Here is a new video cover I did for the solo of the song "The Best Of Times" by my favorite band and Guitar player.
Dream Theater and John Petrucci.
The video was shoot in Fireball music studio in Thessaloniki Greece by Lefteris Pasalidis and Wrecked Visuals.

@@coolgabe64 well, one's entitled to elect its best. But this it's objectively played damn well, and I've seen many (some played incredibly masterfully but with too aggressive vibrato or slightly different parts). I am studying the solo right now note per note and this seems quite close to the original.

Before seeing the video I knew it was a tremendous cover. How could I know? Easy. If there is emotion there is musicality and enjoy what is done.
Petrucci one of the best out there.I may get into trouble with this comment in which Gus does a perfect cover with this solo and i find it even more ear tickling than the original..The arpeggios and haunting badass vibratos are as close to perfect as one can attain.
I also like the richness and added flair in Viossy's doing which is quite ear tickling as well.
Even Tina has her own touch which is cool..
Totally agree. I've just recently seen another cover, the guy is an exceptional, fast and super-clean player, but the vibrato was too aggressive and out of place. On that specific regard this one and Viossy's covers are played just masterfully.

Best cover of this BY FAR. You didn't just play it, you captured some of the subtle pickup changes, little bends, the way you vibrato and other little nuances that just make this sound magical.

Though I have watched this video years ago and I have watched it so many times, but, today I just want to say that you have nailed it. I could not find a single error or missing note judged by my small brain. Tone and vibrato were superb so as the pulls, picking and timing. You are just mind blowing
