When my daughters were young we used to go out on the porch when there was a rain storm or a thunder storm and get under blankets and experience Nature! They Loved it! One of them now lives in Norway and absolutely loves hiking and camping in the mountains!
Other than the sound of my daughter in my arms just after being born, I don't think there's a sound as beautiful and wondrous as that of rain hitting the top of my tarp. I sleep so well during a rain or snow storm. I love that you do not drown out (no pun intended) the sounds of nature with music or other sound effects. It's annoying watching a video and music destroys the ambiance that only nature provides. Thank you, Erik, for your great productions.

As a kid growing up I'd read tips about survival and living outdoors that I now know were written by some guy siting on his ass in a New York office having his morning coffee and donuts just writing filler pieces for a nickel a word.
Whatching your video while sitting comfortly dry and warm in front of the PC monitor + listening to the sound of falling rain indoors in one thing - going out and experiencing the same thing is an other. The sound gets me the place where I used to take a shelter from the rain when I was 10 years old boy. There was no internet, no mobile phone, no expensive camping gears but we were happy with the only sound of the rain. Thank you for the lovely moment. Here it rains in Seoul as well.

Rainy day hikes in the forest are the best. Bringing a tarp along is a great idea, as it gives you a temporary shelter to take breaks under. In my experience the only down side is cleaning up and drying off all of your gear when you get home.

WHAT an AMAZING video! Not just the amazing sound and the wonderful close ups of nature and the work that you must have put into making this with the moving to reposition the cameras , mic repositioning. With this type of video ,always amazes how much effort is required to walk off into the distance and then have to come all the way back to collect the camera and mic.
