I live and vegas and I’ve been thinking about getting a slingshot to rent I’ve only been running into videos from people that are saying how it’s great idea but they are also selling a course. Thanks for the insight
This help me out a lot. I was thinking of getting into this game, but I was thinking $250.00 per day. Turo seems to be were they low ball you and they walk away with the profit at your expense
It boils down to slingshots attract the type of client that intend to do wild shit in your vehicle. Thats the main problem. %99 of your rentals on any slingshot will be from someone who wants to do dumb shit in it bottom line. So if you want to deal with that headache of constantly going through claims and constantly fine tooth combing the vehicle after every rental more power to ya. I cant deal.
300-400 a day is a bit steep. Auto is the way to go on a rental and buying it outright is key when renting instead of carrying a payment. Good insight though.
Each to there own.. But you were trying to get rich out of your slighshot.. $300-$400 a day that’s very expensive.. Secondly rule number 1!!! DO NOT FALL IN LOVE WITH IT! Its for business only
Yeah I had the crazy logical argument that less bad drivers would want to rent manual. Because most people who drive manuals are car enthusiasts and drive better. Was the idea anyway…
Atlanta. They may be listed at $230. Doesn’t mean they are renting for that consistently when you can get a comparable vehicle for $100 less a day because people are willing to rent at low prices to gain more consistent rentals
@@T8kyol I guess it all just depends on where you live. I'm in the Ozarks and it's an ideal place for recreational experiences like this. Thanks for the video tho. Super helpful to hear someone else's experience

Its a long term play for cars like prius and such economy cars. Cars that dont attract abusive and irresponsible clientel.
You should've rented it without Turo. That's the only way to charge $300/day.

This was bought outright. My concept however failed thinking only compotent drivers would want to rent a manual trans version.
@@T8kyol my bad for assuming. I thought the same as you about the MT but unfortunately you can't trust people to be honest.
Did you know that you could have the customer use their own insurance!

Whoa you’re so full of wisdom
No I’m just not an idiot trying to become rich out of a slighshot
@@truckerp607 no you’re just an idiot telling anyone they’re trying to become rich by trying out a method of slightly passive income 😆 🫡💀

Manual transmission and a rental car is a bad idea IMO…
Yea no shit.. especially nowadays
Your biggest mistake is trying to rent a manual on turo

Where are you located? There are 4 listing near me that are all $230+ a day.
