspired. Everything changes. I could see a market for this stuff.
just in case anyone wants to make the dragon skall shaw but think its too hard, its not Ive made it and it is actually pretty easy. Its a pretty easy stitch and works up very nicely. I made a bag with that stitch but I used paracord instead of yarn and it turned out great and much more sturdy.
I’ve made the dragon scales dice bag and was a great make. Great introduction to dragon scales and not to many to feel it would never end. Great video thanks
i am getting so many project ideas and i already have so many to do. I am currently crocheting a shawl for my grandmother, than my sister wants me to make her a fishnet shrug then i have to make stressballs for some kids at my therapy office lol. absolute amazing vid btw!
I don’t have enough lifetime for all your great Ideas. Very inspiring for me as a beginner. Love the hip belt that have some pockets. I am in love with your videos! Greetings from Germany 🥰🤎
The fringey hip scarf and the leg holster thingy will be perfect for my pirate outfit. The hip scarf would also work well for a belly dancer outfit, especially if tiny bells are crocheted in randomly.
Great video. Also my cats i have 3 one of them literally follows me everywhere and if i shut a door scratches to get to me for ages and wont stop. But i love them. ❤
Ren Faires are so much fun! But, like you, I won't drive more than an hour or so to go to one. They are so much better if you dress up. I started out going in my street clothes, but then realized I felt like an outsider looking in. When you dress up, you feel like you belong to the theme. Much better time at the faire. Fare thee well!
i appreciate your effort in making these "50 crochet project ideas" videos, i think this one is by far my most favourite ❤ do you think you could make a video about alternative/punk/goth/grunge crochet ideas? again, thank you for your hard work! 🥰❤
I loved this video!! Thank you SOOOO much! Can you make a granny style crochet projects? Like stuff that grandmas would wear? I know that it's real weird but I would love to see some grandma patterns:) Hope you have a great day !!! Love your mushroom hat❤🍄
7:46 when i clicked at the link, there was no pattern at this site, there was just a photo of this hat and other hats. If i missed something there please tell me cause i really liked this hat and i would love to crochet it
The jacket at about 12:45 is the "Lotus duster" by Morale fiber, she has a tutorial on youtube for it, the the sleves and hood are both optional✌🏻✌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Oh my gosh it's like this video suddenly showing up is fate for me, how did you know I have been thinking of going to my first renfair since a few weekks! Also these projects are so cute and usefulI will definitely incorporate them into my outfitt ^-^
9:39 I'd call that a kidney belt, like the armor piece. Definitely making that one, combining with the star skirt. Working on my top for MD Ren Fest next month ^_^
Thank you for the work you do hunting down patterns! I have seen the “jacket thing” (hooded duster) so many times but couldn’t find the pattern!!! If you ever find a dragon scale hood pattern 🙏🏻🙏🏻 please post
I always said that I hate the fact that I would never wear something knitted or crocheted, because I'd love making it. But it's just not my style of clothing. This video had SO MANY things that I'd absolutely wear to a medieval festival. Now I don't know anymore if there's really no crochet-clothes I'd wear just day to day... Do you have a list of patterns for people who usually only wear, like, biker-, rockband- or metalband clothes? 😂 I'd love to see that. Anyway, absolute banger of a video! Really loved it! I will basically keep coming back to this channel.
ahhh with ren faire around the corner of this video is perfecttt also i totally get the location thing, I also live in LA and more the valley so the irwindale drive is a good hour and that’s if traffic isn’t the way it ALWAYS IS HERE lmaooo i would 100% advise to carpool, that’s what i do every year! i hope you can make it this yearrr ♥️♥️ (ps it’s can get really hot so bring ice water and a fan or somethinggg :))
ocean themed!! i know this is really specific but i’m going to an ocean, jellyfish kinda themed festival for new years and i wanna crochet me and my friend cute outfits we can wear!! that’d be epic 💗💗💗
I just look at everything she’s showing and see future gifts for my friends. Like, I meet up with all of them, bring all of the crochet projects I made for them in front of them and say,”Okay guys, here are all of your presents for the next few years. Don’t ask me for anything else.”
You should definitely go to ren faire!! You would have such a great time!! I'm going in October but I think you would love it!! Btw I love your channel so much💕💕💕
The mushroom hat 🤩🤩
It SLaYs

@@stilllookingfortreasureYou're absolutely right! Cotton, for instance, is very breathable! I recommend it if you're going to be out in the sun.

LOVE THAT
i totally thought you said pineapple and i was like "those are some eccentric fairies" until i read again lmfao
As a beginner crochet-er, your videos like this have really inspired me and I've made multiple things you've suggested just in the month I've been crocheting
Please don't stop these!
this feels like facetiming a cousin to talk about crochet or something! love the vibes ❤
I love that you do free patterns. That’s THE REASON to support you.
that mushroom hat is so cute omg!! love ur vids
A quick note so no one else is disappointed --- the adorable leaf gauntlets (the green wrist warmers) come from a knitting pattern, not a crochet pattern. I was sad to find that out since they would have been perfect with the rest of my outfit. But there are some great ideas on this list.
Is there a video of how to do those wrist warmers i cant find it on anywhere how am i supposed to find
I really appreciate how organized the links are makes it easier to find patterns. Also, love your content.
timestamps for myself:
5:02 - hooded corset
6:03 - fairy queen coat
6:21 - cool jacket hooded thing
7:44 - flower hat
Listen, the hooded corset was what got me to ACTUALLY pay attention to what she was saying. Like, I cared, but I didn’t see anything that really interested me. After the corset it just went uphill for me. Hope everyone is having a good day!
RIGHT?! Anyone found the actual pattern for this top?? @@skymemory1799

just in case anyone wants to make the dragon skall shaw but think its too hard, its not Ive made it and it is actually pretty easy. Its a pretty easy stitch and works up very nicely. I made a bag with that stitch but I used paracord instead of yarn and it turned out great and much more sturdy.
Currently perusing through TH-cam for ideas and was so excited to see this pop up!! Exactly what I’m looking for
I’ve made the dragon scales dice bag and was a great make. Great introduction to dragon scales and not to many to feel it would never end. Great video thanks
Oh no I LOVE that sunflower bag and the link's broken! And the tinkerbell bag was my other favorite, darn it.
for the sunflower bag, there should be videos on sunburst granny square pouches.
Omg I'm the creator of the underbust corset, thank you for the feature!!
i am getting so many project ideas and i already have so many to do. I am currently crocheting a shawl for my grandmother, than my sister wants me to make her a fishnet shrug then i have to make stressballs for some kids at my therapy office lol.
absolute amazing vid btw!
I've also never been to a renfaire but I feel like you smashed this
I've been looking for MONTHS a video like this, thankssssss
I don’t actually need more patterns or yarn, but… these are all DREAM projects, so thank you for enabling my hyper fixation
A wacky crochet/snoods/thneeds idea video would be really fun. Also yarn-bombing as a category

Dice bags work great for trinket bags for ren fair, pirate festivals, etc.
I use a silver teapot as my trinket pouch, slung on a leather frog on my belt
@@EchoatTheOakAnchorI love that idea so much!!
I love your mushroom hat!!!
I wish I could go into the screen to give you a hug!

OMG I loved this video I've always wanted to go to a renaissance faire
I love the bluebell hat
i'm planning on crocheting leaves around some wire to wrap around my arms!!
They can even be used as harvesting bags or for foraging purposes as a selling point for renaissance fair art.
Love all these ideas ! Thank you so much ! Have a fantastic day ❤
You look soooooo gooooood with that mushroom hat

Could you make a video on very practical crochet items, like 2 in one hats etc?
You should do forest core crochet inspo or hippie crochet inspo
OMG I need so many of these just for every day, let alone the Ren Faire 😂
These are so cute! Thank you for making the video and including all the links in order in the description, it makes it really easy to find them :)
I loved this video!! Thank you SOOOO much!

I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!
I would love a video with animal themed stuff, like unicorns and other things🤩
a lot of these you have to pay for, which is totally understandable because they must have taken so much work to make!!
Can you do a video like this for stuffed animal ideas? Love your videos and appreciate the time you take to link everything and show pictures!
uh, quick question... is there a pattern for that utility belt you showed after the pixie belt? i would LOVE a pattern!! thank you!
The jacket at about 12:45 is the "Lotus duster" by Morale fiber, she has a tutorial on youtube for it, the the sleves and hood are both optional✌🏻✌🏻👌🏻👌🏻

I always said that I hate the fact that I would never wear something knitted or crocheted, because I'd love making it. But it's just not my style of clothing.

Lol I’m watching this while weaving in the ends for my lotus duster (that weird hood without sleeves thing in the cloths section)
Dice bags could also hold crystals
I def wanna make a LOT of crochet pieces for Ren Faire for my husband, sons, and I
Please teach me how to do the mushroom hat you have on😭 I need it
I just look at everything she’s showing and see future gifts for my friends. Like, I meet up with all of them, bring all of the crochet projects I made for them in front of them and say,”Okay guys, here are all of your presents for the next few years. Don’t ask me for anything else.”
