Sabian Stratus Cymbals - Review

- This video is a little different from my others, because I received the 2023 launched Sabian Stratus cymbal series in its entire range from Sabian's European distributor Pearl Drums Europe which I would like to present to you. Rather untypical of jazz, but still worth trying out. I received a total of 9 cymbals, a 22" and a 20" ride, 14" and 15" hi-hats, crashes in 16", 18" and 20", an 18" China and an 18" zero effect crash.
After watching this video, decide for yourself if Sabian's Stratus cymbals are the right choice for you. It will be exciting to see how these cymbals are received by the drumming community. I recommend, how could it be otherwise, to test the cymbals yourself and listen to them. Feel free to write in the comments what you think of the Stratus series! I am curious!
For the recording I used Ableton Live with one Beyerdynamic MC-930 overhead microphone about 1m centrally above the snare drum. In order to get the most natural sound, I did not post-process the audio file, there is no EQ, no compressor or other effects.

Excellent presentation Brother! This new line of cymbals by Sabian are Sweet. I like the overall appearance of the cymbal with the hammer marks, but do not like cymbals that are so shiny like a military belt buckle.( no pun intended)
The cymbal pak is $850 for $1200 in cymbals.
