In my opinion you should grind Russian one bc in the future it will get more planes as opposed to German tree German tree has euro fighter and a few more planes here and there but Russia gets updates and new planes and tanks like every update almost but if you simply want to play Mig 29 or looking forward to euro fighter in far future then german tree is better + Leo’s are fun if you play ground
Before we jump to 4.5th gen and beyond, Germany has 2 (two) aircraft left: the F-4F ICE and the Tornado ASSTA 2/3. Maybe Mig-29G as well, but that would be a copypaste Mig-29A with a different skin and cockpit...

@@quality9299 no it couldn't, in fact it couldn't even carry R-27T technically. Mig-29G had a very short career, mainly using stocks of older russian missiles
There is also a bug right now with the 9.12 where whn you lock a plane in VR, the hud disconnects from where it's supposed to be and doesn't reattach until you switch radar modes. Also, the missile lock circle doesn't follow your view unless your looking through the hud, nor does the HMD mode actually show where it is your looking. It shows in game as stuck to your nose even though it is technically following where your looking.
I don’t have experience grinding the Russian tree, but I’m gonna throw out a wild guess that it’s a lot easier than the german tree. German air repair costs are about 2-2.5x higher than russia on average, and with Russia you have access to the 23ML for premiums whereas Germany only really has the 21 lazur m (which can struggle with the current matchmaker). It should take a similar amount of time purely from a research perspective, but it will take ALOT longer to grind Germany from a silver lions perspective.
Think about the future not just now German tree if you like ground is very good I enjoy the Leos but Russia gets new stuff like every update so it’s up to you plus Russian is like stupid easy to grind from my experience and cheap repair costs + u get Yak 141 aswell as mig 29
Truthfully if all you want is the mig 29 then go Germany but people at forgetting ,what’s gonna go after them in future what’s Germany gonna get? But then Russia has lots of option that reason I went for Russia ,I now finally have 6 nations full tech tree finished

Did you buy on a credit card? Was the payment rejected by your bank etc? Sounds like Gaijin didn't get the money and are penalising you for it. Check your bank statements then contact Gaijin support
not GE, but GJN. 7 transactions got an error at checkout, yet the snail still deducted it from my account and I haven't gotten GJN. Ticket has been open for 4 days without a response and I'm about to chargeback through my bank...

I was super close to getting the mig29 for Germany, but i said fucked it and I'm about 54k rp off getting the mig 29 for Russia. I figured that the german tree has pretty much peaked and the Russian tree has alot more in future to offer so i made the big move to them 🥺

I have the 9 12 versuon but i dont have that 2 lines that you move to lock on someone is that something i need to change in controls or options?
Question theoretically we could have su27 with just r-73 and r-27 and the F-15 with aim9 and aim7 right ore would they still be op?

Mig29a less weight than mig29s. 29a better in close combat buuut 29s later have r73 r77 and r27et. So the s variant much better in the future
