This whole video just proved that 16v16 was a mistake. There’s basically no skill to getting a victory right now. Just roll the dice if you win or lose.
I like that they added clouds but they added so many. Just a few near the fight so I can escape out of engagements if I don't or can't hold my own. Making the entire map mist and allowing some people to see miles beyond walls of clouds is so stupid.
For me ; 29SMT is better than 29G. Better RWR , Better Radar , More fuel , More flare/chaff (120x) and CAS ability. The good thing about 29G compared to 29SMT is that it is lighter. But frankly, it doesn't make much of a difference since all MIG29s in the game now use up all their energy when they turn.
In 29G you can win first turn in 1c fight even against 16A(but still loses to yak-41m) and then reverse turn and launch 73 to the 16’s engine from “not-flareble” distance while on SMT you have no chances to launch 73s in dogfight against any plane, I mean you will be able to launch it but it won’t be from rear/side-rear so all of 73s will be 1-flared and then SMT will be killed by gun, that’s all. Radar means nothing in todays 9M/73 meta cause first - no one flies higher than 100m, and second - almost every new vehicle now has 100+ flares/chaffs so even if you will find someone at altitude higher than 100m - that guy will just notch your r-27r(er)/7f(m). About fuel, for 29SMT 30mins + drop tank is more than enough for the entire match, 29G has the same amount of fuel. Can’t say anything about CAS cause I don’t play ground/mixed battles, but I personally(but I think the most players think the same) hate when guys in migs/f-16s(especially in f-16s) in ARB matches doing nothing but bombing bases and ground pounding pretending to be bots in F-4 knowing that even in stock any of f-16 can outperform almost any of 11.0-12.0 plane and most of them not even in stock cause they have 9Ms on their wings so that doesn’t make any sense and they’re just ruining the game for the whole team cause -6 9Ms = at least -2 enemies and -1 plane especially in the late stages = less distraction etc. And basically teams are half filled with these “players” that won’t help you even if they are in range to launch missiles and they are unspotted

29SMT have better radar , more fuel , more flare/chaff and better RWR than MIG-29G. The good side of the MIG-29G is much lighter than MIG29SMT. Better for dogfights. Your choice. For me SMT is much better.

Kinda not a fan that Germany has so many Russian jets , I’m new to wt and grinded Germany to rank 5, switched to Russia got to rank5 and realised I could’ve just kept playing Germany
If I remember correctly the German mig is better cause it’s a lower BR (13.0) and doesn’t have r-73s which are kinda useless, hence the lower battle rating.
