    being a cancer warrior that still loses hair after not having done chemo in over a year and dealing with lots of knots, i found that the glycerin doesnt help with losing hair....diluted or not it actually still dries out and makes it worse......ive been making a mixture of distilled water, jojoba oil, vitamin e oil and the lavender e.o. that works soooo much better......................and since u guys love lavender as much as i do, make a body spray!!--distilled water, few drops of vitamin e oil and lavender e. o....ive found that with my bone pains, if its actually rubbed in after u spray it, it relaxes and lessens my pains......its wonderful!!!!! im on facebook and have a cancer page(FAQ Cancer) that i often put my diy recipes on along with smoothies/juices and infused waters .....u guys should check it out!!

    my hair will not remain untangled for a second... Its constantly one big knot. I have the tangle teezer but it only untangles it for a second, then immediately gets extremely knotted. I really want to cut it all off

      try using a paddle brush as if you have thick hair like me, it doesn’t get through the knots barely at all. It only lightly brushes the top of mine

    Good one, but what I do, is take 1/4 cup of my favorite conditioner, to 3/4 cup of water, shake, shake, shake, Shake your bottle. You could use a little less conditioner for better hair, but my hair is so freezy and thick. You can also use it on dry hair, so you can get a brush or comb it through it.

      but with thick curly hair its not good to leave in....conditioner in general is meant to be rinsed out....too much build up!

    I highly doubt this would work on my hair....nothing does. My hair is unmanageable. Her hair is so straight and it didn't even get really knotted when they messed it up. My hair would have been terrifying.

    Lavender is used to help relax and sleep, This would be good before bed, but in the mornings, lavender would make you sleepy. Looking forward to trying this recipe but with citrus scents (grapefruit, lemon, lime, bergamot, orange) to help wake me up in the mornings. Thank You for the video.

    Ani if you really want to do something good for your hair - use hot/warm coconut oil every time before you wash your hair (massage your hair with it and also use it well on the hair and ends). I keep the oil overnight but if you can keep it for 2-3 hours that works too!!
    Do this for a month or two and you will really see the wonderful results and how your hid quality improves!
    The concoction that I use is - coconut oil, almond oil, castor oil, and a couple other oils depends upon what I have at home

      olive oil is better for the scalp
      coconut is better for the hair as it manages to get into the hair shaft

    Your welcome...glad you tried it, I kept trying to get my sister to try it for months. finally I made her a bottle of it, and she said she wish she had listened to me 6 months earlier, so were hair would have had a jump on looking better conditioned and easier to comb out every morning. My personal holy hair grail that I can afford.

    Nicole Cahoone.. When you add Witch Hazel, I am assuming that you are talking About Thayers Witch Hazel without any Alcohol..I know many in the drug stores and big box stores only have the brands that have alcohol on it. With your experience, I am going to give your recipe a try. I haven't had any problems with my mixture and I have used it for years, I have long curly hair...and my e in a high humidity area..Do I even need to talk about fighting Frizzies. My prayers are with you, I'm sorry you are going thru the issues. Thanks for your advice, My hair certainly can use some improvement.

    Hey guys dont brush your hair when its wet because ur hair is weaker and it can brake off the hair.

    • @daydaymarceaux
      @daydaymarceaux 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ask someone with curly hair how that works for them... it only makes your hair weaker if you rinse with hot water and strip the oils away. Wetting with cold water makes the oils hold your hair together while you brush.
